Place your order than go back outside to the outdoor eating area to wait to your food comes up at the window. The outdoor seating was comfortable with the breeze blowing. The meal itself had some good and some real bad. I don't know who to blame for my wife's order. I could blame the wife as I hinted at the fact she did not want to order a fish sandwich at a hotdog/burger joint but she did not listen. Or I could blame the restaurant for having on the menu a square piece filet of fish. It is enough to say the sandwich tasted like it looked. I ordered the fired pork sandwich which was multiple pieces of breaded fired pork on a hoagie type bun. The sandwich was not bad but the meat could have used a little more seasoning. The fries were served piping hot and were pretty good I would think it would be hard to ruin unsweetened tea, but they did.

This popped up and it was a classic. This is a throwback to old beach towns. Limited menu. Lunch-only hours. It opened at 11 a.m. as the wood windows came down. Two brats and a dog to go. In the five minutes to get them, the parking lot filled up. Mostly locals, working guys in the majority. Likely all regulars and for good reason. The food was fine. Service: very gracious and appreciative. Ambiance: hole-in-the-wall chic. A new favorite.

I was greeted with a smile and a good morning as soon as I entered the restaurant. They gave me a menu and told that I could sit anywhere I would like. The server was very friendly and relatively attentive. The dining room is adequately filled with six large larger tables and a number of smaller ones that are perfect for two people. They also have four picnic tables outside. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. Yelp shows that they're open until 3 PM, but the menu shows 7 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday, and the grill is turned off at 1:30 PM. I decided to try their ham and cheese omelette. The menu shows a peace symbol next to the best selling items. The omelette comes with hashbrowns or grits and your choice of toast. The server suggested raisin toast or the biscuit. I typically do not order biscuits because they tend to be dry. Their biscuit was surprisingly good. It was sliced in half and grilled on both sides. It tasted soft and moist after applying butter and strawberry jam. Similar to the biscuit, the ham and cheese omelette was also really good. Maggie Mae's look fun and it was. Food: a unique, toasted Cuban sans mustard with a heap of tater tots. Also tasty egg salad with pasta salad. Both with water. All good. Ambiance: this is a local oasis with a wide breakfast and lunch menu, including soup of the day. Sandwiches are specialities but we hate to have missed breakfast. And super messy because of the black garlic aioli - but worth the mess. Lol. The burger comes with a side of house-made pickles - but I omitted those. My soup (pardon the bad photo) was oh-so-tasty. Lots of chicken and mushrooms. I was so happy about the soup because I was struggling with the side options. I don't like 'dark' potato chips and every housemade chip I'd ever had was dark. I don't love pork rinds and none of the other sides would really pair well with a burger (grits, pasta salad, potato salad, brussells sprouts slaw). Price / Value I think the prices are what one would expect based on this type of fare being served. Overall If I lived in town, this would definitely be a spot I'd hit up weekly for lunch.
