(he passed peacefully at home) We were supposed to have a private visitation the 2nd day after to say goodbye. Got a call an hour before from them saying we couldn't see him, he had too much decomp and had blackened. What's more is the medical examiner who generally signs off after long illnesses then had to take his remains into custody because "he was no longer recognizable." I then had to email family photos & pictures of his license & tattoos so they could identify him for the certificate. Additionally when I first called to set up the visitation, the guy tried to bully me into using their cremation services (we were having him transported out of state for disposition). I still had to pay for the pick-up. This whole ordeal was very traumatic and we didn't get to say goodbye. Go elsewhere.

Old and peaceful…read more The North Falmouth Burying Ground was established in 1804 and hasn't accepted new customers in a long, long time. Most of the gravestones and memorials are simple and look like they were all carved from the same quarry. Not a lot of variety here, no obelisks or huge crypts, just a whole lot of plain and simple stones with a few larger and more elaborate gravestones scattered around. Many of the stones are well worn and difficult to read, no surprising considering the soft stones and harsh Cape Cod weather. The old graveyard is quiet and peaceful and a nice reflective place to walk around. Lots of plants and trees growing between the gravestones and the entire area is well maintained and quite attractive. A nice cemetery that gives a glimpse of a simpler and less complicated time.

I always come in with my flowers to the funeral home and I always make a meal for the family for after the week they are very accommodating about putting it in the refrigerator if it's a cool meal or on the in the kitchen if it's hot meal and making sure the family I was accommodated when it's over. This time they had chocolates in the entryway where people sat and relaxed and talked with other family members etc. like a calling type room they had boxes of chocolates which are apparently the deceased favorite. I thought that was extremely thoughtful thing to do.

I highly recommend him . He was kind , asked questions about deceased ,what were his likes /dislikes , what he did in life and what was special about him. Our local one came in with the cheapest cremation costs. A friend recommended Casper and it was almost half the cost from what our family funeral home quoted us. That was with a discount as well! I called Casper about 2 months beforehand and they were very detailed and provided all the info that was needed. I had multiple phone calls with them and they were able to assist me even though I was in California. I mostly spoke with Jake and Colton during this process. When I arrived Saturday was the only day I could go down and we had a snowstorm the day prior. Roads were pretty bad and they were able to accommodate me even though they had a service going on. Parking can be a nightmare there, I parked a few blocks away near a barber shop. I would recommend this place to everyone!! I was truly blown away by their service and empathy.
