The two ladies that came to my house did a fantastic job! They cleaned/sanitized the bathrooms (1 full, two half baths), dusted, vacuumed, mopped the travertine floors and cleaned the kitchen (wiped down the countertops, cleaned the cooktop, and scrubbed the sink). They were perfectionists when it came to vacuuming--the vacuum tracks were all in one direction. I didn't want to walk on it once they were done for fear of making it look messy! :-) They even vacuumed the sofa and loveseat. One of the ladies was on her hands and knees, wiping the floor, on her way out the door. The two women I had were friendly and attentive to my directions. They are very fast and efficient. I have a large house so I only ask them to clean the rooms we actually use. One problem - they never return things to where the were before cleaning. Chair not back in the corner, rugs not returned to their place, etc. I talked to them about it and they are doing a little better. Overall I'm satisfied with the work they do. read more

I was not impressed AT ALL by the level of service provided. The only thing they cleaned was my closet sized bathrooms and my fridge for 4 man hours. I cannot believe that one man took 2 hours to clean a tinnei-weenie bathroom while the other man took 2 hours to clean only the fridge but not the freezer! I would give this company a zero if I could. I have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service! I bought "4 man hours" of cleaning via Groupon. Two women arrived at my house, which is a small 3 bedroom 2 bath home (1096 square feet). I explicitly told them that I would like the floors and the bathrooms cleaned thoroughly and the house dusted. When we returned home, we found the living room cleaned and the kitchen floor mopped and nothing else done! I have had MANY cleaning services able to clean my entire house within 4 man hours. But to have only two rooms (actually just one room - the living room) fully cleaned was astounding. NOTHING was done in the three bedrooms or 2 bathrooms. When I called the company to complain, someone named Jenifer Prado informed me that I was expecting too much to be done in 4 man hours and said she would not fully clean my house. I was amazed at this. I am asking Groupon for a refund. I would stay FAR AWAY from this company - they are HORRIBLE! read more

I purchased a Living Social deal for meticulosity. At first it was difficult to get a response to set up an appointment. Once I got the appointment the cleaning ladies arrived over 30 minutes late. When I informed the owner, Jennifer Prado, she said she usually tells people the cleaners may come 30 min early or late. Well no one told me and I had an appointment to get to that I was late for. I have a rather small house. It's 4 bed 2 bath but only 1500 sq/ft. And two of the bedrooms are completely empty. I stated as my number one thing that I wanted a deep cleaning on the floors - vacuum and mop. They didn't even mop the wood floors. So my floors still looked dirty. I could have done the cleaning they did on my own in two hours. I don't know what they did with the other two man hours. I am extremely disappointed and will not be using their services again. read more

WOW!!! I wish I had read these before purchasing my living social voucher. I can ditto many of the revews posted. Their customer service STINKS. After three failed attempts to schedule a house cleaning, the owner called me Monday to confirm a 11:30 AM appt for Tuesday. To say I was shocked, is an understatement. She told me that she emailed me the date and time. I truly doubt that ever happened since I had tried to contact the compnay three times. As of 12:30 PM on Tuesday, I was still waiting for the cleaners to show up. At 1 PM the cleaners called me letting me know they were at my gate. I told them to turn around and leave. They were 90 minutes late and I had to leave at 2 PM for a previously scheduled appointment (which I told the owner the day before). The cleaners told me their previous appointment ran late because the homeowner asked them to stay longer. They told me they called the office to let them know and someone said they would call me to let me know. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!! Luckily Living Social gave me a credit since I absolutely REFUSE to work this this company and I highly recommend that you do the same! read more

very unprofessional. called me the day before to bump me two hours up, i couldn't do that so i compromised for one hour ahead, the ladies were 4.5 hours late!!!! no phone call, no message nothing. and since i had company coming from out of town, by the time the ladies got here i was an hour into cleaning it myself. i promptly told them to go home!! i will never ever use this company and can see why they have only one star on yelp. the owner tried to say 'her son was in the hospital" im sorry but if you own a business you take care of these little details like giving the house cleaners a phone number of who they are 4.5 hours late for so they can call!!! horrible - do not use this company!!! read more

Thanks for your great services! I was in a pinch for a house cleaner and Meticulosity came to the rescue. I had them clean my house every other week for about 2 months and they did a nice job each time. I loved that they were in and out in 2 hours. I didn't have to get out of the house all day. They worked efficiently, cleaning both bathrooms, kitchen, all the floors and bedrooms in 2 hours. There are some reviews that mention the ladies were late, but for me they always showed up within the time window I was given on the phone. I was always told "between 10 and 10:30". A time window is totally understandable - maybe others did not understand this. Another thing - they call the night before to confirm. This is great - with my busy schedule, I had forgotten a few times! They are also flexible. One week were were having our house painted (inside) so I had to put them off for a few days. They were totally fine with that and were able to get me in. Thank you! I will call you if I ever need cleaning services again! read more

I have used this company twice with Groupons and have been happy with the service I received. They do not do a perfect job, i.e. sudsy streaks in the showers, but my home is definitely very clean when they are done and I am anal so no one is going to clean exactly the way I like. I had no problem communicating with them about what I do and don't want cleaned or how. The first visit they cleaned 2.5 bathrooms, my kitchen, and mopped an entire 2500sf house. I did, however, pay them $50 for an extra 3rd hour. I was a little annoyed to find out they only charged my friend $20 for an additional hour though. The second service we only had them here for 2 hours and they cleaned 2 bathrooms and my floors. Each team definitely has their own level of speed and thoroughness. For the Groupon rate I'm happy with no complaints. I was easy to get an appointment and Jen is pretty quick to respond. I am surprised there are so many negative reviews, but there are always going to be people that are impossible to please. read more

I have reviewed Meticulosity before, 5 stars, and nearly a year later I still give them 5 stars. What I want to add this time is that not only did they do an awesome move out cleaning for me, they did it with very little notice and worked within my tight timeframe. They cleaned super cheap carpet that is over 12 years old and extremely worn, and made it look amazing. And the detailed receipt they provided was very helpful in trying to get my deposit back. While they did an adequate job the first time with the housecleaning itself, the communication about the appointment the first time left a little to be desired. Still they were friendly and hard-working. This last appointment they did an amazing job, and the company was great about communicating with me. We employed meticulosity to do a major cleaning of the house we bought before moving in. At first dealing with Jennifer was very good in arranging things. However after having the cleaning done I would not recommend them. We asked that all the cabinets be cleaned in the kitchen however they missed several of the dirtiest ones. Jennifer said they would clean the dishwashers thoroughly however they left crud that was around the edges and I had to clean myself. They also left a wet rag and toilet brush laying on the new carpet we had put in. We had asked that all windows inside and door jams be cleaned. The windows looked good but the door jams were not cleaned. When the person came back to do it he still did a half assed job. For the amount of time spent on our house and the amount they charged us it should have looked better. Also the tile floors were not cleaned as thoroughly as should have been. Jennifer said they would clean the grout in kitchen but obvious they just mopped. Jennifer and Imelda did a good job however the other two did subpar work which caused the whole job to be inadequate. read more

FIrst cleaning service went very well. A little early, but that worked to my benefit. Both cleaning ladies followed directions to the letter. My guest bathroom shines, the chrome and the shower stall completely like new. Great attention to detail. On hands and knees to clean the floors. Just purchased three more cleanings. If they do well on all of these, I will keep them forever. No chatting, worked well on their own. Perhaps they are a new company and trying to get organized. Suggestion: write down what it is you want done, check up on them once in awhile, I gracefully directed them along to other things if I felt they were taking too long in one area - they were very accommodating. I've had experience with many companies, none worked out. I'm taking a different approach with this company. read more

Don't use this service. I bought this on living social and set an appt because it was a good deal. They came earlier than the appt and found a key that I had hidden on the front porch and helped themselves. They set off my alarm and when I got them on the phone, they weren't apologetic or anything. What if I were sleeping? They acted as if it was my fault for not being there 4 hours before the appt! Their response was that they have other homes to clean and didn't have time to wait. I don't recommend them AT ALL! Not worth the good deal, pay the extra money for someone else. read more

I will start out by saying that the cleaning job was great. Unfortunately, a lot of companies I've hired have done a great job. Meticulosity was unsatisfactory because of what happened leading up to my appointment. It was scheduled for 3:00pm, and when I got home at 2:00pm to straighten up and greet them, there was a Meticulosity magnet on my front door, as if they had already been there (but they had no key). No one called, or notified me, otherwise I would have been happy to move my appointment up. I called Jen to see what happened, and had to leave a voice message. I called back again at 2:45pm and she picked up, and told me that her staff had shown up early, waited a half hour, and then left when I didn't answer the door. When I asked if they were coming back at 3pm, she said that they had gone home for the day. I was furious! She didn't seem apologetic at all, but agreed to come at 7am the next day, when I told her I expected my house cleaned as soon as possible. A few minutes later, she called back and said that she would come to my house herself, with her husband, and get the cleaning done that same day, but they wouldn't be able to arrive until 4pm, so an hour later than planned. I expect my cleaning company to arrive on time, or at least call me ASAP when plans change. I wonder what would have happened had I not called her before 3pm. Would I have been waiting around for them, wasting even more of my time? read more

Although the limited work that was done was good, I was very disappointed with the company's deceiving marketing approach. I did not realize that since two people came to my home that I would receive half the time. I spoke with LuLu and she asked me to email her a list detailing what I'd like done and to give an approximate amount of time to work in those areas; I guess that was to help with how much detail I wanted in each area. I did as requested and it totaled 4 hours of work. Not only did they not do half of what was on the list, they stopped working after 2 hours. The blinds were listed as "most" important, and they weren't done. I called LuLu, the manager, and she said that since there were two of them, I received the 4 man hours that I paid for. I understand what she means but I feel it was unclear and very decieiving. Had she clarified it via phone or email, then I probably would not have used their services or maybe considered paying for an increase in time. The list that I sent her stated to "let me know if this is not clear," meaning anything I listed. I heard nothing from her so I thought my calculation of work and time was reasonable. LuLu said that she never got the email, although I have the sent copy that went to the same address that I had used previously to reach her when scheduling. I am disappointed because what seemed like a "great" deal doesn't even appear to be a deal! read more

Purchased a Groupon for this company. It is one of the WORST experiences I've had with a house cleaning company. I bought a deal for 3 cleanings, and all 3 times the ladies were 2 hours late or they would cancel after the appointment was scheduled. When I called the company I spoke with LuLu and she was horrible. She was very rude and when I asked to speak with the owner, she told me that she was the owner. I eventually got a hold of the real owner Jennifer and let her know how her manager had handled my situation. She seemed apologetic, but they poor customer service continued. There were several different cleaners that were sent to my house during the three cleanings and one of them stole parts of my vacuum. When I told Jennifer, she contacted the gal who said she "accidentally" packed it up with their supplies. The girl quit shortly after and the owner could not get in contact with her to return my parts. Jen did order a new part for me, but it did not fit my vacuum. This was the first time I've ever had a house cleaner take something from my home. HORRIBLE experience, huge waste of my time and money. read more

We had such a great experience with this service. Purchased the 8-hours of cleaning Living Social deal. While it did take longer to schedule the appointment than I'd anticipated (understandable since hundreds of people purchased the Living Social deal), it was definitely worth the wait. The two ladies that came were both on time, professional and wasted no time in getting busy cleaning. The went above and beyond what I had anticipated. They cleaned my childrens' rooms thoroughly (organized the mass of books, their cluttered desk, put toys, stuffed animals, shoes & clothes away, dusted, cleaned mirrors & shutters). Unfortunately, by the time they made it to the other side of the house (5 bdrm/4 bath 3600 sq. ft.), I had to leave for an appointment and there was still a bit to clean left but they did hit the important things (dusting, vacuuming, cleaning cooktop and last bathroom).
