Especially during the pandemic, they were all very professional and took all the precautions one could hope for to keep me, my family and themselves safe while rendering outstanding services. The positive review on their profile is from someone in California so I do not think it is legitimate. I reached out to this company for water-repair damage from a leaking vertical air handler. The impacted space was objectively small (3x7ft MAX) in the basement. I reached out to them AFTER resolving the leak and fixing the water leak source. Here are the issues I faced that result in this negative review: - They are only responsive during the "sales" phase. I heard from my contact (Mohammad) consistently when he was first following up on my call, scheduling the initial inspection, and closing the deal. There was no paperwork and I still haven't seen an invoice or receipt. As soon as he received payment, they became slow and "busy". - Prices are inflated. He claimed on the phone the impacted area was 50 sqft. It was NOT. I believed it because I was not physically present at the inspection (again, I trusted him because he was a referral). I believed this was true because maybe the water damage had expanded to deeper in the area and I wanted to ensure there was no mold growth. But when I saw the area they ACTUALLY serviced, I knew this was a lie. - They tried to get me to pay the amount in full before any work was even done. I am so glad I insisted on only paying a deposit and the full payment AFTER the service was done. - They told me they would charge for "emergency repair" since it was a water damage case. But the situation had been contained and after charging me "emergency" pricing and getting that payment, they two 4 days to complete the work. There were two appointments: one for remediation and one for repair. It took 4 days to get them in for remaining work. No urgency even though they charged me the "emergency" pricing. - After charging me $1,350 for the "full, all-in emergency repair work for 50 sqft" and telling me this is "all in pricing", see attached for how they left the carpet (stained from the water damage). When I asked him about it, he said "carpet cleaning is separate". Apparently "all in" does not include the carpet. ??? - I have asked them to give me a detailed, itemized invoice for almost 2 weeks now. He claims it was emailed to me, it was not. I triple checked, it's been 12 days. The price wouldn't have been an issue if they were honest, communicative, and trustworthy. But this was truly a ripoff. I have worked with dozens of contractors over the years to manage my properties. This is the first time I am leaving such a negative review. I will also be letting the person who referred me know his referral sucked. Please save your money and go to ANYONE else. This company is not trustworthy.
