My insurer at the time had a cyber event and was unable to assist me. They said their price was an estimate coming in at $21,520 for a 500 square foot office space. Their contract states that because the work being performed is urgent in nature, exact specifications for the work can not be provided to owner. After my insurer was involved, they refused to provide the requested documentation. Eventually they accepted the payment of $5954.83 that my insurer said was based on industry standards. They were using billing for dehumidification and air filtration that did not conform with PPD and CFM calculations and using a private price list. They did not notify me before charging my credit card for an additional $9000 without even sending an invoice or notifying me that they received payment from my insurance company. They have been threatening and inflexible, placing a lien on our property while refusing to speak with our insurance company. This behavior is predatory and they are grossly inflating their prices. I will be making a formal complaint to Virginia's licensing board while hoping for some resolution to this nightmare.
