The stores very own "manager"and an employee scammed me with a horrible phone that started acting up just 8 days aftr I bought it. They added stuff to my plan when I did NOT authorize. Do your homework before visiting this store. The staff is pretty cool, but somewhat lazy. Pros: Good Price Plans, Good Coverage. Cons: Poor in store support and knowledge. I was charged $20 for insurance on 2 phones as a new customer. I declined the insurance and was told it was mandatory to receive the promotional deal of 2 Samsung A20 phones. I called Customer Service and they credited my account for the $20. Customer Service also told me, I was correct....Insurance is always "optional" and is not required to receive any sort of promotion within the store. The store associate lied!! That is fraudulent! Unlike Dennis I have not had any problems with the store. First the store is in what is called River Oaks West. Secondly I do not know why he had the problem with a SIM card because they do sell SIM cards. But I've never had a problem I lost my first metro phone and I got another one and it malfunction and I had to pay a replacement fee but they gave me another phone which was fine I purchase another phone and it was fine too. After my husband passed I just didn't feel like having the same phone so I purchased another phone which I'm still using. The staff is nice I mean it's it does have a turnover. But what I found out because it's a corporate store is that they're not authorized to sell any other carrier except Metro by T-Mobile. I plan in the next year to buy another phone probably a Samsung Galaxy S9. But as I said I've had no problems with them. read more

I bought a new phone on September 12th from the Crestwood location and 2 days after I bought the phone it was dropping calls, people couldn't hear me. I couldn't hear them, it was skipping. 6 days after I got the phone, I wanted to exchange it for another device, because they said I had seven days, but they said I couldn't because I went over the allotted hour call time by 3 hours to get another device. After 2 weeks, I was still having the same problem I went to the store three times with this issue, I called the 800 number four times with this issue and all they could do is try to connect me to the towers or they got me a replacement phone, which I got on the 30th. It's still having the same problem On October 16th I went to this store because it's a corporate store and all they can say is all we can do is give you a replacement phone, which will be phone number 3. In one month, you want to give me the same phone with the same problem?Three phones in one month, That's ridiculous. Bye Metro!! read more

Warning! Stay away from this store. I got instructions from the MetroPCS (MPCS) call center to take my phone to this store to purchase a new SIM card. I called in advance and spoke to Kiana (sp) and explained what they agent at the call center advised me. When I arrived at River Oaks where the store is located, the female greeter told me they couldn't sell me a SIM card. I explained that the MPCS call center directed me there and that I had spoken to Kiana before driving there and was only asked if I were already a MPCS customer. The greeter then got Kiana who seemed intimidated by the greeter. A diminutive gremlin of a man interjected and told me that they wouldn't be selling me anything and then ejected me from the store with the help of a threatening security guard with his hand on his gun. While leaving the store I dialled 911 and the Cal City Police came out and while I sat in my car with another MPCS agent on the phone, the female officer arrived, took my phone inside the store to allow them to speak with the call center agent. I remained seated in the car. The CCPD officer came back and suggested I go to another store. I did so and had no problem getting intelligent, efficient help. They even installed the SIM cards and told me about another promotion and I bought another phone. The MPCS agent had told me that the store in River Oaks was a corporate store. Don't expect any help from these imbeciles. They are incompetent, lack product and service knowledge and rude. Those are their good points. read more
