    On a fixed income, my mother simply cannot afford $30, $40 or $50 for phone service that she was…read morepaying. It was insane. So we went the cheap route and it wasn't too bad at first. Have had service around a year. There are LOTS of pluses in the customization of the service, which was the main attraction (aside from low price). We only allow whitelisted folks to call. If they aren't on the list, they don't get through. That is the ONLY guaranteed way to avoid scams and others you never want to hear from. If someone is NOT on the list and calls, there is even a way to view the history and if that person doesn't block their CALLER ID, you can see "Donald Trump" called and then if you want to add him to your Whitelist so he can get through in the future, it is very simple. The DOWNSIDE is phone service often goes into MUTE for no reason at all and you have to hang up and call the person back! They can also hear beep tones on their end but on your end, it is simply interrupted noise, which does interrupt what the person is telling you. This gets annoying. I've spent time with tech support, but none of that worked and about to call them again because we refuse to pay for service (no matter how low) that doesn't deliver! Customer service is okay, better than expected, and five stars compared to Frontier!

No wonder they are going out of business now. Excuse was they couldn't process credit cards anymore among other BS. You think a CC processor will work with you when you screw people over and have hundreds of complaints? Timothy Dick belongs behind bars.

We use smplsolutions for all of our data, voice, networking/cabling/racking, DVR, and UPS needs, both in Los Angeles and New York. This includes a wide range of products from Cisco, Toshiba, Dell SonicWALL, and APC (just to name a few). It is rare to find a technology company whose employees will strive to tailor a solution that will work for your company's needs. Unfortunately, most technicians working for other tech companies will commonly blame it on that product's limitations telling their clients that "it can't be done" or "that's just the way it works." This has not been our experience with smplsolutions. Matt Abshire, smplsolution's Telecom Manager, has researched many projects for our company and has always come through with a solution. smplsolution's employees are excited about what they do and it shows.
