BEWARE of Metro by T-Mobile on Elmira Vacaville! They are SCAMMERS!!! Mya and Genesis are very unprofessional and manipulative. I went in to buy my daughter a phone. Mya the store manager had stated an IPhone 13 128 GB was $250 with activation fee and 1st months bill. She also stated a tablet and phone case was free. When she asked me if I wanted to add a line for the tablet, I had told her NO. I also asked her if the phone case or tablet would show on the receipt and she said no. We were rushing with 3 kids running around, we didn't even think that she would over charge us. Until I got home, and received a message stating the monthly bill would be $70, due to the fact that she did in fact add the second line for the tablet, when I clearly said NO. When I looked at the receipt, I saw she charged us 425$ for purchases we never even received (speaker and power bank), and that she did in fact charge us for the tablet $13. When my husband went back the following day for a refund for the tablet and the speaker and power bank we never received. Mya stated those purchases were required and part of the purchase for the phone and only refunded him back the $13 for the tablet. She also mentioned that, Since she didn't have the items in stock she gave us a phone case instead. But when you look at the receipt, it says $43 for 2 items. So we basically paid $90 for a phone case? And she said yes. When we requested a refund, she said she needed the box for the return. So I went back, and she had Genesys tell me they couldn't do the refund without the district manager. After talking to corporate and a different metro store, it came to my knowledge a district manager was not needed for the refund. So, I went back one last time and demanded my refund. But instead Mya was upset I posted my experience my experience on the Solano Community FB page and said it was bad for business. After requesting a refund 4x, I yelled at both Mya and Genesys, and warned incoming customers of their shady business. Mya then banned me from the store. So she can ban me from the store but can't give me a refund? Make it make sense. Mya and Genyses both make money by commission, so charging me for these extra items I never received only benefits them. And stating I have to come Thursday or Friday when the district manager was available is ridiculous, when I asked for the time he will be in they said they didn't know, so they basically want me to run around and chase down the district manager? This is ridiculous and very unprofessional. Metro by T-Mobile is scamming the working class that works hard to make these purchases. All I wanted was an honest transaction, even if I had to pay $600 for a phone, I value honesty. And when that is crossed, I will then continue to post on social media to create awareness. Where it clearly states I was charged for *speaker and power bank I never received * tablet that Mya stated was free and nothing would show up on the receipt * $75 activation fee This place is a scam! As you can see in this photo this is a 14 day return policy. Item must be in package with receipt and in good condition. Item was bought on 12/09. So simple math 9+14=23. So that mean I can return it on the 22nd if I wanted to. But yesterday 12/16 my husband went in and tried to return it. They said that they can not do it because there DM said not to. So I called today and got the same response. So then I asked for the DM email she put me on hold. She didn't hit the button correctly and heard her call me THE BITCH OF THE GUY FROM YESTERDAY. I hope she has fun when corporate comes and dose an investigation because it took all I had not to go down there. I have to explain this one-star update review. Today, I called this location at 3:06pm, and a man answered the phone (did not state his name). I explained to this man my concerns and my questions regarding my high bill. This man interrupted me mid-sentence and began explaining some government program that may be causing issues to my account, but he could not guarantee this. My response was that I had no changes to my account what so ever that could cause a spike in my bill and that I had not signed up, nor have I accepted any program that he explained. His response was, and I quote "Well I don't know what to tell you" to which I said, is there a manager I can speak with that cpuld help me, he claimed to then be the manager, and once I asked for his name he then hung up and disconnected the call. I figured maybe the line was disconnected. There's no way this manager could be this unprofessional. So I called back, assuming he was the only one at this location at the time of this call. He picked up my call the second time and hung up AGAIN. I tried to call back several times, and he repeated to pick up and hang up each of my calls. I am not sure what this mangers issue is. Yet my questions were not answered, and my bill is still high. On top of this, he was extremely rude and unprofessional, to say the least. If this is how the management at this location handles business here, I can now see why the rating on Yelp is low. I am very upset about this interaction. I know very well that if MYA was available to handle my issues, they most definitely would have been resolved. Yet the level of incompetence this Manger has is disturbing. I would appreciate anyone responding to this Yelp review. Could you would be kind enough to have a discussion with this manager based on the time and date of this review and give him some basic 101 customer service training. Its a small store located at the end of an outdoor strip mall, next door to the gas station. There is parking right out front. There were 2 staff on duty - one assisting customers and the other had her head buried in the computer. Even though she wasn't assisting anyone she ignored us. When she finally decided to acknowledge us she said our phones were a few years old and they don't carry the (micro) chargers anymore. We didn't feel welcomed but more of a burden. We ended up purchasing chargers from Amazon (a lot cheaper I'm sure). read more

My phone locked on me so I called customer service from a different phone and the representative told me that I could go to a store in person and show my license and they could unlock it. I went there today,Sept. 24th and a young man named Jeremy helped me and told me that my phone couldn't be unlocked and I needed a new phone and couldn't trade mine in because it was locked.Before I dropped all that money for a new phone I stopped by my daughter's house and asked her to look at it.I didn't know any passwords or anything and my daughter doesn't work with phones but 10 minutes later she gave me my phone back unlocked.Very suspicious to me that a T Mobile worker would say that my phone was permanently locked and I needed to buy a new one yet my daughter unlocked it in 10 minutes. Early this week I went into this store and found nothing has changed since I opened my account 6 years ago. These people have got to be the rudest I have ever encountered. It's ridicules. OH NO, MY MOMS PHONE BATTERY DIED! apparently my mom needed a new phone battery. or so we thought.... We were referred to this location after we had called the 800 number and they said they would be able to help us. We walk in there and we rent greeted or offered help. we went up to the first available employee and told her our problem. she concluded that we needed a brand new battery and charged us $80!!!! my mom wasn't satisfied with that answer so she waited to be helped by someone else. The next employee (Ruby) told her that she actually needed a brand new phone and if she wanted it the same day it would be $30 or if she wanted to wait 3-5 business it would only be $10 Of course my mom decided to wait and only pay $10. Stopped by store to inquire of new phone service. There was only one customer service rep. She was handling a lost phone issue. I was informed in a respectful way to wait. We waited for 15 minutes not knowing how long this phone call was going to take. We didnt have much time and had to leave. Im not a business man, but two customer service agents would really help solve this issue. If your reading this "Metro pcs", this is a great way to loose customers. I drove to Vacaville after a really bad experience with the Pleasant Hill corporate office employees. My wife and I upgraded our obsolete iphone5 to new Android devices at the reseller kiosk at Sun Valley Mall in Pleasant Hill. We were still unable to send/receive test msgs from non-metro pcs contacts to our android devices. I had also had login issues prior to my bill being due that a few lengthy calls to customer service did not resolve. Even the reseller warned us to keep our expectations low with the Pleasant Hill office. Those people were rude, condescending, and incompetent. The best answer they could tell me was "tell your contacts that use iphones to shutdown & restart their iphones". Not. I decided to visit the Vacaville store, regardless of the time & distance, and brought my wife's android & iphone as well as my devices. I think the ladies that helped me were Elizabeth & Ruby, but it's been a few weeks since I was there. They were both patience, kind, understanding, and respectful to me. Fortunately, they were also knowledgeable about both our new android devices (samsung & lg) and our iphones. As it turns out, there is a Facebook messenger setting in addition to the General text messaging settings on the iphone devices that need to be disabled. After a few attempts, our phones were good-to-go! I was even surprised that they had to field troubleshooting calls from as far away as Reno, NV. Made a point of driving from Davis to Vacaville to get our new phones at a corporate store instead of a local dealer. Thought we might get knowledgeable and helpful customer service there, as opposed to when we got our current Sprint phones at a local dealer. We were wrong. We walked in 30 minutes before the store closed, planning to spend around $600 - two new smartphones and two lines on a new account. Already did our research and knew which plan we wanted and which phones we wanted. Checked out the phones and was surprised to see that the ones we wanted were $30 more in store than they were listed on the Metro PCS website. When we were finally noticed, one employee had us walk across the store to where she decided to sit. Got barely into the paperwork and when she couldn't explain the difference between the $40 and $50 4G plans, she decided she didn't want to help us. But at least she was falling out of her top. Over to the other side of the store to be helped by someone else. Who immediately started bringing out cases and screen protectors and other additional stuff. Okay, I can understand upselling, but dumping a pile of boxes at us before even asking if we want one is not the way to do it. After a few minutes of standing there, she asked if we wanted a particular area code. We said no, we want the numbers we already have. Oh, hey, we can't do that without a copy of your current bill... We don't have a copy of the current bill - we never see it, we said. You can go to the Sprint store and get a printout, she said. It was now 15 minutes before they closed. We left the store without spending a dime - other than the gas we wasted getting there and back home again. We will likely be going with Metro PCS for our new phones as they have the cheapest data plans and no contract, but the phones will be purchased elsewhere. read more

I stopped in for phone help, and to make a long story short, I was told 3 different things by 3 different people, and when i came back the THIRD time that day, the only reason why i got help was because a manager was there to explain things. The workers here are basically completely uneducated about their products. and to top it all off.... THEY WERE RUDE. The girl who "helped" me (when the boss was there) was very very friendly, untill i came back the next day because she forgot to tell me an important piece of info, and then even she was rude! Customer service here is terrible. The staff is unhelpful and unfriendly. Unfortunately it's the"corporate " store the other stores must refer you to when you need a phone replaced under warranty. My husband and I went in yesterday to buy brand new phone and we were lucky enough to have a wonderful girl named Kasey help us with the purchase of our phones and she was able to switch everything over to a new phone and it was very delightful to be in there. I just got a phone for my wife from Metro PCS I got lucky with mine, I tried to download some apps, on my wife's phone, and some times a bubble would pop up say my wife's phone was not registered, That it couldn't find the phone number, I went to F airfield mall, and the young lady, said, She had never seen anything like that, so She sent me to Vacaville, the lady said that there was nothing wrong with the phone, that the phone made calls, and received calls what else did I want, I spoke to the Supervisor, who was right next to her, and She said, if I needed to install an app to go to the store, I said I live in San Francisco, then She said that in California, if your phone didn't get a phone number California law, then I said thank you for your help, I congratulate for your service, I will recommend you on yelp, this is why I am doing this. read more

I signed in at the kiosk and was first on the tv screen, an employee walked up to another customer and began to help her. He greeted me when I entered the store and answered all my questions even though it was about 40 min before they close. I would of gave it 5 stars but the girls who sit on the other side had to much chatter going on the converstion was well not the best. They were talking about girlfriends and by that I mean girls that are more than friends. The one girl was talking about how her last boss a a hotel was horriable. My blackberry is two months old. It won't charge and nothing wrong with the battery, I was directed to the corporate store on Elmira road. They told me $35 to replace it even though it's under warranty for a year!!! They had 2 people working the store and a line of customers out the door, this was at 3:45 pm on 15 feb. I think the better business bureau should investigate metro pcs. It's really the worst of the worst when it comes to ripping off the consumer. they take advantage of lower income people, it's a shame how they operate and the law allows it to happen. read more

this is a review for the metro store on ALAMO AND NUTTREE. I went in on the wednesday before christmas to get a phone for my mother, she has had the same phone number since her very first cell phone so i know she would have wanted to keep it. In order to not ruin the surprise and make her go without a phone for a week me and the guy there agreed he would hold the phone and i would come back the day before christmas to get it and turn it on then, that way she was only without a phone over night and hopefully wouldnt catch on. I show up on christmas eve to buy the phone on my lunch break at work. NO PHONE! The guy never held it and they were "sold out" everywhere. So i had to either not get my mother a christmas present or settle for a phone that doesnt even have video (like the other one did) but was the same price. not to mention they charged me a REACTIVATION fee??? NOTHING was reactivated, just switched over to a new phone. When i first walked in there was a kid working the front (maybe about 16 yrs old) i asked about buying a lanyard (sp?) for my own phone and he told me he would give it to me for $10, then rang me up for $12 when i asked about the $10 he just told me about he claimed the $2 was taxes -___________- so apparently at this place sales tax is 20%. Then he told me the computer wouldnt let him do the disount (which is it?? taxes or the computer??) Then the older guy who rang me up for the phone i had to settle for told me he would give me a discount on a case, i didnt get that discount either. I will NEVER EVER go to that metro for anything again, good thing i have tmobile and never have issue like this. this place is a complete scam. thank you for reminding me why i left metro. wish i could give them negative stars read more

Went to this store to buy a refill card. Because my minutes expired that day, they told me my account was locked and they couldn't sell me the card. For a regional store I find this crazy. A manager told me to come back the next day to see if her manager could maybe get it to work. She then told me to go to Walmart to purchase and activate a card. They must not want return customers. I know they didnt care and didn't want to hassle with it because I had a store in Roseville help me in the same situation the month before. It took them only a few minutes.
