Being a first time home buyer, I don't have alot of experiance with this sort of thing. When I…read morefound John online what caught my eye were all the certifications and liscenses he had. This made me very comfortable. When I first called John, he did not pick up but with in 5 min he called back to talk about setting up a an inspection. I was not given alot of time to work with so I asked if we could get it done in the next 48 hours, this was no problem for him. When I met John onsite he was very professional and easy to talk to. He started to work immediatly due to the fact there was going to be alot to cover and inspect. After every section he inspected he came back to walk me and my wife and our parents through what he just inspected. He took his time going through all the details and answered ALL of our questions including ones my parents had. At the end of the inspection he sat down with us to go over all the details of the inspection once again and what he was going to write up in his report. He then went to inform us that the report would be ready that day. We had concern with our foundation and he did not hesitate to explain everything that could be wrong with it. He also offered recommendations on different types of inspectors that we may also benefit from to look into some other matters. His report was very comprehensive and color coded for "defects" and "recommendations". Thank you again John and I highly recommend this gentelman for future inspections. A receptacle in the enclosed patio wasn't working. He didn't seem to know what a in ceiling large vent was for. He didn't point out the corrosive bathroom faucets. The cost of this inspection was at least $200+ more than hiring an independent contractor to do the inspection. I wouldn't use them again. Didn't feel it was worth the extra money.
