I found it so strange. I went to the Floor & Decor shop on Lemay Ferry Rd. and I was overwhelmed with the selection. I looked around a bit and I eventually spoke with an employee named Walter and he offered to assist me. Walter gave us suggestions, options, and best of all, advice on the tile. I want to advise Floor & Decor that you have a solid asset in Walter and I will work with him going forward.

He let us look around on our own, but was there to answer every question we had. He explained the materials, prices, and delivery charge. I said Im aware of that, you told me several times now. I wanted to give my card number as a deposit that I was serious about coming to pay for them IN CASH because I was working on Friday until 9pm. He said he'd mark the listing as pending until Monday. He messaged me later that night and said a different salesperson sold them and they were pending. He said first come first serve. Which said to me they still hadn't been paid for yet by the other person. I said I could come out on Saturday to pay for them in cash, and he said that the store was closed. Online it says by appointment, so why couldn't I make an appointment for Saturday to pay for the cabinets? He never marked them as pending online once I had committed to buying them. It wasn't until that night that the post got marked as pending. 6 hours after he promo them to me. Now I own a business and if someone wanted to use a credit card as a temporary hold for payment the following day, I'd have made that happen for them. I live in a Illinois, work late on Fridays but was willing to drive over the next morning to pay for them in full. He never communicated that 7 others were hustling the cabinets, he never asked anyone if I could put my cc down as a temporary hold to let you know I was serious about purchasing them. And he was a dick at the end, then blocked me because he knew he was in the wrong. I called first thing Monday morning to see if they were available and I was told they were still pending. Meaning STILL NOT PAID FOR. Total BS and a horrible way to run a business! Had it been a good experience I not only would have bought that kitchen cabinet set, but more than likely would have ending up using your company for 2 other kitchen remodels that we have going this year on other properties.
