What a blessing... I really cannot say more. Like, I cannot do this facility and team justice in this review - but I wish I knew women or girls that were in need that I could tell about this amazing place. Long story short - I don't really have support, and other than my son's father - no local support at all. We weren't expecting pregnancy at this time but a surprise slip up (God had a plan) it happened. I somehow stumbled across this resource (like I said... plan) when I hadn't told anyone. Not only did they suggest starting a prenatal (I had no clue where to start), but every step of the way... classes, trainings, ultrasounds, etc. An overwhelming amount of support. I have been with them since a few weeks in... I am 28 weeks now. I don't know what I would have done without this support and resource. Just a blessing, truly. Learning so much in a time when media/Google offers so much "advice" it is great to learn from reputable folks on prenatal and postnatal care. They offer support for mom, baby, and dad. Non-judgmental. Super supportive and caring. I don't know what else to say without going into depth, but I wanted to ensure that they get their deserved recognition and that I pass this onto anyone else in need. I was unexpectedly pregnant and not covered by insurance that would pay the costs of prenatal care, labor and delivery. I had no idea what to do. These people are so kind, and real. They've heard and seen it all, but I didn't feel judged for a second. They take a holistic approach to women's care, including spiritual, which I was impressed by. People are not just numbers, and they never treated me like one. I left feeling empowered, and supported. I was blown away by the amount of programs they offered for expecting mothers (and dads too)! I didn't pay a dime for any of the services I received. There's no comparison between real support, and financially-motivated "support". read more

Wonderful staff! Felt so reassured after my consultation with Vernicia and the nurse Elaine. I got a bunch of information from them and guidance for making my decision. I found this place during COVID's peak; I had just gotten laid off from my job, found out I was pregnant with no health insurance, and pretty much panicking about my financial situation and lack of knowledge with anything regarding babies. I came here for the free ultrasound they offered because I couldn't afford to go to an actual OB-GYN office. What I thought would be a simple ultrasound ended up being so much more. This place is more than just a clinic, it's a full on support group. Everyone here is so warm and welcoming and I feel so safe and comforted whenever I come in. They provided me with helpful information, support, and prayer + even a baby shower with tons of stuff that I needed for my upcoming baby. They were also the ones that gave me information about Medicaid, and that was such a life saver! I went from worrying so much about finances to feeling more confident as an upcoming mother. These people truly care for every women and child's life, and I can't thank them enough for all that they have done for me. If you are ever feeling doubt or fear about your pregnancy, please don't hesitate to come here! They do monthly classes covering a variety of topics ranging from labor to diet to baby safety and etc. plus they also provide one-on-one mentorship. I didn't know that this was a faith-based care center when I made the appointment, but personally I was more comfortable making an appointment at a care center that did not offer abortions on site. (If abortion is the option you decide to pursue, it might be better to attend another clinic offering those services, as the purpose of this center is to encourage adoption or parenting.) I brought my husband and while they took me aside for a time for counseling (leaving him in the lobby); I understood that this was in regards to their privacy policies, though it was nerve-wracking initially. The counselor put me at ease very quickly. Once I had signed permission for my husband to be aware of my medical state and share the information, he was invited into the ultrasound and the meeting afterwards with the nurse and the counselor. They did not hide their joy at seeing a couple committed and excited for their pregnancy. I am encouraged by their counseling offers and we intend to explore the Earn while you Learn program (that gives lessons in various aspects of pregnancy, parenting, etc. while allowing you to earn credits that can be redeemed for maternity and baby items.) Pregnancy can be very stressful, moreso if it's unexpected and unwanted. There are several care centers available and I personally was pleased to find one that aligned closely to my ideals. read more

I would give 100 stars if I could. I was at a place where I just lost my insurance and I was pregnant shortly after. Losing a job and being pregnant at the same time were very stressful. I was devastated as to what I could do for an initial ultrasound and prenatal care. Metro Women's Care provided free ultrasound and thoughtful counseling. You can tell that everyone who works there is genuinely warm and caring. These ladies pray for you if you want and equip you with resources. I could have gone back for prenatal educational and parenting classes, but life got too busy for me to return. They gave me a few warm follow up calls, and after I had my baby, they called to congratulate me. If you are pregnant, and for whatever reasons, you feel stressed and confused, this is a place to go. This is a safe place. You will find professionals who truly listen to you and care for you. read more

It's faith based, but they are not at all pushy or in your face about it. This is a collection of very good hearted, wholesome, caring people that just want to help support parents. I highly recommend them. Nothing but good things to say about them. They were very accommodating of our hectic and changing schedule, my emotional support dog, and they even helped us look for new housing when we had to move. read more

Assist Pregnancy Center is actually a Crisis Pregnancy Center and DOES NOT offer the full arrange of options for people who are pregnant. On their site they even say "We pray that we might triple the number of abortion vulnerable clients we see over the next year." By saying this they show their true agenda that they are not for supporting individual decisions, but instead to force people into carrying the pregnancy to terms. Their site talks about a variety of pro-life events and how you can volunteer to council people in their pregnancies. This means the people you see there would not even be a medical professional who can give accurate information. In addition, they only recently got the ability to do ultrasounds. This means they, for awhile, were only using their fear mongering tactics. IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO FOR ACCURATE INFORMATION. read more

They give a lot of great advise and are focused on helping women in all stages of pregnancy. They helped me understand the pregnancy process that my wife was going through in a very comfortable setting. But most importantly, they helped my child have a great start to life. read more

I called the Assist Pregnancy Center for information and was able to schedule an appointment the day of; the timeliness was magnificent. They assured my boyfriend and I on the phone that he could be involved in the process they took me through, however throughout the entire process I was on my own with the counselor and the nurse. They were very clear with their questions, but would 'forget' or 'mis-write' my plans for the pregnancy from abortion to adoption several times to show me pictures of what my egg probably looked like at the time. Regardless of my stated choice for abortion, there were subtle hints at first and then more bold ones further in towards more ethically thought upon options; this was repetitive. The counselor was very professional and stayed right to the point; at no point did I feel any discomfort or pressure while speaking with just her. The nurse was more comfortable than professional about my motives, where I stood religiously/spiritually (often using the two synonymously despite their range in difference), and often would offer me intimate details about babies in the womb and abortion processes even after my request to take the information home with me and research their material there. She at one point encouraged religious beliefs and then followed it up with the fact that those religious feel more guilt and emotional pain while making the decision I'd already made. When she asked if she could pray for me I'd assumed she meant on her own time until she leaned in, closed her eyes, and began aloud. Throughout the oscillating counselor one-on-one talks and the nurse meets, I would make my request that my boyfriend sit in with me, since we both felt so strongly about our dual-involvement in the process; however, it was not until after the entire process that I was finally offered the option to have him come in from the waiting area to hear everything I'd listened to and experienced already for the hour and a half I was there. The counselor told me their office was due and in for a website update come the end of this week, so perhaps it will be more accurate. This location is totally non-profit and faith-based. If you go in knowing this, your experience will be light and at at the upmost informing, with little trace of disapointment. read more
