The wrong pair was ordered (though i said i wanted the sample they provided which i was told was in my chart) and shipped to me and then i had to call over 8 times to get in touch with someone. Two weeks later I provided my credit card and was told the new contacts would be in. I called 1.5 weeks later and was told they will need my credit card to order. There is a clear disconnect between front and back office and it is difficult to manage when each conversation is repetitive and continues to cause a wrong next step. It is now over 5 weeks since i first ordered my contacts :( this is frustrating. Great clinical care, but be wary when ordering contacts/glasses. I'll likely be looking elsewhere to avoid this experience again.

Dr. Cressey spent more time with me than my previous Optometrist, and took time to find out about my family history and my concerns. She also informed me about Lasik surgery, which I'd been curious about. I said no I'll come down and show you my call list that you did not call me. They told me they were ready, but I had to make an appointment to come pick them up, but I chose to come pick them up with the appointment. No one can fit them to tell me if they're OK. I would have to make an appointment to come back to see the eye doctor so that's another charge , I made the mistake of going back there after not being happy with them. Terrible terrible customer service.!!!!! And I paid triple the amount I would someplace else I don't recommend them. I don't recommend their doctors. I will pick up my glasses and I will bring them to one of the walk-in places in the malls and I'm sure they'll adjust them for me at no charge I went in to get my glasses and the girl at the front desk was rude than she was on the phone. She argued with me, insisted that she called me, but she did not if she had called me yesterday to tell me, my glasses were ready I wouldn't be calling them asking them if they were ready . Very very poor customer service you can smile all you want sitting behind that desk but when you're rude and you challenge your customer and you tell the customer they're wrong you're wrong . To eyecare place where there's no doctors available when you come in to pick up your glasses is ridiculous. They want you to make an appointment to come in and get them therefore they're gonna charge you for that visit.

When we got to my prescription he asked what I paid for contact and I looked it up and he goes "Oh, yeah, but from them" because the online vendor I used was running a special he couldn't match. EVERY OTHER eye doc I've been too up here gave me grief not buying from them but not Dr Ginsberg. He just wanted me to have great care and affordable lenses. I can assure you that if the price difference is nominal in the future, I will definitely just buy from him. Also, they have that imaging machine that takes a picture of your entire eyeball that lets them track changes over time and can more like prevent major issues. Win for that too.

I called to get the price of a contact lens exam, which isn't covered by my insurance. I was quoted…read more$80. They charged me over $132. I said that when I called I was quoted $80, but they didn't care. They told me that contact lens exams start at $80 and said she should have told me that. Whose fault is that? But I'll take that up with the AG's office. I also had a regular eye exam, which was covered by my insurance. When I looked at the prices of the frames, most were between $550 and $750, and that was without the lenses with all the special coatings they were pushing. Then you have to wait after picking out frames because there's only one person that handles the ordering. When it was my turn, she made the comment that she really liked my frames. I said, "Good, put lenses in these frames" and I took the glasses off and handed them to her. (I prescription shades in the car.) The frames I was wearing were much nicer than any that they had. And my glasses only cost me $325 INCLUDING LENSES at Waverly Eye Care in Belmont. I would have gone to Belmont, where they only charge 50 bucks for a contact lens exam, but it was toward the end of the year and they didn't have any appointments before my benefits would expire. (My bad.) I should have known when MyEyeDr was the only outfit that had plenty of appointment times available. It's because they're so wildly overpriced, deceptive, and upsell driven. In addition to all that, the trial contact lenses that they gave me had expired over 7 months prior to my appointment in December, 2025. Is that even legal?
