We just want to share our experience with Metz Air Control in Chino, CA, they serve a wide area in the Inland Empire. We have dealt with them for about 20 years and called them many times for our heating and air conditioning needs. They are quick to respond to our service requests. All the staff and owners are very knowledgeable and professional. When they make an appointment with you, they send email reminders. On the day of the appointment, they send you an email with the name and photo of the employee who is on their way, along with a picture and a little information about the experience of the technician. We recently called them for our annual inspection of our heating unit. The unit is 19 years old, and after their inspection, we decided it is time to replace the unit rather than spend a large amount of money to replace the numerous parts that are wearing out. Metz uses top quality equipment, and we ordered a Trane furnace and added an air purifier system and a thermostat that is Wi-Fi and programmable with the thermostat and our cell phone. The installation team arrived right at the appointed time and promptly got to work. They used equipment to protect the flooring in my home and in no time, they had the old unit out and prepared the space for the new, smaller, and more efficient unit. Again, they were friendly, polite, and professional. The installation went well. They took the time to show us the newly installed unit and identified all the parts, including the air purifying unit and how it works. Then they showed us how to work the new thermostat and how to connect it to the Wi-Fi on our phones. For those of us who are not very tech savvy, that is very much appreciated. Then they asked if we had any questions or concerns. They made sure we had copies of all the paperwork, including their services and the equipment that was installed, as well as the phone numbers to contact them if we should have any questions. I especially want to acknowledge the staff who worked with us this week. The inspection of the existing unit was completed by Armand Adame. He checked every inch of our system, taking photos and internal photos of everything. He sat with us and showed us all the data and photos he had gathered. Armand gave us a very detailed description of what concerns that he noted. We had a choice of replacing some of the equipment or replacing the entire unit. He referred us to the Comfort Care expert, Jorge (George) Hurtado. George provided us with the costs involved in each option, and we decided to purchase a new unit. I suffer from allergies, and I mentioned it to George. He said they have two air purifying units that can be installed on the unit that would purify the air throughout the entire house. Two days later, the installation team arrived. The two technicians were Armando Cervantes and Carlos Calderon. They got right to work, and we just can't tell you how impressed we were with the job they did. We have complete confidence in the work they did. Our 28 year-old A/C and heater unit was not working sufficiently and was in need of replacing. I called 3 highly rated A/C companies that service the Chino area; Metz Air Control being one of the three. Jon Metz came to our home to inspect the old unit and provide us with a couple of pricing options for a new full system. We decided to go with Metz Air because of the pricing and over all value with Jon's quote. I also explained to Jon that we were expecting family members from out-of-state with their two dogs and I was hoping to get my old system to provide us with some cool air until it was convenient to install the new unit. Jon came out again and doctored up our old unit so that we could get some much needed comfort. On the day of the install Jon and the crew arrived at 8:00am just like they said they would. We were introduced to Chris and Dylan who would be installing the new system. Jon showed up to go over a few concerns we had and then Chris and Dylan got to work. I was totally impressed with the systematic and organized way they went about their work. They showed the same level of respect for our home as we do; and that means a lot. All throughout the installation they were informative and professional. If I had a question they would gladly take the time to answer it and make sure I was satisfied with the work being performed. The final install looked like a work of art. I find myself out in the garage and side yard admiring a well built Trane unit and the way it was installed. The entire transaction starting from the first meeting with Jon, to some dealings with the ladies in the office via phone, to our interaction with Chris and Dylan on the installation, was a pleasant experience. I can't praise this business enough. We bought a new heating and air conditioning system and thermostat. When we first contacted them, Brian Metz came promptly to my home and was right on time. He was friendly and courteous. He explained all the air conditioning systems available and asked us pertinent questions about our home; not just its size or age, but how long we planned to live there, etc.. He steered us toward a unit that he felt would fill our needs. He did NOT try to sell us the highest priced ones because he felt we didn't need a real expensive one. He chose a medium priced unit and assured us it would work well for us. His workers showed up right on time. They were efficient and also very friendly. They were obviously experienced. Brian came by to see if everything was going well. IT WAS!!! Both Brian and the crew made sure I understood how everything worked and why. They said if we had any problems to call them immediately and they would come over. About two weeks after they installed my unit, I had a problem with the programming. As busy as they were (summer heat), Brian came over promptly and fixed the problem, explaining to me what to do and setting my controls so it would be easier for me to manage the thermostat. He was patient with me and again said to contact them if I had any more questions/problems. His secretaries were always courteous on the phone and never made me feel embarrassed when I had a problem working the thermostat. Having their business close to me in Chino also is a plus. After 30 years of having a Lennox for an a/c and a furnace, it was time to get the units replaced....the a/c system was old and no longer cooling. Did some research (checked Contractors License Board and yelped); got 3 quotes from businesses. Jon Metz came and sent 3 proposals via email (different models and pricing). We chose Metz Air Control because 1) it has been in the business for long time 2) has high ratings and 3) their pricing was lower compared to another business for the same model. In the heat of summer, Jon was kind to have our Freon charged up at no additional cost to us so we can be comfortable, before they were able to install. He also upgraded our WIFI thermostat at no extra cost. Thank you Jon! We can get our a/c to start and running remotely (from our phone) so we can come to a cool and comfortable home. We had a Trane a/c and furnace installed and ductwork changed to a Mylar R8. The contract included a Gold Protection Plan - for service /maintenance; changing all air registers; city permit and HERS testing. The downside was the installer had to come back twice to do minor corrections so it will pass HERS testing and the City Inspection. When the ductwork was changed in the attic - our floors were covered,and even our clothes covered/protected with plastic. We appreciate the extra care the team took. The entire experience from consultation to installation was the best interaction we've ever had with any service technician or company. An entire assessment of our old air conditioning system was performed and several options were discussed with us without any sales pressure. We had been in need of a new ac system for a few years. We finally searched for a reputable company and Metz popped up with awesome reviews. We thought hmmm...let's check 'em out. We called and our first contact was the voice on the phone, I think Deb. Pleasant and efficient. Good start. She sets up a consultation for us and the owner is who showed up. Impressive. He spoke to my husband and left quite the impression because it would be months later when we decided to pull the cord. When it was time my husband said, "I like that guy, the one that really knew what he was talking about. Remember? He was the owner..." I couldn't remember the name of the company! As a landlord who wants the best for my tenants and my wallet I have found the best of both worlds with Metz Air Control. On a previous home I made the mistake of going with the wrong company. I purchase a good unit at a good price but it took that company almost a year with multiple re-inspections to finally pass inspection. We just had our AC and heating, all of our duct work replaced by Metz Air Control. What I thought would be an inconvenient and messy experience turned into a wonderful experience. Bryn came out and explained everything that was needed along with the cost. Erik, and Armando and another Armando were our "guys" who did all the installation and removal of the old stuff. It took them about 4 1/2 days to do everything which for a 3400 square foot house was amazing. They laid tarps down as they worked to keep my house as clean as possible and vacuumed up after they finished for the day everyday! Our air conditioner was not working as well as it should. We called Metz Air Control a local family owned business to get it summer ready. Nathan came out as scheduled to inspect the system. Several things needed to be done to get it fixed. Nathan gave us a few options to compare with no pressure. My husband and I decided to purchase a new system. We scheduled an appointment to have the new unit installed. We were given a time frame how long it would take to get the job installed which was met. I called Mertz in January for maintenance service. Chris the technician came out and introduced himself very friendly. He immediately went to the heating system to check it out. Found some issues with some of the heating system . He advised us that the heating system was rusting and needed to be replaced. He did say we could wait or replace. We decided to go ahead and replace all the issues that Chris found. Metz was able to give us an appointment two days later. We had two technicians arrived and they introduced themselves and immediately went to work replacing all the necessary rusted heating system. It was a four hour job and they were able to finish it the same day. Both technicians were very courteous and they cleaned up any mess. I would definitely refer Metz to other people. I can't say enough about this family and their commitment to excellence. We recently bought a house that needed some love and attention. The plumbing was a mess and the heater stopped working which was the initial reason for our call. The technicians were professional, transparent and cordial. In this day and age, it is rare to see young adults saying yes sir and no sir, but the staff at Metz are incredibly respectful. The owner met with us and impressed us so much that we are now becoming fast friends, the mutual interest in aviation may have been a contributing factor, LoL! They repaired our air conditioning heater, a lot of outdated plumbing, our dilapidated hot water heater base and plumbing and our ducting which was a complete mess. my condenser stoped blowing cold air after accidentally flooding it with water. I called three other AC places to help me and all I got was we are busy or we are three weeks out. Have used Jon and before him his dad for many, many years to service my a/c and furnace. Based on my previous experience, I turned to Jon to have my HVAC replaced in a second house without even thinking about another estimate. Decided to go with the top of the line Trane ComfortLink matching furnace and a/c. The 2 day+ installation was not easy as the furnace and related components we're in the attic. We did have some glitches and scheduling mishaps but some problems are due to happen. What's important to me is how these things are dealt with and resolved and with this I could not be more pleased. had my heater replaced. Hayden came out to check the unit and showed me what he had found wrong with it. my old unit was terminal. got me a couple of prices- reminded him I was a Veteran and older. Metz did me right on the total price. Installing my unit Was Ryan and Bobby. Two young gentleman who were professional, had great Knowledge of the work. other things that helped me choose Metz was I had seen the technicians around the area always neat and clean. uniforms were without holes. We needed help for two seperate issues we had with our residential units. First visit was completed with John. The problem was identified and the plan explained simply and clearly. He was able to complete the job efficiently and keep the cost down. Pedro was there for us when we needed help a second time. Seperate issue with the other unit. Our air conditioner stopped working on Friday and the temperature outside was well into the 90's. I called multiple air-conditioning companies to try to get someone to come out to repair it; however, no one was able to come out over the entire weekend, except for an individual named Bryan at Metz Air Control.
