The staff at Meuleman's really know their beers. First, they have an amazing selection of local and regional beers. Second, they know a great deal about flavor profiles so can point you in the right direction. I happen to be gluten free and they have a wide selection that keeps me very happy. I have a regular rotation of 6-8 beers which gives me something to choose from depending on my mood. Fine little shop just down the road from Stratton Mountain run by lovely, helpful folks. Great place to pick up local brews. Selection is excellent and includes some imports as well. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and more then capable of providing a good recommendation if you explain what you're looking for. COVID protocols are thorough--you don't fully enter the shop and it's one group at a time. We're big fans! read more

Best beer selection in Southern VT. Husband and wife (I assume?) team is hard to beat. Super friendly and will have an order ready for you when you arrive. Hard to find local brews. Grab a burger at Honeypie or a pizza at Fran's and then get some beers here. Sit outside and enjoy your life. read more

Excellent beer selection (local, US and import craft, including some rare stuff). Owner is very nice and knowledgeable. Plus, you can buy cold beer (tons in bottles or even two on draft) and take it the pizza place next door (Tony's, see my separate review). Important Note: In the off season they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and don't open until noon. Vastly More Important Note: As you may have inferred from my comment above about bringing beer to the pizza place next door, Jamaica, VT does not have an open container law and does have a BYOB policy for restaurants that don't serve alchohol (like Tony's). This means you can buy beer at Meulamans' and enjoy it almost anywhere in Jamaica, VT. Support these people! read more

This place is amazing. We just happened to see Meulemans' Craft Draughts on a map at our hotel, and since it was only 2 miles away from our hotel and on the way to where we were going for the day, we had to stop in. Meulemans' is easy to miss - in fact, we drove past it because it's such a tiny place, and the pizza place next door looks like the only thing there. Still, we turned around, and it was well worth it. The selection in this place is incredible. When they say "Craft Draughts," they mean it. There were two beers on tap that you could fill growlers with, but there were tons of craft beers lining the walls and filling a refrigerator to the brim. Every beer looked amazing, and you could tell from the selection alone that the owner is both knowledgeable with his beers and thoughtful about his selection. There were beers we loved, beers we always wanted to try, and rare beers at less than half the price we paid for them at bars. My boyfriend and I were the only people there early on a Saturday morning, and we were basically gushing over the selection and prices. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and he answered all our beer questions. On top of the beer, Meulemans' also carries a number of local cheeses, cider, and cider donuts. We didn't grab any donuts because we were all set with breakfast, but Meulemans' had Taylor Farms' maple smoked gouda, which Taylor Farms themselves were out of when we visited the day before. We had to grab a wedge of it. Convenience, local cheese, great prices, and all the craft beer I ever wanted - how could I ask for more? read more

This place is awesome. Greg and Pat, the owners are super cool and friendly and I ALWAYS stop here when I come up to our ski house in Jamaica. They always have 2 local beers on tap, always fresh, always delicious. And they fill growlers for you. Also tons of other interesting beers in bottles from all over the world. This place has a really good selection of beer! We ended up picking up lots of 750ml bottles. I personally bought 2 six packs from Shed Brewery (no longer made at the brewpub in Stowe) and 2 six packs from Trout River Brewing. The cost per 6 pack was about 8.50$ which for a microbrew is not bad at all. Others in my group, were very happy with their selection of Belgian sour beers and other items. The employee was also very nice and recommended a local eatery for dinner. read more

This is a tiny little place with a surprisingly good beer selection. There are two taps with which you can fill growlers with beers I ain't never seen before. I can also attest that they are probably fresh as we saw three people come in and fill up growlers during our stay. The selection is small, but very curated. The cheapest beer is Narragansett. Other than that there is plenty from Rock Art, Amager Bryghus, To Ol, Mikkeller, Evil Twin, Jack's Abby, Foolproof, Crop, Switchback, and Brasserie de la Senne. Basically, this is not the most local-oriented selection, but there are certainly things I saw here that I didn't see in Brattleboro Food Coop. The guy working there was wicked nice. Prices are reasonable (Mikkeller AK Alive was $13 for comparison purposes). No complaints. Plus there is a large selection of local cider and mead. The five stars is for the area, as this is the best you are gonna get within miles... in the world, not quite. read more

One of the best craft beer and cider shops you will find anywhere. It is easily the best I have found in southern VT. If you want cheap beer for your ski party, don't go here. This is for beer people looking for the next great thing or their hard to find old favorite. Plenty of local brews, but don't think this is just about VT. It is a worldwide selection. This is what a beer shop should be like. I stopped in here after doing research for a craft beer shop near Stratton. After discussing the types of IPA's I prefer with the woman working there, she walked me through the store and identified beers I might like. I finally opened several of the beers last night and she nailed it! I highly recommend this shop for beer enthusiasts and will stop in the next time I'm at Stratton. I just wish this shop wasn't 400 miles away. read more

This is a hidden gem tucked away on the boarder of Jamaica and Rawsonville. I live about 20 minutes away and am always going there for unique beers. I also take all my out of town guest there. Not only do they have a super selection of the best craft beers you could ever find, they also have cider, cheese and local made tidbits. The owners, Greg and Pat are the most friendly, knowledgeable store owners in the area. It is worth the trip. read more
