I got a steal burrito and jarrito for lunch. It was about $20. A little expensive but the food was good.

The staff were very kind to my children and service was attentive, the busboy/girl, waiter, and bartender were all quick to help whenever we needed something. We tried the brisket nachos for the first time and they were delicious. The jalapeños were a bit too spicy for my taste, but the dish overall was still great. I had the shrimp tacos again, which were juicy and flavorful. My husband tried the asada tacos but felt they weren't as flavorful as the churrasco he had during our last visit, though he did enjoy the cilantro lime rice. For the kids, we ordered chicken tenders, white rice, and tostones. The tenders were soft and easy to eat, and the kids loved them. Happy hour margaritas were $10. I had the passionfruit on the rocks and it was delicious. My husband switched from a frozen mango (too sweet) to mango on the rocks and liked it much better. Bonus for families: the bathrooms are spacious and they have changing tables. Overall, a great experience and we'd come back again.

I ordered the following items: * Passionfruit Frozen Margarita * Shrimp Ceviche * Churrasco (8oz Skirt Steak) * Black Beans * Cilantro Lime Rice * Tres Leches Cake The frozen drink tasted amazing. The shrimp ceviche was tasty and fresh. The skirt steak was seasoned and grilled to perfection. The rice and beans, however, were both underwhelming. The flavor was lacking in both side dishes. I ordered two sides of the Roja Ahumada salsa to enhance each bite. The cake was decent; the taste reminded me a bit of a pound cake. The restaurant's ambiance was incredibly gorgeous. The staff members were hospitable, attentive, and kind. All in all, the entire experience was up to par. I'd say that I wish the menu offered more dishes, as the options seemed limited. I would still come here again in the future.

We chose to sit outside in the cute patio area that had a cute little swing and was just so colorful. I loved all of the decor in the restaurant & the food was just as good as the decor was, thats the best part. I loved when the setting matches the food quality. The prices were very decent, and the food is made fresh. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, chips and guacamole, and loaded nacho fries for my kid. It was all so delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The ladies working were pretty patient and provided good customer service. Restaurant was also very clean. Must try if you like mexican!

It's a great place to grab a quick bite while shopping at the plaza, or before/after catching a movie at Regal cinema which is in the same complex. Sombrero Tacoria applies the fast-casual ethos of chain takeout places with a proper dine-in component that's aesthetically pleasing. The interior is clean, cheerfully decorated, and pristine. In warmer weather, you can also eat on the chic and comfortable outside patio. The food is fresh and tastes good. The birria tacos, their signature item, is pretty awesome. And the child and I always enjoy their quesadilla. While I favor Chipotle's bowls more, this is a much nicer dining experience. The horchata and homemade lemonade are both great. Service is quick, and if you order in, they'll bring the food to your table. For takeout, there are also self order kiosks if you'd rather not order at the counter. Over the summer there was a live DJ on Friday evenings, bringing a festive atmosphere to the restaurant.

The service was impeccable…read more The decor was spartan and might remind you of an authentic restaurant off the beaten path in Mexico. Worn wood tables and admirably sturdy chairs. Lighting was stellar and acoustics good due to music loudness and bit more than for my liking. The portions of food were average and not over sized with nicely proportioned ingredients. Nachos ingredients were not speckled on top of the chips but more in dollops to the side but for jalapeños. Maybe I missed it, but not so much cheese. My taco salad bowl was brining with shrimp and chicken and both were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The cap of cheese was pleasant and tasted just fine.

My family and…read moreI came here randomly while passing through the town on our way home from Tarrytown, and were blown away. Don Chuy's is a hole in the wall, a true diamond in a very quiet town. We came on a Saturday night and it was empty, so we got a table quickly and the service was super fast! The ingredients used are high quality and fresh. Portions were large and we ended up taking home a full order because we were stuffed. I can't pick a favorite dish because everything was literally perfect. What We Had: 1. House Chips: came warm and toasty, with flavorful salsa 2. Nachos: large portion with loads of toppings 3. Sweet Plantains: BEST sweet plantains we've ever had. They were soft on the inside and melt in your mouth, with a perfectly crispy and caramelized exterior. 4. Taco Bowl Salad: The chip bowl itself was crispy and delicious, and it came with a delicious cilantro sauce that was slightly sweet. The guac that came with it was tangy and so incredibly fresh. 5. Chicken Burrito & Steak Chimichanga: chock full of toppings. The chimichanga had a crunchy seared tortilla and was absolutely fire. 6. Churros: they came piping hot out of the fryer with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. I was already stuffed but these were WORTH IT! 7. Horchata: my brother really liked his drink. The vanilla and spices were perfectly balanced against the creaminess. The prices are extremely reasonable and worth it. The waitress was friendly, and the owner Gustavo was extremely personable. His family owns the restaurant, but had to go back to Mexico due to medical reasons and he is running the place by himself. They get some takeout orders, but ever since COVID, have been quiet inside. If you get the chance to try this restaurant, you NEED to come! This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant, and even though we live an hour away from it, we will 1000% be back!

This restaurant has been around for about…read moresix years, and I'll admit I had previously dismissed it because it's located in an outer strip of stores where Harmon and Bed Bath & Beyond once were. I truly wish I hadn't--because I was thoroughly impressed with the food, the décor, the service, and the extensive menu. There are so many dishes I want to come back and try. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant impressed us with its vibrant, themed décor and incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Warm tortilla chips with chunky salsa and glasses of water were brought to our table immediately after we sat down, which was a great start. They have a full-service bar, and while they don't offer frozen cocktails, we honestly didn't miss them. I had a coconut margarita, and my husband enjoyed a passionfruit rum cocktail. He doesn't drink tequila, so I asked if rum could be substituted, and they were more than happy to accommodate. He chose a Tajín rim, while I opted for sugar instead of salt. Both drinks were strong, flavorful, and served in really nice, heavy margarita glasses. We both chose specials from the House Special Grill, and wow--what a great decision. My husband had the skirt steak and jumbo shrimp, served with a creamy corn salsa, and he loved every bite. I ordered the grilled steak with sautéed onions, homemade tortillas, cactus pad (nopales), rice, and beans. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. We ended the night on a high note with dessert--one of the best flans I've ever had--paired with a glass of hot Mexican coffee. Absolutely delicious. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming service, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The food is top quality and service is excellent. the restaurant is also quite well decorated for such a miniscule place. The only caveat keeping this review from being five stars is the price. Mexican fare is known for being hearty, large portioned and affordable and having now patronized this establishment twice, I can say it is two of the three. The lofty price tag will unfortunately keep me from becoming a regular. Still, it is a nice treat once in a blue moon. Good show, overall. Fare: 5/5 Price: $$$
