I've been meaning to come here since I moved up the road. So when my girl said let's do brunch up by me I thought it was the perfect time to try it out. Great customer service everyone was so friendly. Food came out pretty fast and was nice and hot. I go the crunch wrap and my friend got the birria quesadilla which she said were delicious. I will be coming back here to more of the menu. It's a smaller place and it did get packed pretty quickly on a Sunday around 1. But that didn't bother me none. Visiting the area and I am hooked on this place! The food is excellent, always fresh. Service is very good and food comes out quick. Can sometimes get loud in there when crowded but usually it's been fine. Good music playing and they have late hours too. My favorite is the smoked corn and field greens salad, guacamole, sweet plantains and chicken tacos on soft corn tortillas. GF options too. I have eaten here multiple days in a row, and even twice in one day. update - tried the chicken tortilla soup and can't wait to go back for more! I live close to here. I like Mexican food. Which is why I keep ordering from here and visiting in store. I love nachos. Please. For the love of god. Stop Serving Stale Tortilla chips In Your Nachos. That's it. I've given it like 7 chances and 4/7 of those times they're stale. I have been here/ordered from here at least 30 times. Seriously. I ordered cod fish tacos battered and fried and they were crispy and delicious. They also offer the fish tacos sauteed. They top them with red cabbage slaw, guacamole, homemade salsa, cilantro, and radishes. We also ordered the sidewinder fries which are served with 2 homemade sauces and ketchup. They are not my favorite and a bit greasy. The portion is good for a few to share. The veggie burrito is also a solid choice here. It's a good size and filled with Rice, black beans, guacamole, salsa, lettuce, jicama, red cabbage, grilled corn, radishes and cilantro. It's a modern take on Tex-Mex with a colorful retro vibe in the restaurant. The service was good. The food was alright. It's good for what it is--simply, Americanized tacos with some other influences such as the pork belly tacos. And don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with that, but I would never claim this place to be an authentic Mexican place as other reviews have mentioned. I also would like to note that the shells were a bit cold while eating as well as the flavor lacking, especially in their more fusion tacos like the pork belly one. I just found this place and really love the fish tacos. They are delicious and fun, and I like being able to walk around Bronxeville after eating. It would be even better if the music weren't as loud, and if they had more tables inside and outside. My husband would prefer it if the drinks were cold, but I don't mind that they are warm. I have been a big fan of Taco Projects since I luckily found it on Uber Eats. Now it is my go too when I get home from the City after work and need a special treat. My favorite - so far - are the Tacos - beef and chicken my son is a CIA graduate and beyond picky in what he will eat. Came for a visit over the weekend and we ordered from you. I've been here at least twice now and it just gets better and better. After trying the yonkers location, I wondered if the food was consistent in the various locations. I had the fish tacos and on another visit I tried the shrimp burrito. As I said in my review for the other location, I adore the fact that they have seafood options. The fish was crispy and delightful and it was easily one of best tasting fish tacos I've had and I've had a great deal of those. The shrimp burrito is incomparable to anything I've tried. Everyone that knows me, knows tacos are my life. Any place that serves tacos, burrito bowls, nachos, etc. are immediately on my radar and right up my alley. I've been wanting to come here for a while, I've heard great things from friends and don't know what took me so long. This easily became one of my favorite spots in Westchester when trying it for the first time recently. The steak burrito bowl was perfect to me. The steak was seasoned, along with the beans and all of the other ingredients added to the bowl. Same with the pulled pork nachos. The pulled pork had the perfect bbq taste and paired super welll with the rest of the ingredients. They are now serving brunch which is great! The avocado toast was really delicious- I deff would have preferred it was on a diff bread then rye but that doesn't change the fact that this is a totallllll 5 star place! read more

I got the pork belly tacos and they were generously sized for lunch and proportioned well with a bit more pork belly than you might expect--perfectly crisped and appointed with pineapple and cilantro. Called and order 2 tacos to go.... the pork belly and the shrimp. Order was ready quickly for a Saturday.... less than the 15 minutes it took me to drive there. I appreciate that an order is 2 but they allow you to mix and match. Both tacos were delicious. Very flavorful. The pork belly was complimented by pineapple and the shrimp mango. My only thought is I wish I was offered the choice of corn or flour tortillas and the option to have my shrimp grilled or deep fried. Service was great tho. The layout is weird though because the cashier to order is in the middle and then you have a weird hall space (where I guess you can wait for your order) and the kitchen window. But some tables are located in that back area and look uncomfortable and gloomy because the team comes and goes with bags to go and others are assembled in that space too. The food was good but it was not worth the price at all; we ordered a variety of burritos, bowls, tacos and avocado and chips. I also ordered flan for dessert. While we waited we ordered chips and salsa which as you can see was basically a pico de gallo super liquid with no flavor - I hard to order salt and I was really close to also ask for some lemon. Used to enjoy coming here for quick food and drinks. It was a nice vibe and never had to worry about not finding a seat. I ended up getting sick after eating chicken tacos..thought maybe it was just something earlier in the day. Returned a few weeks later and forgot about the chicken incident..got sick again and worse, and the person I was with also got sick. Have not been back since. The last time I was in Bronxville I noticed that Taco Project had opened. Being a fan of tacos, I made a mental note to try it whenever I found the right opportunity. That time came the other night when my friend and I were looking to catch up and grab some dinner. Located in the heart of Bronxville, this is actually one of three Taco Project locations in Westchester (the other two are in Yonkers and Tarrytown). The outside is kind of unassuming but the inside is quite nice. It has that raw, modern aesthetic with exposed brick, simple tables/chairs/stools, and splashes of color. The setup is that you order at the counter first, then find a seat and have your food served to you. The menu had typical Mexican spot offerings: tacos, burritos, bowls, and a selection of margaritas. I wanted tacos, so I honed in on that section. They had a number of types but I decided to go classic and get beef. The sidewinder fries sounded fun so I also got those, and a pineapple margarita to complete my experience. While the tacos were a nice and filled pretty generously, I found the beef to be too salty (and kind of greasy). The sidewinder fries were named so because it looked like the potato was cut with a peeler-like thing so they kind of looked like shavings (see my pic, it's hard to explain). Anyway, they were just fine - the shape was probably the most interesting thing. They were served with ketchup, sour cream, and this sauce which kind of had a Thousand Island-like taste to it. The pineapple margarita was just fine, not the most exciting I've had but not the worst. Service was fast and friendly. I think Taco Project will do good in Bronxville, albeit they need to adjust flavors and spices slightly in order to be in that four-star caliber. Neverheless, I would be open to returning - if anything they've brought a more unique concept to the Bronxville food scene. read more
