    Camarones a la Diabla

Met up with friends here and it checked all the boxes for a lively night out. The restaurant was crowded, but with a reservation we were seated without any wait. Located right across from the train, parking can be metered nearby or in the Kensington Garage, which makes it manageable for the area. The energy is upbeat and social, a great setting for catching up over drinks. Their cocktail program stands out, and the Spicy Margarita delivered with a nice balance of heat and flavor, easy to see why they've earned recognition for it. For dinner, I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla, shrimp in a bold red pepper sauce with white beans and bok choy. The dish had a good kick without overpowering the flavors. Around the table, everyone enjoyed their meals, and when the bill came, it felt like a solid value for the quality and experience. Service was attentive but relaxed, giving us space to enjoy the night without feeling rushed. A great spot for a group dinner with friends and definitely one I'd return to.

This is my second time here. I love this place! The service is always good and the food so flavorful. There is something for everyone. On my second visit (twice now for brunch) I stayed true to the french toast. It is not your typical one: it is not too sweet and has fruit, seeds, and maduros (sweet plantains) in it. Very nice mix of flavors. I will definitely be going back! I need to try the dinner menu.

After my daughter's hooding ceremony on Thursday, we came to have dinner with family. We got seated in the "cabana" which is outside and the ambiance was absolutely beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. Our server was awesome- she was kind and provided great recommendations. We ordered a little of everything. Ceviche and , guacamole to start. We tried the tacos, flautas and a beet salad. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend

First time at La casa in bronxville and I loved it! It's so cute! They have a brunch option for $30 bottomless - if that's the vibe you're on! Started off with the tortilla soup - which is the best tortilla soup I've had in a very long time! The cheese and avocado was the game changer! I can have this soup every single day! The Esquites were perfectttttttt. My friend ordered the flautas which she loved and I ordered the shrimp quesadillas- I little underwhelming. Nonetheless can't wait to return for date night!

I had a recent dining experience at La Casa Bronxville and I was seriously surprised by how my experience this time had changed from the usual 5 star to this 3 star experience. When they seat us they usually give us chips and the two sauces that I really love and they forgot all about the sauces. When we ordered the entree I got the steak tacos and there's two per order. It isn't labeled as an app so I was surprised by how small the tacos were and how little they put into it. I thought that there would either be three tacos, they would put more in them, they would add a rice and beans side, or they would just label it is an app. For two tiny tacos it sure cost more than I was expecting especially if you can get more food for the same price at other locations. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food so I'm happy that they did. I just didn't expect to leave the restaurant hungry. That was kind of a letdown and not something one should expect from a restaurant.

Food is amazing, the menu features traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service and pleasant staff. Came here on a Thursday evening, it was not as busy. For cocktails, my husband had a margarita and I had the lychee martini. Our drinks were tasty and strong. We shared the appetizers and ordered the guacamole and chips and esquites. Everything was so fresh and delicious. For my entree, I had the tacos bisteca and my husband had the enchiladas verdes and ended our night with the tres leches cake for dessert. It was a perfect date night and I look forward to coming back soon.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Their outdoor dining is covered and very nice to dining. Their food is excellent, as it's kind of like a high end new Mexican place. We were there for Sunday brunch and everything was great, except the waiter was a little slow to come check on us. But it's understandable because how busy they must be, and we were seated outside.

Known for having one of the best margaritas in all of Westchester, La Casa is not only serving up exceptionally balanced and tasty margaritas but also some delicious dishes! Started with the guacamole and chips which was served with a trio of spicy, tangy and herbaceous sauces - as solid as you could expect because after-all, you can't be considered a solid Mexican eatery without great guac. For the entree, we ordered the Costillas (pork ribs) which were richly flavored with Pibil seasoning. Now for the acclaimed margaritas, we tried the Hibiscus, Tamarind, Mango and Coconut versions. Without hesitation I can say that they went 4-for-4. All perfectly balanced and flavorful without overpowering the tequila. Definitely worth the trip up to Bronxville!

We were easily able to make a reservation for Friday night, and although it was poor weather, we sat in the cabanas, which were cute. The heated lamp at our original table was not working, so our waiter was able to switch us to another table which made a difference, but it was so cold outside.! Our waiter, Kenneth, was very friendly, attentive and helpful. We ordered chips and guacamole - which was really good. The guacamole tasted amazing. We ordered another bucket of chips. . We waited quite some time for our food to come out at a little too long for my liking, but it was busy inside so I can imagine there was a lot of food being prepared. For our dinner, we ordered the mahi-mahi entrée, salmon entrée, and chicken tacos with a side of rice and a side of maduros My brother and mother enjoyed their food. My dish was ok. The salmon was a bit undercooked. However, t quinoa, pico de gallo avocado, and asparagus was pretty good though. Honestly, the waiter made me raise my rating a little bit. It wasn't horrible, but I also I'm not in a rush to return.

food and drinks were very tasty and our servers were super attentive! the space was much larger than i was expecting , definitely somewhere i'd come back with a big group

This place makes a mean marg! Truth be told I didn't order the most Mexican dish on the menu, but it was flavorful and fresh. My friends all enjoyed their food and drink as well. The service was great, and we were a large group splitting the check multiple ways. The ambiance was upscale, but not too formal for a fun night out with coworkers.

I've come here a several occasions, most recently with my Goddaughter over sangria and food. I had their salmon while my goddaughter had their skirt steak. Everything was delicious in addition to their outstanding service and ambience. I usually come here whenever I'm in Bronxville.

    Ensalada de Otono - tasty

Some girlfriends and I came on a Friday night. It was busy! Trendy (for Westchester) vibe. I got the frozen mango margarita to start. It could have been stronger, but I appreciate that it wasn't crazy sweet. I was surprised by how small my carnitas tacos were, but they were super moist and flavorful. I also got the Ensalada de Otono. I should have asked for dressing on the side, but it was a nice salad with lots of different textures. We started with the guac and three salsas. It was a great way to start. I'll be back!

The happy hour cocktail menu was limited, however we thought we would try something new and ordered one of the featured drinks- but they were out of the ingredients so only one of us was able to enjoy a featured cocktail and I ordered an espresso martini and my daughter ordered a Cosmo. The drinks were delicious, as was the food. We ordered several dishes and enjoyed all of them. The service was terrific as well and for that reason I would certainly recommend stopping in. However, I do feel that $24 for an espresso martini was a bit steep and $8 for 3 wings is NOT normal happy hour pricing. The Philly eggroll was tasty - but it was 1 egg roll for $9. We do enjoy frequenting establishments all over NYC and Westchester and we certainly don't mind paying but I suppose I just would NOT market it as a happy hour. Other than that thought- we enjoyed the ambiance and the staff was great.

The drinks were great, the food was killer, and I kinda wish we were in town longer to try more of it!

However, things all of a sudden halted for me the 2nd the bartender told my date they had to order something despite me ordering a $15 cocktail. My immediate thought was to say, "Okay, we'll be on our way then." I didn't like that my date was pressured into ordering something. THEN she hits us with "cash only." Ugh. The cocktails. She was majorly pushing these concoctions she'd made up and said every single cocktail was $15, so we might as well go with the boozier one (as opposed to what we wanted which was something simple like gin & tonic), so we relented. They were OK. Would never order again, though. Other than the desperation and pushiness of the bartender, the ambiance was great! Fun clientele and gothy decor. If she had just eased up, I would honestly have this place be my go-to bar in town as opposed to never wanting to go again. Shame.

This restaurant has been around for about…read moresix years, and I'll admit I had previously dismissed it because it's located in an outer strip of stores where Harmon and Bed Bath & Beyond once were. I truly wish I hadn't--because I was thoroughly impressed with the food, the décor, the service, and the extensive menu. There are so many dishes I want to come back and try. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant impressed us with its vibrant, themed décor and incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Warm tortilla chips with chunky salsa and glasses of water were brought to our table immediately after we sat down, which was a great start. They have a full-service bar, and while they don't offer frozen cocktails, we honestly didn't miss them. I had a coconut margarita, and my husband enjoyed a passionfruit rum cocktail. He doesn't drink tequila, so I asked if rum could be substituted, and they were more than happy to accommodate. He chose a Tajín rim, while I opted for sugar instead of salt. Both drinks were strong, flavorful, and served in really nice, heavy margarita glasses. We both chose specials from the House Special Grill, and wow--what a great decision. My husband had the skirt steak and jumbo shrimp, served with a creamy corn salsa, and he loved every bite. I ordered the grilled steak with sautéed onions, homemade tortillas, cactus pad (nopales), rice, and beans. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. We ended the night on a high note with dessert--one of the best flans I've ever had--paired with a glass of hot Mexican coffee. Absolutely delicious. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming service, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!
