Went there for Cinco De Mayo and server did not explain drink specials. I ordered a skinny margarita and was not informed the price that was $24.99 until we got the bill which is outrageous especially for Cinco De Mayo. My friend didn't get the right quesadilla and we never received the cheese dip we ordered. I understand being busy but not explaining specials and 1 drink being almost the same price as 2 meals is crazy. I got my drinks.....a house margarita was 17.99. I didn't even look because a marg is usually 7-12 dolllars. Sometimes even less than 5. I live in Nashville and there isn't a single restaurant where a house margarita is 18 bucks. There is no way a Mexican restaurant should be charging 20 bucks for a shot of bottom shelf tequila. I bet the bottle of Montezuma doesn't even cost 20 dollars. Don't go to this restaurant. They are completely ripping you off. The food is better than fast food but paying 70 dollars for 2 drinks, tacos, and a tip. You will feel like you're being taken advantage of. read more

We've had quite a few new Mexican places pop up, and this one just tastes bland in comparison. The others also have more diverse menus. Los Arcos is better tasting overall. Besitos has a real San Diego style Cali burrito, chiliquiles. El Hurache Loco has tinga and pambazo. El Agave has an amazing salsa bar. Lindo has just gotten so boring in comparison, and the refried beans taste like came from a can. read more

I'm not from the Oxford area, but I ALWAYS make sure to stop here if I'm in the area! It's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! The staff is always so nice (especially Anna) and the atmosphere is just right, not too casual but not too fancy/themed either. Due to COVID, they have also opened a patio area on the side of their building, which is great if it's warm outside. The margaritas are always good, especially the top shelf margarita. They have a few different sized to pick from, and use nice, heavy margarita glasses. I love how they are garnished with oranges for a little sweetness. My absolute favorite Mexican dish is the Texas Pollo Loco. It used to not be on the menu, but now it is. It is rice with chicken, steak and shrimp and fajita vegetables (even includes broccoli, which is awesome) all topped with cheese dip. I really like the meat quality and the shrimp is always cooked very well. This is one dish that I wish every Mexican restaurant would serve! Will be back soon! read more

Quaint Mexican spot located in the Oxford Exchange. We went on a Friday night around 430 and it was already pretty busy for dinner. We were seated right away and the service was friendly and efficient. They had a great selection of spirits, including delicious margaritas! The decorations inside are some of the prettiest I've seen - they have lit up stars hanging from the ceilings! I decided to order the tilapia which was fresh and cooked to perfection. The beef Tamales were really good it reminded me of a Spanish lasagna I could eaten 10 of those tamales . With the Tamles, steak and lamp decor this place in my books would of been an easy 5 stars however the other dish I tried was the chicken Flautas. This is a regular dish I like to order. Here is was fried in a corn tortilla and the chicken inside was bland and very dry. It was eatable but not what I'm accustomed to for a real delicious plate of Flautas. I will throw out there this could be pregnancy talking but their sprite was sooo good. It was strong carbonated and sweet enough. Very balance! I drank it like a fish. This was a great little Mexican joint to stop at on our way through town. Chips were warm and fresh, guacamole was good, my enchiladas were great too! The kid's quesadilla was cut into perfect little triangles for tiny hands! My wife stated "man if we lived closer we would be here all the time." I have came to this establishment many a time, but one in particular stands out to me. Picture this; 2019, no masks, no COVID, no fear. We simply ate Mexican food and enjoyed ourselves. Excellent service and food: enchiladasa verde and the shrimp/ mushroom, and loved decor

Really pretty fantastic, and incredibly reasonable prices. We stopped here for dinner when in town, and they have a very good menu with lots of variety, and some interesting dishes that are not the normal "tex-mex" food. I got something like a chimichanga with beef in it, and a nice cheese sauce on top. The beef was tasty and tender, and the sides were good (and not huge in size, which is nice). The chips and salsa at the beginning were also very good. I asked for some hot salsa and they gave me something smoky that was probably chipotle -- not that hot, but tasty. The best thing is that my bill was about $11 for dinner. Incredible value. I would definitely stop here again when I'm back in town. read more
