Oh my gosh I literally cried from laughing while we were at dinner here. Hands down one of the funniest experiences ever. I'm so mad because I forget our waitress's name but she was such a jokester she had us CACKLING. Made the experience that much better. She came out with a megaphone to sing happy birthday to someone and I actually died. Also my waffle spelled out Be Happy in whipped cream it was adorable!! Best Waffle House ever. read more

Service here was amazing, we were constantly checked on before and after food arrived. We were a party of 7 and they seated us fairly quick. Beware that they only have Walk-Up Service between 12am-6am, all orders are to-go only during this time. Waffles were decent, they're quite thin and not much crisp but good. I had the waffle the way it was, didn't add any syrup and it's slightly sweet on its own. We also tried chocolate chip waffles, asked for it to be crispier but seemed like the original way is the way to go. Delmonico Steak Dinner -ordered my steak medium and it was just right, steak was quite greasy in my opinion. Loved that the hash brown came out so crispy. Papa Joe's Pork Chop Dinner -pork chop was quite dry and not flavorful at all. Cheesesteak & Cheese Eggs Breakfast -cheesesteak was quite dry. They are open 24 hours! Came in for a late dinner about 10pm after arriving to our hotel nearby. One of the few establishments open this late. Small restaurant but plenty of seating with a jukebox! It's a good deal for the price. Hash browns were good-I've never had them where they are all in the same shredded shape! My bf got a waffle and it was so thin and didn't look that great-but I tried it and it was very good! I should've gotten that! My bfs orange juice tasted a bit off but the waitress was kind enough to replace it. I also got a side of gravy to top off my biscuit. It was good. My bacon was a bit burnt and they did offer to give me a new batch while handing it over to me, but I felt bad to switch it and waste food. This was not the best breakfast I've had but again, for the price-it was good! And the workers were very kind. I would come back for the waffle for sure. read more

We ate here last night. The employees were joyful, funny and friendly. The lady behind the counter caught us off guard when she asked "do you have reservations?" Too funny. Our waiter, Kenny, was fabulous!! He made sure everything was great for us. He even made us fresh coffee, which was very good! We were well taken care of. Our breakfast was delicious and cooked perfectly and our order was exactly how we ordered it. Compliments to the cook!! We're staying at the Westgate next-door to the waffle house. We went there late at night. I have to tell you I was surprised the food was really good. It was really fast the bacon I don't know what kind they use, but it was excellent and it wasn't salty the waffle really did taste homemade and the blueberries were excellent. This establishment shows how easy it is to follow CDC guidelines during a pandemic while serving good, inexpensive food fast! Everyone has masks including customers, social distancing is enforced, and gloves are worn as needed. Denie was our waitress and even with a mask on, you knew she was friendly! We ordered three items á la carte , but she saved us $1 by combing them into one order. She earned another $1 in her tip! Our food was perfect: fluffy waffle, bacon cooked just right, delicious grits, excellent scrambled eggs, and toast tasted great with jam. While we were eating, staff was hustling. They also worked with precision and as a team. Down the street, we were going to have egg sandwiches for about $5.15 each at a fast food restaurant that had no seating inside. We are so glad we drove another 4 min. to Waffle House!! We got a great breakfast with more food for a little more money and we were able to sit and eat leisurely. Wow! Do I have an abundance of things to say about my experience at Waffle House! Drenched in sweat from the beach, I stumbled into Waffle House this afternoon for some respite from the sun and some good ol' southern hospitality. I was welcomed warmly by Sandy, who quickly brought my food over after I ordered and continued to take care of me the whole time. The chocolate chip waffle especially was divine (see attached, I devoured it). Love it or Hate it, but we always enjoy the service and food at the many WH we have visited over the years. We arrived on a Saturday morning in which they were busy but we immediately found seats at the counter for the two of us. We ordered an egg breakfast platter and a side of pancakes to share, again the food was very good and for the price you cannot beat. Yikes I hate to do it but this place was nasty. I used to eat at WH all the time on road trips and I always loved the consistency. Unfortunately this one missed the mark in a big way. Cheesy eggs were brown and rubbery. Hash browns were super greasy. Sausage was smashed and tough. The chocolate milk was great and the server was really nice. There was also a "friend of the staff" making a huge scene with her kid, right next to me, and engaging the staff, who she seemed to know, and that made it extra-impossible to enjoy any aspect of this breakfast experience. And I was damn near starving when I walked in. Finished 50% of my meal and left. read more

We got what we wanted--a quick, filling, inexpensive dinner. Their tables should be bigger to fit everything. Our server Ashley was good. I ordered scrambled eggs, grits and toast. Hubby had sausage, waffle, hash browns and two eggs. Their orange juice came in a large glass with free refills. Nice! They were installing security cameras, so it was noisy and annoying while we were trying to talk and eat. Plenty of parking just off a busy street. read more

Wear a jacket this week lace was freezing cold at 7am. It's your typical WH. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was made exactly as I ordered it and fairly quickly. I got it to go but got a chance to sit in the dining area to wait. It looks a little run down but most WH places are kind of that way. This was my first time ever to any Waffle House and I was really excited to try this restaurant out. Well I have to say that the food was good but the waitress, absolutely horrible and totally unprofessional! I knew from the beginning that our experience would not be a good one when we told her that we were going to do separate checks and she rolled her eyes at us!! Really?? We were only a party of five with just three separate checks!! If she couldn't handle that then she shouldn't be a server!! Then she repeatedly asked us what we ordered and who's check we were going to be on!! She was so confused that I literally wanted to get up and grab her tab and write the damned order myself!! It took her so many tries to finally get our (very simple, since the menu is small) order right!! At this point my blood pressure was skyrocketing!! Why we didn't get up and leave was because we heard the food was great. When the food came out the waitress stood with each plate and yelled out who had what and when we would say who's it was she just stood there and waited for US to reach out and take the plate from HER instead of placing it in front of us like a normal waitress would do!! Plus a normal experienced waitress would never ask her customers who had what, ever!! Like I said the only good thing about this place was the food and that was it! Hands down the best place to get a late night meal. I went here on a vacation a couple months ago. When I tell you it felt like the twilight zone it felt like the damn twilight zone.
