Went back again since we were looking for some great food....did not disappoint. I had the Cali Burrito and it was pretty good. Filled with goodness. We also had the queso burrito also very good. Flavorful and really a good value. The food came out a little slower than normal and they may have been a little short-handed. Madelyne our server was running around making sure all eh tables were taken care of. Check out the pictures. The food did not disappoint. This spot was such an awesome surprise! I ordered the arroz con camarones ($13.99) with refried beans (+$2), and the mango-rita ($8.99 for small). The mango-rita tasted like a mango smoothie and completely non-alcoholic, but I definitely felt it. Alcoholic drinks that don't taste like alcohol are my jam! I loved how chunky and fresh the guac was. The rice was soft and delicious and flavorful, and they gave me a WHOLE cup of yummy queso on the side! Complimentary chips and salsa were also great. 5 stars again! This is my 3rd or 4th visit and is a must try when in the area!! We arrived today with 16 people, they quickly moved things around to seat us all. We had 1 server and she was AMAZING!! I got the queso burrito with shrimp and it was so wonderful! Everyone loved their food and margaritas. Something we always forget, the "shrimp salad" is not a real salad with shrimp. It's grilled shrimp (perfectly seasoned and tasted deliciously) on a small bed of lettuce with a side of sour cream, pico and guacamole. Tonight was my first time here, DH was here before the addition. We almost didn't go because of his first impression, several years ago. He did like the food then, and now. They have expanded into a much larger area - to me a sign they are doing something right. The place looks amazing, upscale - light, bright and clean!! I love to sit at the bar. Beautiful bar to sit at, with several tv's. One was playing local news - yay, vs sports 24/7! Now for the food/drinks. Happy hour is 2-5:00. Margs were 2/$10. They are not the neon green ones and actually had a flavor I could not I.d. - Cointreau or triple sec? Whatever, they were yummy. Very large glass - the size most places consider a large, and at 2/$10, you can't beat them! DH had draft Modelo Negro. $4 per glass. Again, not the regular size - maybe 12'ish+ oz. That was a 'short'. I don't know the price for the 'tall', but he was impressed. The food was delicious! And huge. DH had a barbacoa chimi - the thing was massive. I had 3 street tacos supreme - sour cream, cheese vs regular. 50 cents more total, not each, was so worth it. I had carnitas, barbacoa and steak. Each was better than the last. Home-made tortillas - could definitely notice the difference vs store bought. The service was excellent. I did not hear the server when she was welcoming us, so I don't know her name. Very pretty, thin, young Latina. We live in Merritt Island, so easy to get to. Take 520 to the end, make a left, ~3/4 mile on the right, in a very nice looking strip center. Q's Crab is at one end - another place I want to try - especially now that I know where it is, and how nice, clean and inviting it looks. We have not been for Mexican in so long - there are just no good places. We don't like the Merritt Island Mall place, or the one on the left, across from Long-doggers. They can't seem to keep a decent health score. Forget the place on Sykes Creek. I think that's about it short of hauling up to Leoncita's in Titusville. Tequila Venti-uno isn't bad, but now that I've found this place - I'm a happy camper!! I am so excited to finally have found a decent Mexican restaurant. To have it so close is definitely a plus. read more

I visited this place for the first time because of the reviews. I ordered the asada carne tacos at the recommendation of the waiter. I had a take out order and when I got home I was disappointed to find the steak was old, hard and inedible. This place ought to be ashamed serving such low quality of food. read more

I was told about this location from my wife and some friends of mine. I don't usually eat outside of home nowadays, but this will be somewhere I head back to every once in a while. I did have my food delivered to me, so I can't speak on the ambiance and service, but I can say that the food was absolutely amazing. Wow! The taste and textures were just great. If I could leave half a star I would. Food was terrible first came out and it was cold and my counterparts pork plate, half of it was fat. Salsa tasted like it was a can of tomatoes. The water tasted like they got it out of a garden hose. Sent the food back and it came out a better temperature, but the quality of the food was half a star.. extremely salty. I paid to get indigestion and need to drink a gallon of water. read more

We've eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants, but this was a visit we'll never forget! Mexico's Grill was close to where we were staying on a trip so we chose it out of convenience. However, it was an amazing meal to kick off our vacation! I enjoyed the carne asada and shrimp, which were marinated in a tangy lime sauce. They also had specials on margaritas, and our server was very attentive to our large group. Even the beans and rice were clearly homemade, but my favorite was the plantain dessert. Excellent experience. Came with a larger group of 7. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good for everyone at table. No complaints or negative comments of any sort about the food itself from anyone at the table. The only issue encountered was having an appetizer served pretty much at the same time as the entrees. I think that's was more than offset by the fact that everything was very good and led to a very enjoyable evening. Would definitely return again to enjoy another meal. read more

I absolutely love places like this!!!! Down to earth folks working here who aim to please. We arrived 15 mins before closing and the staff had no problem seating us and getting us drinks even though my husband was hesitant that it was near closing. We were welcomed with a smile and were told repeatedly that there was no rush!!! Clearly this place was good because the restaurant had quite a few people in it. Complimentary chips and salsa come out and the salsa was so fresh you could taste it with every bite. We ordered a side of queso which was delicious (I highly recommend it) and ceviche (which was also made fresh upon order). Man, the flavors in the ceviche...YUM! I could again taste the fresh ingredients with the cilantro and lime, wow! I could not stop eating!!! I had the queso burrito which was soooo good but soooo much, which I didn't mind because there were plenty of leftovers. My steak was seasoned and very tender and included rice and beans inside the burrito as well. A side of guac, sour cream and salsa accompanied my burrito which was perfect. The ambiance was authentic. Selena playin in the background, self portraits hung on the wall of Mexican greats definitely gave me the vibe of being in Mexico!!! Don't be fooled by what you see - this is some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long while! We came here after a long day of traveling because we were craving Mexican, and it was so worth it. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. I had ordered a beef dish but they brought out chicken. It was corrected right away with no hesitation - such a nice waitstaff. Very attentive and kind. The nachos are great and the enchiladas are such a great portion size! When we're in the area again, we'll definitely make a stop here. read more

Give it a C- I ordered Carne Asada. Steak was a very thin cut of something. First piece I took to check the flavor, that piece was uneatable. After chewing for a while I had to spit it out. The rest was ok and tough thin strings of gristle had to be cut out. The beans were not traditional refried. Rest was typical rice, quac and shredded lettuce. The flour tortias were oversized and something you would buy off the shelf at Publix. My girlfriend had pork tamales and they were good but not exceptional. Staff was average. Ambiance was ok. The music (some sort of Latina Drama stuff) was annoying and too loud. I have been on Planet Earth for 73 years and have had much much better. When I got back home. I had a delicious smoked turkey sandwich to fill me up. Never look back. read more

I'm going to start with a good stuff first. Queso dip with Teresa was great because it had lots of chorizo. The tamales are the best I've tasted in a long time. Then we go to the service. Not good at all. My meal was brought to my table and my boyfriend's was not. As my mother taught me to wait for others to eat, mine proceeded to get cold while his came out and still ended up cold as well! I had Troy dip as part of my meal and the waiter disappeared without refilling my chips. When I asked him to refill my chips, he said he would be a minute. Then proceeded to take a drink out to a table and take five people's orders. This is all while my Troy dip is getting cold. I had to ask another waitress to help me out and get me some chips. Steven seem like a really cool guy when we first got there, but what a disappointment in the end. Another waitress had to bring me my chips and ring our bill out. This restaurant is located in a small plaza on a main road in cocoa beach. The parking lot is shared and there was plenty of parking at the time of my weekday lunch visit. The menu offers a wide variety and everything sounded amazing so it took time to choose. The dishes we decided on were delicious with zero complaints. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. I had a margarita and although it was $10. It was worth it. There was actually tequila in it and made to perfection. I have been to Mexico's Grill twice and couldn't have had better experiences. I have been coming to cocoa beach for 10 years now and this has now become a must on my trips. The food is outstanding (Birria Tacos 10/10) with the service to match. It is an easy spot to miss and I am thankful to have come across it on Yelp. Just went to Mexico''s Grill for the second time. Both times the food was excellent and the staff was proficient and friendly. We had Steven for a waiter and he was super attentive and congenial. I had an appetizer bowl with shredded beef and it was plenty for my meal. The queso was creamy and delicious with just enough heat. My table mates had tacos and they raved about the pork. One of our party made his own meal with French fries, grilled chicken topped with onions and peppers and queso. Tasted fabulous and Steven said the cook even commented on how good it looked. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends. read more
