Visited Mezcal to watch the world cup soccer matches. Really enjoyed the ambiance and lights were decorated to match the teams colors. In between game times, DJ played music keeping guests entertained. Food and drinks are on the pricey side but taste great. Server was constantly checking in on us and super friendly. This was the location for my company's Christmas party this year and at 1st, it was slightly difficult to locate the main entrance but after finding the signage, walked in. I wasn't greeted by a host but I ran down a server who was able to direct me and my date to our party. We were served a buffet style meal with a salad, beans, Spanish rice, and 3 different types of protein (carnitas, steak, and chicken).. the chicken, had much better flavors due to the salsa glazed on it, but the steak was very tender and delicious too. After dinner, our room was converted into a dance club, at that point was open to the public, which was pretty fun..overall had a blast there. read more

I came here with my bf because we were starving and just up and decided to try this place out. This restaurant is in mid downtown and is very inviting. We wanted to try out the margarita flight and it was a great decision. You get 3 flavors but you can change them around with other flavors if you choose to. The chicken pozole was delicious... it did need a little more red chile but it was perfect!!! What's even better is they have chile torreados (just make sure to ask). My bf got steak with his red chilaquiles and it was also very delicious!!! What I DO NOT recommend is the queso fundido... it was super watery and what the helly!! Rajas to me are long green chiles not green peppers which is what was in our queso. But anywaaaaays ...We'll be coming back again for dinner soon:) enjoy my pics !! The Borracho Fries were excellent and perfect as a starter dish. They normally come topped with carnitas, but since I am not a pork eater we opted to leave the meat off. Luckily our server said the cook would not have a problem amending our order. In addition to the fries we also ordered the guacamole appetizer. It was more than enough for our party of three. I have to admit that we all thought the guacamole was very under-seasoned but loved the pickled onions which were on top. The onions gave it a nice crunchiness and in order to give the guacamole some extra flavor, we added a few teaspoons of the delicious spicy salsa which accompanied the chips. It did the trick and the guacamole tasted great! I also ordered the pescado tacos which were very good. The fish was very moist and had a great char. I felt they could have used less cabbage and other fillers because everything just kept falling out every time I tried to take a bite. The pescado taco entrée came with 3 tacos, beans and rice. I found the beans and rice to taste pretty average but they were a satisfying amount. read more

One waiter to service and take orders for all the entire restaurant. I had to waiters attention to take our order. 1 person actually bringing out our food and one person bringing beverages for the entire restaurant and there are at least 20 tables inside and 6 tables outside. There was seating at the bar so maybe to bartender was handling those orders Major issue in my opinion, 1 bathroom multi-gender bathroom for the entire restaurant and there were at least 75 in restaurant at the time Isn't that some kind of violation Overall opinion - Nice venue - restaurant needs more staff read more

I also loved the music they were playing, a little Karol G a little Maluma you already know! I ordered the Strawberry Margarita, Paloma, Sandia Pepino, Oaxacan Lover & a few other drinks (Yes I know that's a lot bwahahaha). All of them were SOOOOO good, this is a fantastic tequila bar. Staff was very helpful with everything & gave me the right food & drink recommendations. For food I went with the papas bravas, chicken taquitos, & the enchiladas del mar. The papas bravas were a GREAT start to the evening, extremely delicious but the enchiladas take the cake. They were EXTREMELY good & complimented my MANY drinks very well. Don't go here this is a false advertisement club they don't allow tattoos at all that are visible. I was told by manager that my tattoos were unacceptable and not allowed. But let others in with tattoos in and even there security guards had tattoos. I told manager on there website it says no baggy clothes , no sports attire and ball caps .. that's it nothing mentioned about tattoos.. read more
