Crowded but the vibe is fine and the music will do. Security is fine, you can rest assure of some kind of safety level. The bartending may have some extra needs to fulfill to be called gold standard but I guess they are extremely busy on weekends nights and it gets to them as well. The waitress immediately offered the VIP area with bottle service for a $750 charge. She then offered us another vip service area for a $350 charge. We stood there confused wondering if these were the only seating offerings available. And due to the pandemic, our group ideally didn't want to sit inside in some vip booth. We asked about outdoor seating and were told that a table was available right now. Soooo uh why didn't you start off by offering that to us? Anyway... It's fine. This is great. (Sarcasm) So she walks us over to our table for three. The table is actually a table for two. The kind of small table that you would sit at when on a date. We were very confused by this since we have 3 adult sized people in our group. There was another tiny table (meant for two people on a date sitting across from each other). We asked if we could push the two tiny tables together to have enough room for the three of us. The hostess said no because that table was going to other people who just arrived.... Mmmkay. So my friend and I sat on the same side and we each had a corner of the table to eat on. Hello that is not classy and not okay to cram your guests together like that. We only ordered appetizers, because let's be real- there wasn't enough room for all three of us to order entrees. Anyway... It's fine. This is great. (Sarcasm) So the hostess brings the new guests and seats them. They have three people in there party as well. We ended up sitting right up next to total strangers because there was no room on the bench. It was terribly uncomfortable for us and for that party. We couldn't even have conversations without being in their ears. It isn't upscale, classy or appropriate to sit people in that way. Especially since we requested outdoor seating to have space away from others. The drinks were good, but the food was overpriced and bland. We ordered chips and guacamole and the guacamole was the blandest crap ever. The fruit and cheese plate didn't taste all that fresh either. I mean we must love overpriced mediocre food right? I just recently moved here and my friends wanted to show me a good night out. Upon entry everything was smooth. My friends and I headed straight to the bar to order drinks. My friends ordered they're drinks but when it was time for me to order my drinks these two men cutted in front of me. The bartender who saw that I was next greeted the guys and took shots with both of them. Still waiting patiently for my turn my friends asked me if he took my order and I stated no. They then realized that the bartender allowed me to get cutted and didn't service me until after they were done taking shots together. After the two gentlemen left the bartender Mathew asked what I'd like to drink I ordered and then decided to add on a shot to my order in which he replied "oh i guess you can get that too" I didn't think much of the comment until Mathew then followed up with "Are you good do you have a problem? " I was actually quite taking a back by his tone and rude demeanor and simply replied "no sir im okay are you okay." At this point I was feeling a bit unwelcome at the bar and my friends asked if I was okay after the interaction. Shortly after that I went to the restroom with my friends and as they came out we witnessed a fight in the middle of the dance floor. I won't be ever coming to this establishment again. This place has plenty of outdoor seating, so you don't have to worry about dining in. The only reason why I'm not giving this 5 stars is because the waiters sat everyone within an arms length of one another.. less than two feet! Other than that, the food was pretty enjoyable. I tried their cheese board which included a lot of good cheeses and nice little crouton like crackers to eat it with. My favorite and the best item on the menu is their flatbread. Their burrata and pesto flatbread was to absolutely die for! Super fresh ingredients that just meld together so well! The service here was really rude. I asked the bartender lady for a drink. I wanted to know how much I was drinking, so I asked her how many shots was in the adios. She responded, but couldn't really hear my question, because the music was very loud. So after i repeated my question to her once or twice, I just gave up and asked for the drink. I am very disappointed with my experience at the DTE. I got on the guest list and got there on time. my code wasn't working for some reason, so the lady at the front with a pink blazer on grabbed my ID as collateral and told me to head in and pick it up after. I purchased 2 tickets, once the club got crowded, both of my tables were resold and I was forced to leave the nightclub. I made a reservation for 12 girls & 2 bottles for my bestfriend's bday. I spoke with Ruben, the main manager that organizes a few clubs. He said, We were "all set" and all we had to do was walk in. When we showed up, they told us, we didn't have a reservation, that Ruben doesn't even exist, and that they ARE SOLD OUT, they dont have tables available.. Immediately I complained, how is it that I called the phone number on the DTE website and the main manager RUBEN answered, to take our reservations. HOW IS IT THAT RUBEN DOESNT EXIST?!? HE'S ANSWERING YOUR MAIN LINE?! They don't take Apple Pay, and don't being any credit cards, entrance is CASH ONLY. After being livid, FINALLY getting a table in this club that wasn't even half booked, paying extra for our bottles, 7/12 people had to pay entrance fee, OH AND GET THIS When I brought this all up to their attention, I found out that they charged me $10 more than they charged everyone else at the door. Can't make a martini. That's really just it. Came here on an afternoon, it was hot out, and they couldn't make a decent martini. Way watered down. I suspect their ice was really wet and they over shook it hard. I asked for another one and was annoyingly precise in directions, but they came back with another gin and water. Visited the second week they opened, have been there ever since! It's rare to find a lounge that is comparable to the lounges in Los Angeles. With great artwork and excellent lighting. Menu has changed since it's initiation but still a good selection. Wasn't too impressed with the hostess that reiterated that we had to order dinner (which was out intention, to dine out). I was like hell no, instead I bought a bottle for $350 but they wanted to charge $450 and had ridiculous fees. 20% gratuity and when they brought the bottle and side drinks it was all flat.
