I was not impressed last night got the fried chicken appetizer that I didn't realize came with fries. The chicken was just plain. My steak quesadilla was dry. The ACPs not sure why they think people want to eat a whole onion and green pepper such a waste. I do have 2 Mexican restaurants that are my go to so I'm going to stick with them moving forward. Last time I was in this building it was a Golden Corral...early '90s. Needless to say, this is an amazing change. My wife and I enjoyed some great margaritas, fresh guacamole and very good fajitas. One note, ORDER SLOWLY!! The service is super fast, our guacamole and drinks arrived in less than minutes. If we hadn't waited to order our entrees everything would have arrived at once. read more

I have food allergies so I had to adjust my selection a lot. Haley was amazing. We basically made a new dish. And when it came out it was perfect. It was delicious. Lots of food for the money. The food is consistently excellent, service is always very good but the music is so loud as to be uncomfortable. I stopped by last Saturday for lunch. The rice tasted like plain rice and was barely warm. The rice was a nice orange color. The Burrito filling was good, but the red sauce tasted like Maranira to me. The Margarita was good; I like mine on the rocks with salt (and not because it looks cool). Unfortunately, the shape of this particular glass made it difficult to drink without running down my face so I was forcedto use a straw. I know they opened recently, but I'm not sure I'll give them another try since I don't think my observations are due to inexperienced staff. read more

I loved my visit recently!! The food was great and the portions you get are plentiful. My wife ordered a fajita burrito and that thing was close to touch both ends of the plate. The menu is pretty big, which I hard a very hard time trying to figure out what to get. The decor on the inside of the restaurant is very nice and that plant wall is something to see. The only con I had which was the restaurants fault was I could try one of the very good look margaritas I had seen online. Wasn't the restaurants fault however because they were awaiting their alcohol license to come through, which has since changed. I look forward to returning to try all the other dishes on the menu. read more

I previously reviewed this restaurant and thought they were fantastic, however, the quality of food has been inconsistent and has generally declined. I ordered the Carnitas plate and you can tell it was sitting for a long time and was probably microwaved to be heated up. This place is better than many local restaurants and fairly priced, but the standards in Henderson are so low. I have enjoyed Mezcalito and hope they step up their food quality. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but just for starters, this restaurant has an incredible atmosphere, very open and bright, with a great interior. This place has great customer service too. I have celiac's disease, and they were extremely accommodating. The waiter was gracious and kind, and checked in the kitchen with every item to make sure it was safe for me to eat which is hard to come by. Over all, this is a really great restaurant and the food is delicious with a very nice presentation, I highly recommend it. Definitely adding it to my favorites! read more

I never leave bad reviews, but if I place a order and you repeat it back to me twice, how can a mistake be made? That's an order repeated 3 times to the host for a Togo order! After 10 mins goes by the host comes to me and says I didn't charge you for cilantro and onions, is this not a Mexican spot? That comes with the taco, but overall how do you forget to charge after you repeated it back to me! read more

It's so cool finding great dining experiences in unexpected places! Visiting Mezcalito was one such experience. There dishes were some of the most colorful, flavorful foods I've ever seen! Culinary works of art! Nice sized portions and good drinks. Overall, just a very fun place to eat. We had a blast! We will definitely stop as Mezcalito, next time we're driving through that neck of the woods. Mezcalito is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. We were excited to try this new restaurant. Being new, there was a wait since everyone wants to try it. We only waited for about 5 minutes. Once seated, we got chips and our drink order pretty quickly. Once our order was taken, the food came out really quickly. It was very good. I got Camarones a La Diabla. That is normally a very spicy meal, but this one was not spicy at all. My husband got rice with everything and my Dad got carnitas. Everything was really good. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because the music was too loud. We weren't able to have a conversation. read more

This restaurant is about 2 years old in this city. Food was initially good during my first 2 visits, but after receiving dried chicken wings on an evening visit, I must admit I was quite disappointed. I called and spoke to the manager and was promised a free meal. On my recent visit, I was escorted to what appeared to be the "colored" side of the restaurant,where the patrons were black, away from the bar and television screen. Being a woman of color myself, I asked to be seated on the other side. I've heard rumors that they engaged in discriminatory seating and got to witness it first hand. Enjoyed a Thursday night meal with my daughter. Chips were fresh and hot, loved watching the young guy make them. Salsa needs more onions, peppers and cilantro, very mild, it reminded me of canned salsa. We got the paradilla for two and the meat was amazing! I would say remove the sausage (it's like a smoked link) and replace it with a chorizo sausage or remove it and add more carnitas! Both jalapeños were what I consider "raw" as the could have been roasted more. Remove the large onions with stems, not many people eat them and it's food going to waste. Rice was average but my daughter and I both did not care for the beans. Guess it's not refried pintos the way I grew up eating. Can't wait for the bar to open and see if I can finally find someplace around here that can make a decent margarita! read more
