Great healthy food for the right price. Can't go wrong. I ordered a bowl with the lamb kefte. $14 Fast service Fresh ingredients

Mezeh offers up a healthy, customizable dining experience. How can you go wrong, when you chose exactly what items you want in your meal! The selection is plentiful and unlimited in how many you chose (much more than other similar establishments). It's also a great playground for those that are vegetarians, so many choices! I ordered a falafel and vegetarian kofta as my protein. I added too many items on top to even remember, yet alone list. It was a very tasty, filing, affordable, and healthy lunch option.

What a welcome surprise during a work trip to the area. Very nice location and convenient to shopping in the area. Super fresh and wide variety of ingredients and friendly staff. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Leftovers! Bulgur base, crunchy chickpeas, pita

For a chain, this food was really good! Even for a non-chain place, I'd be impressed. Mezeh is essentially the Chipotle for Mediterranean food. There are so many toppings to choose from. I decided on the bulgur with vegetable base, couscous topping, crunchy chickpeas, caramelized eggplant, tahini sauce, chickpea salad, shredded lamb, crumbled feta, Turkish yogurt dip, and chicken shawarma. The bowl was super tasty, and not that expensive given the more than adequate portion and extremely high quality ingredients. You can taste and even see the freshness. The staff was super efficient as well, and the inside of the restaurant is quite nice. The shredded lamb was the perfect texture and was extremely flavorful. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma as well (they also had a spicy variety). The Turkish yogurt dip was refreshing and didn't have an overpowering cucumber flavor. The eggplant was a bit sweet and almost creamy; definitely delicious. Chickpea salad was super fresh, and the crunchy chickpeas were also a great textural addition. Even the base had some carrots and raisins in it that contributed to the flavor. They even give you free pita with a bowl, and it was fluffy and perfect. All in all, this is a great place to get lunch or dinner if you want some Mediterranean food. There are so many options to choose from, and the prices are quite reasonable. Everything is fresh and delicious!

Mezeh is an amazing option for a healthy, fresh, and light meal... for a reasonable price too! While out of town, I decided to check out this restaurant and was overwhelmed by all the options. You start by picking a bowl, wrap, or pita pocket. Then you proceed to pick a base, meat, toppings, and sauce. What sets Mezeh apart is that you can literally order anything you want. If you can't decide on a base, it doesn't matter- you can mix as many as you want! I mixed 3 different bases, and they weren't stingy either. For only $10, you can completely fill a bowl of whatever ingredients you want without any additional upcharges. I essentially ordered almost everything that they had to offer. In addition, customer service here is superb. I can't say I've experienced better customer elsewhere often. The staff took the time to explain everything to us and even made suggestions what to order or what to mix. They allowed us to try certain things before ordering if we weren't sure. They also have a couple of different juices that's included in just a regular soda price. And a side pita comes with your meal free of charge! I was very impressed and would love to come back.

It's so awesome to be pleasantly surprised when you try something for the first time. Just found the place when to popped up on my yelp so I gave it a try. I love the fact that it's one base price and they don't nickel and dime you. The chicken was tasty and hot, you could see the steam flowing off the chicken which is just an awesome thing. Lots of toppings option. And they do have a spicy sauce so try it. The manager was working the register and he was engaging and friendly. Keep up the good work.

No soda fountain during Covd. Only teas and bottled soda.

It is a different time. As local businesses move to takeout, to-go, and curbside service, it is important for us to continue supporting local establishments. I ordered my meal via their website. I had received an offer for BOGO bowl in my email earlier. My order was a build your own bowl. My protein was chicken shawarma in a brown rice base. Their falafel isn't bad if you prefer a vegaterian option. The chicken is juicy and not dry. The flavor provided just a hint of spice that I amplified the flavor. As for toppings, I included Turkish salad, roasted corn and vegetables, hummus, pita strips, feta cheese, and cucumbers. I love the dicotomy of the hot chicken and rice with the cool toppings. All bowls come with pita bread. Most of the time I can fill up on the kids bowl, I only ordered the regular bowl today due to the offer. It's important to support our restaurant businesses now. Order often and tip well. We want them here when this passes.

I also added edamame because I love them. With each order you have the option for an included slice of bread. Well, if there is a better burger in Virginia, send me a message I want to go on my next visit. My buddy and I split some fried pickles which are the spear shaped kind and were solid. Then I ordered a Steakhouse burger and onion rings. Holy Shitballs the burger was good. A brioche bun (my favorite of the hamburger buns because of smashablity), cheddar, bacon, onion straws and bbq sauce. All of the toppings were great, but it could have just been bread and burger, and it still would have been delicious. The beer selection was large, I forgot how many were on tap, but I got a local IPA. The service was great as was the atmosphere. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Charlottesville.

I even conceded the size of my drink and fries would be a surprise, as she didn't ask before pushing us to pay. I was too hungry to care and usually love surprises, but not the ones this experience continued to offer. At the window, we were given our drinks, told that fries weren't ready, and to park and wait for both them and our meal. We did just that. As we pull up, a parked and waiting customer is flagging down the food runner to fix an error. She might as well have used a red flag that we unfortunately ignored. Imagine our, well, surprise, when only our food comes out soon after. No fries or utensils for the grilled nuggets. We wave down the poor runner, tell her about the fries (priorities), and she asks for the sticker on the bag to confirm with the kitchen. I rip off the sticker for her. You can have my patience, but you can't have my food. I'm no longer confident in the chain of custody for my precious cargo when the impromptu fry delivery service is procuring everything but their namesake. She's gone for long minutes. Multiple cars pull into parking spots and leave with their miraculously accurate bounty. The runner returns. She's wary. A small, grease stained bag, is clenched in her fist. It's a hostage exchange. She's been told to check in our bag, that I wouldn't give her, to ensure that we don't already have fries. Like we're enacting some great fry heist and are manipulating our way through various Chick-fil-A locations. Honestly? If we were, we'd be awful thieves to just leave them in the bag, but whatever. We show her the barren bag. She approves. Doesn't even notice the mountain of waffle fries, haplessly gathered in the backseat from all of our successful heists. /j It was insulting nonetheless to have to pass a test to receive the food we paid for, when everyone else left visibly successful and unquestioned. She does the handover. We get the fries. They're all the crappy, tiny ones, as if all that time was spent meticulously picking the worst, just for us. It felt purposeful, strange, and made our visit to consume God's chicken completely lose its luster. I've worked in customer service all my life and was as understanding as I could be in a situation that made no sense. I ordered a Market Salad which is my go to these days. I like their grilled chicken. My daughter got a grilled chicken sandwich. I paid with the app and expected to need a reload of money. Much to my surprise I had over $100, I have no idea how that occurred. The restaurant was extremely busy on a weekday lunch rush. I didn't see any issues with anything that would have alerted me to note on a review such as tables that were dirty or trash on the floor. We decided that we had enough time and with the rain to go ahead and eat in quickly. Food was delivered quickly, and the order was accurate. No food issues we both enjoyed what we had and was able to catch up a bit before returning to the car. This was a good stop. So considering it was their busy time and they hit my high expectations for eating out at any restaurant I would say they did very well. I would come back and recommend.
