I'm allergic to feta so when I asked today if I could substitute it for another topping I was told "No" So basically I got 1 less than the # of normal toppings that comes with the bowl I paid for. Sometimes they act like it's a favor to be waiting on you. One bathroom is always down with a sign on it that says out of service. Music is loud in the dining room but when you get in to the bathroom, it will blast you out of there. Seriously. 3 visits. Not likely to return. read more

The portion, might not seem big as you assemble, but once your start eating you see it's actually a really good size. They have junior bowls, you get limited topping for this size. They also have wrap options as well. If you're craving a sweet treat they have cookies, but I highly recommend the baklava. Comes packaged with one classic and one chocolate. Both were really good. I looked at the negative reviews and many referenced the portions being too small. I experienced the opposite. I could not finish my meal. The bowls were delicious and complex. This was my second time having Mezah, and I love it again. I came to this location on June 14th for the $3 bowl special with drink purchase. The restaurant was clean, the staff were welcoming, and the food was stocked. It was starting to get a little busy because of the special, but the line was moving smoothly. I enjoyed everything about my bowl when I got home. However, I was not a fan of the tahini sauce. Luckily, I got it on the side. read more

I have been here many times and have never had a negative experience until this past Sunday afternoon when it was so hot that I could hardly stay to enjoy my meal. The music was also very loud. The food is always very good, but the atmosphere was overwhelming. The employees were kind and the service was good and they were very busy preparing carry out orders. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. I didn't finish my meal because of the heat and the noise. I'll be back, but please turn on the air conditioning in the summer. read more

We came at the perfect time because as soon as we sat down the line grew. We were served quickly, the food was fresh and the team was nice. When at in the store and besides being beautiful, the tables were clean. The best thing about mezeh were the drink options!!! Don't bother ordering delivery from them. They will not realize it's there and then tell your driver it'll be another 30 mins for it to be ready. Ridiculous when I can stand there and have it made in about 5 minutes as I watch. Two other times I've been there in person and the AC was broken with no fans. read more

Love Mediterranean food. "Chipotle style" line - you pick what you want going down the line. Can't go wrong with any combination of choices. Very glad to see one near by. Definitely in the rotation as it is a great healthy choice. Don't be intimidated, try a little something different each time ;) Portions could be a little bigger and are at other Mezehs . But overall after you get all the other ingredients it is a lot of food. Plus you can always ask for double protein and pay extra (for the frugal reviewer who commented on portion size). I was so excited to learn about this new location - I frequent their locations in Bowie and Gambrills. The new location looks great! The grand opening had a great turn out. Needed a quick dinner option before my niece's play and tried this place out. The food was good. I think the ingredients were fresh and they give you a good amount. There is no signage and I couldn't find the menu at first but I ended up making my own bowl so it didn't really matter. The people there were nice. The inside is really cute but I found the bench seat uncomfortable. I didn't have a drink but the lemonades looked good. I don't think I saw soda, which doesn't matter to me but might matter to others. Overall pretty good. read more

I love gyros. So I see this gyro on their menu for $15.45 plus tax. I figure a gyro for $15.45 has to be phenomenal, as I've never seen a gyro sandwich priced that high. A gyro platter, sure, that's easily $15-$20 depending on the place, but never just a sandwich. So I was pretty excited to dig into this golden gyro, but what I pulled out of the bag was shocking. What they sent was about the size and mass of a cheese panini, very flat, small and light like a folded mouse pad. If you've had gyro sandwiches then you know they have the size and weight of a loaded up burrito. This thing had its pita cut and filled with the contents inside the pouch, making the bread far too thin and soggy around the outside. They opened the pita and filled it. There's no room in there. It had the tiniest pittance of ingredients. That is not a gyro. To make it worse, the meat was dry and chewy, the rest was a slimy disgusting mess. I paid $15.45 plus tax for the worst thing someone's tried to pass off as a gyro. How does a Mediterranean place dork up a gyro? How on earth do they charge so much for it? read more

Upon entering, my friend and I were not greeted and had to wait quite some time to get our order taken. The restaurant was only open for about an hour and there was no one in front of us. The employees were less than enthusiastic when greeting us. I asked for my grains and proteins on the side and was told that I was going to be charged extra. I didn't ask for extra portions, just for it to be separate. I have been to similar places and never had to pay extra. At checkout I was not given a receipt either so I'm not sure how much extra I was charged. When I approached the counter to ask for lids, the employee that assembled my bowl saw me coming and went to the back. The man in the kitchen preparing food came up to help me. Customer service should get zero stars. The food was great though. Too bad. I will go to another location instead or another franchise completely. read more

Food is good. Service varies from "so bad I'm leaving" to OK. Last time the place was empty. One person was prepping in the kitchen and another was at the cash register filling bags and drinks. We stood at the end of the counter. No one even acknowledged we were there. We left after 10 minutes, a record wait. Never again. If I could give this location no stars I would. I ordered online and my food was supposed to be ready at 7:18. Here I sit at 8:00 and still no food. There are eight of us waiting. They're putting the walk-in customers ahead of the online ones. Get some better management. I can't imagine this location will stay open long. read more
