Wow! I was a little skeptic bringing my truck to a home based business, but I am pleasantly surprised at how great a job MG did. He told me it would take him 30 minutes to install a new stereo. I think it only took him 20. I like the fact that I called him in the morning and by that evening he got my stereo installed. His price was great too. A very solid 5 stars for Miguel. He knows what he's doing, is extremely reasonable, and is a great guy as well. You couldn't ask for anything else - he will take the time to troubleshoot if something is wrong. I had him install a JVC unit into my wife's minivan, with extra parts to make sure the stereo could be controlled by the steering wheel buttons. It took a bit of analyzing, but Miguel fixed it. I had a very weird problem with my stereo/radio, it wouldn't turn off even when the car was off and the keys were not in the ignition, however everything was frozen, no sound, nothing. My car got stolen. I got it back 2 weeks later. My stereo was gone, and my dashboard broken and cracked. So I bought a stereo deck from Best Buy when I went home to Santa Rosa for the holidays. It was nothing special, on sale for $60. Best Buy and their Geek Squad charge $60 (+materials) to install my $60 device. I'm Mexican, so there's no way I'm paying some foos that much to install a stereo deck. But I also don't know enough about cars and electronics to do it myself. I called Miguel, and he quoted me at almost half of Geek Squad's price. Pulled up to his spot (which is in a residential area, so when you when you get there, yes, that IS the place), and he shook my hand and said, "Hey, my name is Miguel too!" ...From that moment on, I knew we would be friends for LIFE. Not really, but I will tell you Miguel is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. You will immediately be at ease; you can just tell he's a good person. He also knows his stuff, and something like installing a basic stereo into my '98 Honda Civic was cake for him, especially considering he didn't even have to mess with the dash (as it was all broken up by my car thief). Because of this, he charged me even LESS that what he quoted (he said he was charging me less since I'm going to school and I had to deal with all the expenses of having my car stolen/impounded/fixed/etc). All he did was set up the wiring for my stereo, and hook it up. Basically, he didn't do too much, so he didn't charge me much (a sign of an honest businessman). Other locations around town charge double if not triple what i paid. I'm always shopping for a good deal and this was the BEST deal. Then when the time came to install it, Miguel was gracious and highly efficient.
