His appraisal of our 3,200 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in Frankfort was completely inaccurate, dishonest, and extremely low. The comps he used were homes in a different school district (less desirable) and used 3 bedroom homes, just adding $4,000 for a 4th bedroom (which you cannot put a price tag on as we all know). When these inaccuracies were brought to his attention for a reconsideration, his lackadaisical and lazy attitude toward his job ignored them. As far as I am concerned, he is unethical, lazy and incompetent. His incompetence has cost us a contract. Please do not use this company, and don't let Thomas Warfel on your property to appraise your valuable home.

We worked with this MRED in group in Lisle as their Architect, and I must say that they were the…read moremost difficult client we have ever had. Nothing would please them. We catered to their every whim, we over-serviced their account, and all we received back was grief from them. And then when it was finished, they unfairly threatened us with not paying our fee. We successfully rebutted all of their false claims, yet still lost some of our fee to them because we trying to be the "nice guy", and they would never have paid us anyway. Very underhanded strategy. I would never recommend working with them on any level, even as their client. I can only imagine how they treat their customers. They must be very bitter people there. Avoid!
