    Regular Thali

Been looking for a place to have Thali that was nearby. Price is reasonable and was tasty and flavorful. Ambiance was nice and service was good. Will be coming back when have another craving for Thali.

    Buffet but no real service
    Keith F.

We came in because the restaurant next door had an hour wait. We had no idea what we were in for so when we were asked "buffet?" We said sure! This place is 100% vegetarian so that is something you may need to consider. I love that option so it was a good start. The buffet had plenty of options. The food was well spiced and seasoned. I really enjoyed the haka noodles, the lentils, and both of the paneer dishes. The potatoes were also good although some of them were not cooked all the way through. They did a nice job of replacing items that were low except for the raita which sat empty except for the little bit I scraped out on my first trip. The service was nonexistent. After our initial seating and drink order she never came back. Our dishes piled up (see picture) throughout the meal and were never removed. We also never received naan although all of the surrounding tables got it. Temperature wise it was also really warm in there. I wanted to be all in this place because I love vegetarian food and I love Indian cuisine. I also really like buffets. Unfortunately the service was really bad. Maybe it was an off day.

I've been a of MH15 since they opened. Owner Deepti has a very interesting story about her little restaurant surviving the COVID shutdown --wow--has it been two years now (?)! But that aside, the food has always been frivolous, hot, and appropriately spiced every time I've eaten in or taken out. For vegetarians and Indian food lovers alike, MH15 gets a "highly recommend". My first choice dish is their Chana Masala. I also like their vegetable paneer biryani. The garlic chili na'an is 100% worth a try. I don't often order it because the portions are--for me anyway--more than adequate. They've had some operational abs staffing issues in the past which--NGL--have been a little annoying. But I chalk those up to growing pains. So because the food is dependable in the ways I described, five stars.

    Cheese Maggi

Have been to this place at least 10 times in the past 2.5 years I have been here in Atlanta, GA. This includes both pick up as well as dine in right from COVID times till now. Never was I disappointed with the food. The service would be kind of On and Off but overall it's been a great one and I'm happy to review it after finding out that I have never written one. Overall if I have to say something this is a great place for trying out North Indian food for sure. They are exclusively vegetarian and their food especially, the curries have a very strong Marathi food flavor. The whole Garam masala can be felt in major proportion and that works well. I would definitely recommend their curries especially the Kaju Paneer. That alongside Garlic Naan would definitely make your day complete. The starter options are really good and the Indo Chinese menu wasn't that bad but it was more Indianish! I would highly suggest not to try anything that is South Indian especially the Dosas. The Dosas are crisp but are too dry. The Sambar on the sides isn't that great either. So a big no (Recently they have started Unlimited Dosas at 10.99). I used to get Chikoo / Custard Apple milkshake before, but recently they aren't available at all. RECENT VISITS: I recently visited MH15 and let me highlight few things about that. We ordered a Vada Pav, cheese Maggi and Samosa chat. The Vada Pav was served cold initially and upon request she agreed to get a fresh reasonably hot one. But taste wise it was great with the green Chilli and the masala. The samosa chat was cold as well and less spicy hence was not that great. Coming on the Cheese Maggi. It was listed as part of the normal menu and I ordered it. To my surprise just as the name says, it was just plain Masala Maggi with some cheese. That's it. No vegetables no peas no carrot nothing else. Just plain Maggi. I was shell shocked. I requested the waitress some cilantro and onions in a cup and she offered me without being hesitant. When I checked out I told her the Maggi could have been a lot better and creative and she came up with this: "Cheese Maggi is actually for kids and since kids don't prefer Vegetables we don't add anything" . That was a shocker for me as it was not listed under Kids menu or mentioned 'For Kids' anywhere. And even if it is, why wasn't I made aware of the fact that it's for kids and comes with literally nothing! But she was kind enough to give me the vegetables so I could prepare my kind of Maggi on the table and yes she patiently heeded to my feedback. The ambience of the restaurant is always good with good lighting and ample space. Not so crowded during the nights based on my experience. The tables are kept clean most of the time and the service has increased by leaps and bounds ever since they changed to this lady cashier. BOTTOMLINE: Overall a very nice and a feel good family fine dining restaurant in the heart of Alpharetta with exclusive Vegetarian option and plenty of North Indian delicacies and at a very reasonable price. MUST TRY: Kaju paneer masala, Garlic Naan, Tawa Pulao, HaraBara Kebab, Samosa Chaat, Malai Kofta, Samosa

Since When did misal have all these vegetables ???
    Ssd P.

My husband went there last night to get an order of 3 vadapavs and 1 plate misal pav.... First of it took them a full 30 mins to make 3 vada pavs while we waited for our order to be fulfilled ....since the vada pav was filling we ended up not eating the misal or even checking it lastnight.... we opened it this afternoon to enjoy some misal pav and we were shocked to discover there was no misal it was sambar with veggies.... We are from Maharashtra and know the taste difference between a misal and sambar, just because we were the last customers of the day doesn't mean you charge us for one dish and hand us something else... The one star is for the vadapav which I feel was too expensive for price

Have no clue but it was waaaay too spicy to eat when I asked for low on the spicy heat

I placed an online order, and it was ready in 15 minutes, which was impressive given how much I ordered. The food was nicely packaged, beautifully presented, and tasted great. I ordered enough for three days: * Fried Oyster Mushrooms ($12.95): Lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and a large portion. Next time, I'll ask for the yum yum and soy-based sauces on the side. My drive was over an hour, so some mushrooms got slightly soggy. They were still edible, but having the sauce separate is better for travel. * Butter Beer ($6): A delicious treat! I got the medium, but I'll definitely size up next time. * Chinese Broccoli ($12.95): Another large serving. It comes with steamed rice, but I upgraded to fried rice for an extra $2. I also added chili oil on the side for $0.50. * Spider Roll ($10.95): Pretty good, a decent size, and sliced thin. * BBQ Pork Fried Rice ($14.50): One of my favorite entrees they serve. Very large portion and delicious. My total was $68.44 for three days of food, including tax, service fee, and tip. The order was ready right at the estimated pickup time. The service was great, and I was greeted warmly when I walked in. Everything traveled well for over an hour and reheated beautifully over the next couple of days. It's great to see they're still producing delicious vegetarian food. For those who know, they know, but if you haven't been, go check out Vegreen!

We got the: - BBQ Chicken Drumsticks: The drumsticks were thick, smoky, and slightly stringy- definitely reminiscent of real chicken. The sauce was on the sweeter side, but still tasty. - Teppan Tofu Bibimpak: Came out sizzling! The tofu was crispy on the outside, almost custard-like on the inside. The sauce was savory goodness. - Black Pepper Steak Udon: Steak was nicely chewy, udon well-cooked, strong pepper essence. - Truffle Fried Rice: Crazy enough, this might be the best fried rice I've ever eaten. Such a unique combination of ingredients including black truffle, avocado, pine nuts, chestnut, mushroom, and green beans. Cool presentation too. - BBQ Pork Fried Rice: Right amount of sweetness with good wok hei. - Tempura Shrimp Roll: Tasted classic, liked that it had fried enoki mushroom in addition to mock shrimp. Ambiance is casual and spacious, lots of parking up front. Service is fast and friendly. To note, they have an automatic 18% service charge. Also, if you spend $30 in one transaction, you get $10 VG cash for next time (no minimum purchase necessary, expires within 10 days). As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(
