I am visiting family in Georgia and my cousin took me to this Mexican restaurant. Oh my It was soo good!! It is a walk up to the counter type of establishment. It is an open concept eatery with indoor and outdoor eating space. We ordered with the cashier but you can also order online or at the kiosk in store. I ordered 1 chicken tinga street taco and 1 regular chicken street taco. My cousin ordered 3 steak street tacos. We added the sauces of our choice from the sauce bar. The tacos were so flavorful. I preferred the regular chicken taco than the chicken tinga. We went again 2 days later and we ordered the tostada, the gym burrito and a chicken torta. My cousin said the bread was a a little hard for his liking, but the flavor was well. My other cousin really enjoyed the gym burrito and i enjoyed the tostada. The tostada is quite messy so i probably wouldn't get that again. However, this place does not disappoint and was a great find. I would visit it again and again and again. read more

Second time to Beto's and it was great again! I had 3 street tacos - Tinga, Camaron (blackened shrimp), and Pescado (fish). Enjoyed them all especially the Tinga. My husband had the 3 Birria Taco with consommé and they were SO GOOD! We also loved the Tosta-Guac! We like sitting on the patio and enjoying the retro music. This will be our "go to" place for great, tasty, easy meal - and they have beer! read more

Not overly salty at all, honestly one of the juiciest tacos I've had. The meat was flavorful without being too salty, and the tacos were loaded. Beto Burrito: My husband had this one and said, "No complaints," so that's a win. Guac: Fresh and tasty, though it needed a little extra lime. The only downside was the sweet tea, it tasted off. What a good lunch find! My Torta was yummy with good-quality bread and awesome flavor. I loved the self-serve salsa bar--it's such a surprise to have so many options to pack and take to the table! The chips and queso were the perfect start. It was very crowded inside and smelled a bit like a drain needed to be serviced. We ate outside in the patio with was clean and no one was outside. Good parking Friendly staff Somewhat clean but they were very busy, which is why I was surprised that our food came out cold. The big green salsa Burrito was huge, had good flavors but it was cold inside. The tacos are very small, carne asada one had maybe a teaspoon of meat same for the barbacoa. Both meats were seasoned well but were cold and dry. They had live music on the patio which was a nice touch. For the price and the quality of the food, it's a bit overpriced. read more

Went to the Alpharetta location for lunch yesterday and got the al pastor tacos, my standard for new places. Lots of filling and tasty but too dry for my taste, needed lots of water to wash it down. Service is counter and efficient. I did not realize until yesterday that Beto's was a chain but they are all over this area. Might give another location a try. read more

Flavourful in big bold letters on the website is a WILD overstatement. I ordered 4 tacos - oh so bland. Zero flavour whatsoever and somehow they were the driest and wettest tacos at the same time. The Betos potatoes were better but not that much better I love fries but about a third of them were way over fried. The chips tasted like old oil. The salsa has absolutely no flavour. I also got the Pollo Norteño Especialidad which I've not eaten yet. I have an idea of what it will be like. $63 including tip, you'd think the food would taste great! For sure not going back. At least the people were nice there. Update: The Pollo Norteño was actually really good so that takes my review from a 1 to a 2. Didn't make up for the $63 I spent and had only 1 good dish read more

Unless you're going to an authentic Mexican taqueria on Buford Hwy, fast food tacos are pretty limited. RReal Tacos does a good job and so does Beto's. Prices are similar and sizes are the same. Went in the other day for lunch and got four tacos. Carnitas, Pastor, Fish, and then a pork stewed taco. All of them were good but, the pastor was just ok. New Mexican place on windward pkwy. Tucked inside the complex with plenty of parking. Plenty of indoor seating and some patio as well. They have quiet a few options to choose from. We got the chicken, mushroom, pork tacos. The chips & salsa were complimentary. Fresh warm chips! While running errands, I stopped by on a lark a few months ago, and was delighted with the friendly and attentive service. Their food was delicious and had generous portions. I was pleased to see a bar with several types of complimentary salsas with traditional Mexican vegetable garnishes. The tables and surroundings were neat and clean. On my second visit, I was just as happy as the first time! It is refreshing to see a family business owner who truly cares about his customers! Wonderful new spot in Alpharetta, off of Windward Parkway. Went Monday for an opening and they had a free tasting plate that was delicious and a great way to try Beto's. We were familiar with Beto's from the John's Creek location but were happy to see they were opening one in Alpharetta. I love their burritos and the tacos we had that day were so fresh and plenty of options to choose from. Expensive and subpar. For nearly $4 for a single taco, i would expect more flavor and/or larger portions. Service is slow, with wait times for take-out service stretching often to 15 minutes or longer. Have had to wait 30+ minutes on a previous visit. Orders are often incomplete as well, with even the manager overlooking items on tickets. Salsa containers are very small, capable of fitting maybe a tablespoon of salsa per container. If you want their larger container of salsa (sub-8oz), they charge nearly $6 for the Chips and Salsa package. Twice now i have paid the up-charge and not received the salsa container. On today's order, I was provided with enough salsa to barely coat half a dozen chips or so. I've tried on multiple occasions to give this restaurant a chance, but I will not be returning. There are other local spots that provide better food and service for a better price. read more

Ordered veggie street tacos.and nachos to go. By the time I came.home 10 mins later it was soggy nachos, not comestible anymore. We tried to salvage as much as we can. I dont understand when restaurants will learn to provide toppings on the side specifically for to go order. I see this issue with all restaurants. Tacos were ok, a little more seasoning would flavor up. A little thought can make the experience better. No more nachos to go in future. Really good spot in Alpharetta off of Windward Parkway/400. Street tacos were really good and tasty as I ordered the slow-roasted Beef Brisket, Chorizo and Steak. The cheese dip was spot on as well. Second visit I ordered the Gym Chicken Burrito which was HUGE!! It was really good and the service is impeccable. They also have a great salsa bar. The manager, who was a guy there running around so I figured he was the manager, is very in tune with what to get you if you need something, etc. Will definitely return again since it's close to home. I absolutely love that this place is slowly expanding to other locations. I would frequently go to Johns creek one which would get so crowded, so I'm happy they have another location in Alpharetta. The restaurant is located near the LA Fitness on Windward Parkway and has plenty of seating inside and outside in comparison to the Johns creek one. I went with the Beto's chicken burrito and loved that it came with free chips and salsa. We got our food pretty quickly along with free chips refills. The burrito was cooked to perfection and much better than Chipotle or Moe's and super filling. I also liked the assortment of salsas they have to go with the chips. The service was also amazing as one of the employees kept checking on us which was super sweet! After having Beto's, I'm sure you'll forget all about Moe's and Chipotle! read more

We loved the toppings bar and the variety of salsas matches the variety of authentic types of tacos on the menu. I had the most flavorful and authentic lunch at Beto's! I ordered the taco tinga along with the taco Cochinita Pibil. One of the best/unexpected treats was the free chips and salsa/toppings bar!!! So many options between mild to spicy. I paired my lunch with fresh mango juice. However I was eyeing the horchata as well.
