    Came here on a Friday night while visiting Atlanta. The place was popping so reservation is almost required. Beet carpaccio: the beets were sweet and refreshing. It was topped with whipped feta that was super airy. Stuffed branzino: the fish was perfectly charred and deboned which made it very easy to eat. Chicken harissa: this was our group's favorite dish of the night. It was perfectly spiced and had a nice kick to it. Sabzi polo: basmati rice topped with fried scallions. This goes perfectly well with the chicken and Bronzino. Pistachio lava cake: this was a delightful to an amazing meal. The cake has molten white chocolate filling and topped with cardamom ice cream. It was perfectly sweetened and not too heavy. This was the top meal of this trip!

    It was my first time coming here and the food did not disappoint. Our server was amazing. She was tentatively checking up on us and made great recommendations. The ambiance was nice and overall experience was great.

    absolutely wonderful first time dining experience here!! the staff and especially our server Tyler was incredibly welcoming and attentive!! our group was there to celebrate a friend moving into town and Tyler made our friend feel special by brining us ice cream at the end and wrote her a nice note on a postcard. aside from the phenomenal service, the ambiance inside is cozy, intentionally decorated, and inviting. the food was also unforgettable - we had the hummus, condiment trio with garlic sauce, pickled veggies, and harissa. The garlic sauce now holds a special place in my heart because it was just that good!! We also got the plain rice with the amazingly crunchy tahdig and our main entrees was the koobideh kabob and Harrisa chicken. Normally I don't care for speciality chicken dishes but Tyler recommended it and I'm so glad we listened. That chicken was so flavorful, perfectly cooked, and paired perfectly with everything else. We finished off our meal with the ice cream and pistachio lava cake. From the welcoming staff to the unforgettable a to the amazing food, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and would happily return any time! #teamtyler

    We came for a birthday dinner. Our reservation was at 7. There is complimentary valet and a parking lot behind the restaurant. We had to wait a bit but it gave us time to take pictures outside in the floral entrance. Service was attentive. Apps came out fast and it was a little busy so a small wait for our drinks. We ordered and shared everything which is the norm for this place. My favorite was the salmon kabob. The wings had a nice char on it. The hummus was really fresh. Everything was really fresh. For the birthday girl they brought out vanilla ice cream with rose and pistachios. It was really good too.

    Delbar is one of my favorites and we stopped in here for a celebratory brunch with friends. We ordered: Kashk bademjoon: smoky, creamy, eggplant deliciousness. Chicken kofta: the meat was very tender and the flavor was so good. Koobideh & egg: my friend raved about it the whole day. Salmon kabab: woah, this was really really good. Pistachio lava cake: well, we drove farther from the nearest Delbar location just for this one thing. One of the top desserts I've ever had. French toast: the orange, cream, bread concoction does work - but it's big so get it if you can share. All in all, Delbar does guarantee a happy belly and a happier heart! The service was good and the whole place is very very picturesque. Perfect for celebrations.

    Might have become my top Mediterranean restaurant in the Atlanta area. All of the locations have been just divine, but this one around Alpharetta might be my favorite. The ambiance, decor and overall vibe is very upscale. Service was top notch, from the host to our server. Big shoutout to Kaleigh/Kaylie who was the sweetest and gave us the best recommendations. I always order the grilled wings because these are to die for, definitely a must!!! All of the dips in smaller orders we got were delicious with the complimentary bread, Muhammara with the walnut is my new obsession. For main entrées, we went with the Honey Harissa Chicken and the Lamb Neck along with an order of the buttery rice to share, with no regrets. The Harissa chicken was a classic spin, perfectly seasoned and paired with pickled onions and salad. The lamb neck was so home-y and rich, falling off the bone, with a perfect broth for the buttery rice. For dessert, we opted for the classic Baklava, solid classic one paired with rose water ice cream, and the Turkiramisú, which was a pleasant surprise, paired with turkish coffee such a delight. Overall an amazing dinner, perfect for solo, date night or groups. Parking is complimentary valet or self parking in the medical center next door.

    Delbar in Alpharetta is a beautiful dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a stunning atmosphere, with a warm, elegant design that makes it feel special the moment you walk in. The food is just as impressive, with rich Persian flavors, beautifully plated dishes, and plenty of standout options like the hummus, kashk bademjoon, koobideh, adas polo, and pistachio icecream. The portions are satisfying, the presentation is thoughtful, and the menu makes it easy to share and try a little of everything. Service is generally attentive and professional, and the overall vibe works well for date nights, celebrations, or a memorable dinner out.

    My sister introduced us to this restaurant and we were so impressed! We ordered a salad, dill labneh, five meat dishes and two polo (rice) dishes for 6 people and oh my we were happy & stuffed and had leftovers galore. Our server was Lina and she was very attentive and gave great recommendations for food! We sat indoors and the ambiance was upscale. The outdoor area was adorable w covered seats within see-through igloos for colder weather days.

    Heard a lot of good things about Delbar and it is a beautiful restaurant. Staff are very knowledgeable on the menu and are more than happy to help cater an order to your tastes since the menu can be overwhelming. Everything was seasoned well and cooked well. I really enjoyed the rice dish and the meat was very juicy. I would love to come back again to try more things on the menu.

    I finally have a chance to try this place out. I absolutely loved the flower when you first walk in. Beautiful and I liked how the valet helped us take a picture. The staff wasn't too memorable in my opinion. They weren't rude, but they also weren't friendly. Our server was great though. She definitely took care of us when we had problems with our food. The vegetarian food was delicious. I loved the falafel so much, I loved how flavorful it was. It didn't taste dry at all honestly, it saved our dinner. I used the hummus and made it into a little wrap. It was delicious! If I had to come back here, it would literally only be for the falafel. I personally thought the hummus was bland as well as the safron tahjid. There was no flavor in the rice. Which was a little disappointing because we did have to order the rice with a lot of anticipation. The crispy part was supposed to carry all the flavor and it was very lackluster. We got a signature dip as well. I can't remember the name, but it wasn't bad. The initial taste was really good, this dip in the picture was good I just don't really like super sweet dips. So the more I ate it the more it started tasting like diabetes in a bowl. My friend swears we should have gone to the Buckhead location. However, a lot of of my friends have all consensually agreed that the meat at Delbar is nasty. I'm sorry I'm not trying to hate on a whole business, but Whether it's the Atl location, Alpharetta or buckhead there's just something wrong with the meat. This is amongst six other people and six separate visits. It seems like we all had to get the meat taken off of our tab. Four out of the six that I've spoken to have agreed it was the beef. The other two said they got raw chicken. I tried so hard to like this place. The chenjeh, which was the beef sirloin kebabs was disgusting. The meat smelled weird and it tasted gammy. My stomach started to hurt after half a bite. I eat and cook a lot of beef so it tasted like the steak was not stored properly and it was starting to spoil. Which is crazy because the initial taste before leaving it in your mouth too long the seasoning tasted fine. The chicken was very lackluster also had a smell, but it wasn't spoiled . I just didn't wanna eat it. I sincerely think the beef sirloin kebabs ruined me wanting to eat meat for the next few days. Our server took the beef line off our tab, but we kept the chicken on there because it was edible. Just not good. Like I said, I appreciated our server, I really tried hard to like this place. She was very understanding. I wasn't trying to be difficult, but I sincerely felt sick after eating the beef. I don't even think I ate a full bite. Our experience wasn't a complete disaster, but I do have to still give them a two because the only thing I thoroughly enjoyed was the falafel. I probably wouldn't come here again, unless I was craving the falafel.

    Delbar is a Persian restaurant with 3 locations around the Atlanta area. Food is delicious. I got the Kashk Bademjoon, Sabzi Polo, and Salmon Kabob and shared it with 1 person with plenty of leftovers. Service was ridiculously slow while waiting to be seated despite having a reservation but improved once we were seated. Buckhead location was better with timely seating. Beautiful exterior and interior, though the place is small for how busy it can get.

    We brought some guests to the Old Milton location of Delbar recently, and while the night had some "interesting" service moments, the kitchen absolutely saved the day. Overall, the meal was a standout. The Sea Bass was the star of the show--it was like butter and genuinely redefined how I think about sea bass. It is a "must-eat" item. We also loved the Chinjeh; it's cooked so perfectly and the flavors are so elevated that I actually thought it was chicken until I cut into it. The Chicken Kofta and Salmon Kabob were both seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the Adas Polo featured a fantastic tahdig that was crunchy and incredibly flavorful. We started with the Hummus, which was solid (the crunchy chickpeas are a nice touch), but the only miss was the Omani Shrimp. It tasted a bit burnt and lacked seasoning, though the green sauce helped. This is where things got a bit funny. Our server was in such an intense rush that she was grabbing appetizer plates out from under us before we were even finished eating! It was a bit embarrassing since we had guests with us, but it was so over-the-top that we couldn't even get mad--we just had to laugh. It seemed like she was just having a major "off" day. The vibe here is spot on. From the moment you walk in, the open space and the aroma of Persian spices let you know you're in for a treat. The lighting is perfectly on point for a nice dinner out. Despite the rush-job service, the food is good enough that I'd absolutely go back, especially for that Chicken Kofta and Sea Bass. Hopefully, next time we can keep our plates until we're actually done!

    we had reservations at 9 on a sunday and it was packed. abdullah was our server for the majority of our visit then rachel took over. david was hospitable and took our pictures out front after dinner. all of the staff were great. we started with taftoun and a sabzi plate, dill labneh and garlic toum. for our meals, i ordered the joojeh kabob (chicken) while my friend ordered the chicken kofta. everything was absolutely delicious, although we both preferred the kabob. we also shared the sabzi polo which has so many flavors perfectly complimenting each other. everything was extremely fresh, tasty and leaves you wanting more. taftoun 10/10 sabzi plate 10/10 dill labneh 10/10 sabzi polo 10/10 joojeh kabob (chicken) 10/10 chicken kofta 9.5/10 i loved delbar and it's on my list to visit every time i'm in atlanta. their food is amazing, ambiance is unforgettable, service is superb. ambiance: 5/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 delbar middle eastern: 5/5

    Which of the meats served are halal?

    Cornish hen, lamb shank and the beef sirloin. It's listed on their menu which are halal. The servers are also very knowledgeable and can tell you how each are prepared when you visit.

    What are the herbs that come with the complimentary bread, cheese and walnuts?

    I believe it's tarragon. Can't remember if they also use mint or just the tarragon.

    Would you recommend the shishlik or the lamb neck?

    The lamb neck is good but because of the plum sauce it is cooked in it does have a different flavor... but I liked it!

This is not the baklava you'd buy at the grocery store and was the perfect end to our meal. It's not overly sweet and is balanced with a slight savory flavor, and the texture was fantastic. There was a depth of flavor in everything that shows care and consideration while crafting the menu at Zakia. You can also see this care in the decor and ambience. It was all so delicious and entrees come with free, fresh baked pita which is so light. The portion was very filling. I enjoyed myself, and would come back.
