Good food , quick service & courteous!. Authentic usuals such as Chimmi Changas. They also have several Mexican Cocktails.

Zero stars. Ordered food for pick up, my husband went to pick up and waited about an hour before giving up because it was chaos. I understand that it's cinco de mayo. It's busy, but if you can't accommodate then turn off the ability to order pickup on the delivery apps or whatever service you utilize for pickup orders. read more

I ordered a quesadilla with grilled chicken and I got a tortilla folded with stuff in it I got nothing else on the plate at all. The quesadilla wasn't even cut. This is terrible. I would never order from them again. read more

First time here and for the most part, everything was great. Friendly staff. Food was great. HOWEVER, epic fail on the HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY and willingness to show any concern or desire to resolve the problem. I use a walker and my mother is in a wheelchair. We parked in handicap spot. The spot between handicap spots has a ramp that is painted w lines, however, it is directly in front of a parking space which is not marked as "no parking" and no lines painted on actual spot. While in restaurant someone parked there, blocking access to the ramp. When we came out of restaurant, we could not use the ramp to get the wheelchair or walker down into parking lot. Had to tip wheelchair w my 75 yr old mom in it, over the curb. When I went inside to let restaurant know this was an issue, i was told "you just need to be patient and wait for them to leave." We should not get trapped at a restaurant waiting. We had other places to be and were forced into a dangerous situation to get down the curb w no ramp. This business needs to mark the spot w the ramp as "no parking" or paint full spot w lines so that ramp access is preserved and people dont get trapped in the restaurant unable to leave. Or forced to dangerously push a wheelchair off a curb. read more

Sometimes I forget to review some of my favorite places close to home ‍ Been here multiple times in the last few years. We walk to it from our house. They have a "patio" sometimes--just tables set up in the parking lot lol but it is outside. Again, only sometimes...we do live in the Midwest Food is awesome. Only complaint on food is they don't have street corn, one of my favorites. I always get the shrimp and scallops and they never disappoint. My husband gets different things and he's always happy. Chips and salsa are good too! Service is always great! Even when you get take out. Please note: they give to go margarita cups Ambiance is...fine...I wouldn't say it's a date kind of place. It's an old fast food restaurant ya know? I do recommend this place for food and service though! read more

Was in town looking for a mexican restaurant to try out (its been a while since Ive been in the area). Took a chance on this place because of the reviews, and was then even MORE excited once I sat down and saw vegetarian AND vegan options!! To offer soy meat and vegan cheese, especially outside of STL, is a RARE and special treat - I was SO thankful to have some street tacos. The chips and salsa were good, but I think the first batch of chips fried too long. Cant wait to return! read more

They show 3 tacos in the picture for the street tacos. It specifies "tacos" as in plural but they only sent 1. They don't understand English enough to function in an English speaking society. Do not order from them. read more

I had the rolled tacos and they were delicious! The server was sharp and the margarita was muy bueno!

Went to pick up my order. The worker handled my debit card, a calculator, went back there where I could see the entire time, handled cheesecake with bare hands, then put the cheesecake back in the package to put in the freezer, all without gloves or hand washing. Gross. Do NOT eat here. They claimed they used the packaging to handle the food but definitely did not...it was bare hands on cheesecake without hand washing. read more

I ordered uber eats and I ordered a chicken burrito with churros for deseret. I will say this hands the worst place ever!!!! my burrito was 90% peppers and onions and maybe 5% chicken!!! now my churros are even worse it's a churro with no sugar and no cinnamon it had no flavor at all!! Stopped in after church, hopin' and prayin' they would have something that would be breakfast-like or brunch-like, and THEY DO! I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and hubby ordered the special which was a 3 taco plate. They were kind enough to let him have one of each (chicken, beef, and shrimp). We both enjoyed our meals, and I got a flavored margarita to go with mine. TASTY! The service was good, our server was originally from Bolivia. He talked about his favorite dish from there. Would be so cool if they'd incorporate other Latino dishes into their menu every once in a while! Our server was so helpful. I was having a hard time communicating my order and he was very patient while we got through it together. Food was ok but chicken in the tacos tasted solely of salt and a lot of it. Chips weren't super fresh (I'd bet these are from a food service company and not made at Mi Casa) and crunchy taco shells were also pretty chewy. I'm pretty picky about Mexican food as I grew up eating some of the best. The food here tastes like it was made with fresh ingredients and the flavors don't run together. They don't pack everything with rice as a filler, instead using generous amounts of beef, pork and chicken. We ordered a chimichanga (fried burrito), Chile poblano (stuffed mild chili), enchiladas, the little tacos, and all were excellent. We celebrated a birthday and there was a special dessert and singing! What really makes this place though are the people. The owner-manager is very involved, and everyone is friendly and helpful without hovering over you. Great place! read more

I have no idea how this place has 4-5 stars. The food was so mediocre and didn't taste authentic, i'm not sure if people are so use to taco bell that they call this heaven. I had the enchilada and taco combination and neither stood out, neither did the chips and salsa. They are fast as far as getting you your food and the service is great, I just cannot give this place three stars as I would never come back. This place has some really crowded seating. The food was about the best Mexican food we've ever tasted (We're from the Chicago suburbs). We have a lot of Mexican restaurants near us, so saying this means a lot. Idk if it's because we ordered through DoorDash, even though that shouldn't matter, the food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered a side of jalapeños. What kind of real Mexican place serves pickled jalapeños?! Where are the fresh cut up ones? My burrito was soggy and disgusting. My husbands "chalupa" was a crunchy taco but they put it in the sauce of another dish we ordered so that was insanely soggy and disgusting as well. Chips are definitely not made fresh. Not even good store bought chips either! The $1 bag of tortilla chips I get at dollar general tasted better than theirs. read more

Understanding what this place is proves crucial to appreciating what it has to offer. Ambiance is minimal, it's an old Wendy's I think, but the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is not what I would call authentic, but for midwestern Mexican it truly hits the spot. Reasonably priced and fast service makes this a great family spot or when pressed for time. Start with Choriqueso dip. Right amount of spice and creaminess to please all. It's a must for our trips. The Chile Verde is tasty, can't go wrong with the mi casa tacos (large and fried!) either. I still haven't had a bad meal and I have been here multiple times and eaten everything from chimi's to enchiladas and chicken. My wife loves the chicken dish with the chorizo on top. I never order it though cause I just steal bites of hers! Great place to stop and support on the west end. Good food, excellent service and priced right. read more

Service is FAST and friendly! Gear place to go for quick lunch or dinner. Food is tasty although sometimes dishes come out more bland than I would prefer..nothing a little salt and pepper can't fix. Servers are attentive and friendly..but not overly attentive. They call you amigo and I like that. american servers won't great you and call you friend! Food was very good and arrived quickly. I didn't taste any blandness as described by other yelpers. The complimentary salsa was great and always refilled without asking. Friendly wait staff. It is a bit cramped but it is in an old Wendy's restaurant,so there you go.. Dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids (ordering off the kids menu) was $27.00. Not bad at all. We've been eating here since they converted it from a Wendy's. Recently, they removed all the promotional artwork on the windows and it really helped to class-up the place. They have also updated the dining room furniture. Waitstaff is very good. Drinks are excellent. We always try the items advertised on the walls instead of ordering off the menu. Everytime I come here the food is great, the service is impeccable and timely. I don't think I've had to wait longer than 10 minutes after placing my order for my god. And even those 10 minutes fly by because there are chips and salsa at your table almost immediately. Great music and ambiance, and great people. 10/10 recommend eating here if you are a fan of Mexican food. Or just good food in general. P.S. the prices are unbeatable! read more
