Omg! Wow! My brother brought me out here for a Sunday funday experience as he has eaten here before. I was blown away by the customer service and attentiveness when we arrived. Our margaritas were made to perfection. The service the service the service!! It should be commended because they were on point with it all. My margarita was a bit too sweet but it was nothing ice couldn't fix! We had the Jack honey fajitas per recommendation and my goodness was it a good one. We cleaned our plates! Next time I need to save room for dessert, As there were many options that looked delicious. I recommend coming with family or friends or a date as the environment is welcoming for all of those things. I can't wait to return.

No shrimp cocktail, no ceviche on menu, but several seafood options. Honest food & prices, nice service and atmosphere. Chips & salsa: excellent, no salt, not greasy, whole grain. Salsa has non-painful spice level. Seafood enchiladas: good portion/value, slightly salty for my taste, grilled shrimp, nice chunks of crab, orange cheese. Sauce unremarkable. Sides: chunky refrieds, substituted salad for rice, salad above average, beware hot pepper slices. Tres Leches cake: a little on the dry side for me, refreshing cream topping, chocolate syrup. Service: perfect Atmosphere: clean, spacious, nice low music, cheerful decor. Parking: off street lot

Let me start by saying the engagement and personality of the management at Mi Casa is worth at least a star on any rating. You walk in and you are immediately welcomed. "Is this your first time here?" If it is you will get the history of this family owned local establishment, how it's been here for 25 years. If you are fortunate and he's working Rocky will bend your ear for the entire time you're there. He'll ask where your from, talk to you about how the restraint is about being a good family place, not just a good Mexican restaurant. Rocky is just a good human that has spent I'd life on the local area. Now let's talk about the food. Everything comes out of the kitchen piping hot and fresh. On this visit I wasn't particularly hungry so I just went for a tortilla soup. It's one of the best you will have, full of flavor, just delicious. Pair it with a house Margarita and you are in heaven. And if you are into spice the chips and salsa will come with a little orange container of house made habanero salsa. It's supper Spivey and. Very very flavorful. This is a simple family Mexican place. You're not going to get fancy decor, candle light, or anything like that. You are going to get an honest, hard working, family restaurant with really solid food. And maybe a great conversation along with your meal.

We had a wonderful time here. They have a great vibe going and a wonderful and friendly staff. The food was delicious and the classic margaritas were even better! Will be back. Homemade chips and salsa. Isn't the "bowl" for Salsa cute?

I was craving guacamole and had actually pulled into the Chipotle parking lot when I spied this restaurant across the street and thought: why not? I was seated and brought the obligatory chips and salsa while I looked over the menu. The chips appeared to be homemade and possibly from stoneground corn which I really enjoyed. A nice change from the flat, tasteless chips at other restaurants. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and this is probably where I went wrong. These quesadillas are some sort of stewed chicken thing mixed with cheese? They are tasteless, sloppy and disappointing. An accurate description of this item would have caution me against ordering it. Prices were a bit high ($12.95) for the quesadillas. Service was ok but not enough for a return trip.

We love their chicken fajitas so we decided to order the chicken JD fajitas and they were amazing! The meat was tender and juicy, tortillas were fresh and the best I have ever had! The complimentary chips and salsa that come with your meal are the best in town! I love trying different Mexican Restaurants but nothing beats Mi Casa! I take my two toddlers and they love it too....

We've seen it from Columbia to Finksburg MD! This time we found them at an event in Savage Park in Savage MD, (Jun 2026), in a cluster of trucks gathered in a corner of the parking lot next to one of the fields in a little league tournament. We already had hot dogs before we saw the DMV truck, and we had no regrets, but also no room for more. But we love love these birria tacos. Tender, juicy, flavorful, with lots of consommé on the side for dunking. We got some to take home, and they reheated really well, losing none of the flavors or aromas, just losing some of the crispiness of the taco shell. They were a glorious mess! We got an order of flavorful shrimp tacos, too. Scrumptious! Generous! They had birria, chicken, shrimp, or veggie tacos or quesadillas or burritos or rice-bowls, loaded fries, even a birria grilled cheese, birria empanadas, or a birria or combo hoagie! That's like a week of comfort foods to choose from! Beverages include Jarritos, and they have churros for dessert with sipping chocolate. Where will we seem them next! And will we venture past the birria tacos? Stay tuned :-)

They have tables set up if you don't want to take your food to go or eat in your car. The service is pretty quick. I might of waited ten minutes for my order of chicken tacos. I'm not a corn tortilla lover but however they make their tortillas have changed my mind. The first time tried them they had a crisp text to them. They reminded me of a soft chip. There is no gritty taste to them. The chicken is seasoned down! It's so tednder and flavorful. I liked the red and the green sauce. I just poured it all over everything. I'll try something else the next time I pass through.

I don't normally drink when I go out but I was feeling a bit wild that night. She recommended a drink called "la suegra", I'm not to sure how to describe it but it was very nice. It scratched the back of my throat in a pleasant way, I had to order a second one. I then ordered food, which I was a little intimidated by the scale of their menu. The tacos asada were delicious, and the paired salsa was amazing. I ordered a red salsa against my better judgment and found to spicy, but the flavor was still spot on. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere, not used to such welcoming staff in Maryland. I just want to draw attention back to the wonderful bar staff, the young lady was very on it. Even in the rush she was very attentive and kept up her friendly attitude. I never got a chance to speak to the gentleman working with her but he was just as busy as she was. The customers he was assisting looked as happy as me. Great job soluna, you guys really live up to the name "tequila bar". First of all the customer service was superb! The bartender even took the time to walk next door a grab me a tres leches cake since they were out in the restaurant. I got 1 each ofbeans/cheese and pork/cheese pupusas, menudo soup, and 2 pork tamales (they were out of chicken). It came with rice, cabbage, onions, cilantro, and a variety of sauces and salsa. I was craving tamales, I'm from the south, and thought this would do the trick. It didn't, completely different. But that was my own failed wishful thinking. I love Latin American food and everything was ok to me. I could tell it was all homemade and the soup was my favorite. The tres leches was different from what I'm used to. It didn't have as much extra milk and it had peaches. It was ok but I prefer the regular way better. Would I came back? Yes and try the tacos and maybe the chicken. Plus like I said the customer service was outstanding! And next time I think I'll eat in the restaurant instead of taking it to go.
