Went back recently and it was a much better experience. While the food in the past was a bit disappointing everything at this last visit was very good. We got the supreme dip and the chimichangas. It was Mother's Day and they gave me a free dessert which was so sweet.

Mi Casa was a great try! I ordered the Birria Tacos and I liked them. I think they could use more seasoning but after adding some pepper, salt, and salsa, it was good to go! I had a strawberry house margarita frozen, and I liked that and didn't need any more if you know what I mean. Overall great service and good ambiance!

Great service, fast and efficient. Great atmosphere and tons of seating inside and out. I ordered the Peluza, which is absolutely delicious - I got the texanas which has shrimp, steak and chicken. Parking is a parking lot with tons of space. Definitely recommend this place.

I stopped in here for an early lunch. This is a sister restaurant to one in Lexington. This spot is bigger than you would think, and rather plainly decorated. I ordered the Enchiladas Super Rancheras - a handful of small enchiladas filled with ground beef, shredded beef, chicken, cheese and beans. These are plated on a rich ranchero sauce and topped with lettuce, diced tomato, and sour cream. The complimentary chips and salsa were both bland. The enchiladas were just ok, nothing stood out except the ranchero sauce which was, in fact, excellent. Ambiance - 3.5 Food - 3 Service - 4 Value -2.5

I haven't been to Mi Casa before... but I was looking for a take-out dinner in the area. They use an online ordering system, which can be scheduled for later... quite a nice feature. I ordered mid-day for a dinner pickup. When I arrived at 6pm, the restaurant was bustling and people were waiting to be seated. That's a good sign. My pickup order was ready and waiting, so I took it out. I ordered tacos al pastor, which are so common, but also are great when done right. It's a good test of how americanized the food will be. My tacos came with a side of rice and beans. The tacos also came with cilantro and diced onion. They are great tacos honestly. I am always looking for the real thing, the better flavor, and these tacos brought it! The beans and rice also had lots of flavor, which is not normal. Often the sides are just bland filler food, but I was happily surprised. I didn't taste the other food, but we also had a chicken taco salad, which came in a taco bowl/shell and an order of chicken nachos. There was a side of cheese dip along with chips and salsa. Overall, I'd definitely come back. If the whole menu is as good as my food was, I can see why Mi Casa is so busy. Good for them.

Consistent, fast, great prices, nice people, and good food makes it a great lunch stop. I've ordered quite a few lunch specials here and they've always been good. The servers are always kind and the food comes out fast every time. It's a great spot for a quick and reasonable Mexican lunch!

Love love loveee the tacos and margaritas here!! The tacos are flavorful, margaritas hit wonderfully. It physically heals me after a long day. The hot salsa is just the right amount of spicy and it's amazing. Service is excellent and drinks are amazing.

Another strip mall Mexican restaurant? Yes but it's a good one! Huge inside, Mi Casa, is a pleasant surprise. Staffed well, rare these days, mostly family I think. We had several servers catering to us. All super helpful. Yes it does have the standard Mexican restaurant menu, and it's huge! The margaritas first! I got the classic, iced, perfectly limey and salty. Then the rest of the table had a coconut margarita, strawberry and mango margaritas. All also available frozen, and much larger ones if you prefer! My vegetarians shared the burrito vegetarian, massive roll of broccoli, onions, mushrooms and green peppers, with refried beans inside. Comes with guacamole, salsa verde, and sour cream. Very shareable! Tasty, and well seasoned. Only thing was the veggies were all chunky, would suggest they chop them up a bit more! I got the enchiladas verde, shredded chicken, salsa verde, rice and beans. Loved this, I was throughly stuffed quarter of the way through. Lots of chicken, loved the salsa verde. Rice was really nicely seasoned too. And not oily like a lot of places. Great entree. Another entree we had was the enchiladas rancheros trio, one cheese , one chicken, one steak, guacamole rice and beans. Nice trio. Very good, great to have the variety. The chips and salsa were really good, not oily chips! The salsa was so good, I asked for the hotter sauce and that almost made me cry! Mix the regular with the hot and it was perfect. The service was great and the food wonderful. One of the better places with that mainstream Mexican menu. Really enjoyed it here. Very reasonable prices as well. Lou title outdoor patio too. And staff still wearing masks! Go get some salsa !

We hadn't been seated two seconds poof chips, and don't blink what would you like to drink. Service, something that was no where to be found last time. I ordered the burrito Mexicano, my wife in her need for spice ordered the shrimp Diablo. The food wasn't super fast to the table, but drinks and chips got refilled. Our waitress was very nice, especially with them being a little busy. My burrito was good, the steak was tender, but I wasn't crazy about the rice and beans. My wife Diablo wasn't Diablo it was a creamy chipotle. She wasn't thrilled with it being the wrong sauce as she loves the spice. However the sauce was out of this world. Super creamy with this amazing smokey flavor. She was beyond thrilled with the massive shrimp. Our waitress apologized for the mistake in the sauce as she had put in for diablo and not sure how it got mixed up. Me I'm glad, because I want to try a ton of things with that sauce. I told the guy at check out who said they are getting new menus and I told him that needed to be on it. Glad we had heard about the management change, and came back. Will have to visit again and find things to try with that chipotle sauce!!

As soon as we entered the restaurant you felt the good vibes with the Spanish music being played in the background. We were greeted with a smile and taken right to a table. The restaurant had a couple of tables, but it seems like a lot of people do take out as well. As I looked at the menu there were a lot of different options apart from the tacos. There were tortas, chimichangas, etc. When it came time to order the food I decided to go with the tacos. I ordered 1 taco de asada, 1 taco al pastor, and 1 taco de pollo asado. I also got a agua de jamaica (Hibiscus tea) it was also very good and refreshing. While my family and I waited for our food our server brought us chips and salsa which did not disappoint. Once my food came out I was super excited to try it out. The presentation was amazing. The tortillas were homemade, the taco was loaded with onions and cilantro, they give you a good amount of limes, some radishes on the side, and bring out 2 different salsas for you to add to your taco if you would like too. Each taco was delicious and very flavorful. I would say that my favorite one had to be the taco al pastor. The seasoning was just right and it even had pineapple in there. If you are in the area I would definitely give this a try, the food and service are both so amazing. You wont be disappointed!

Moreover the food: pleaseeee try the shrimp cocktail(extremely fresh tasting and not spicy yet flavorful, LOTS OF SHRIMP INSIDE!), birria tamales( speaks for itself ‍‍‍very flavorful the maíz also had flavor and the consomé is not fatty but well seasoned, simply delicious). The birria ramen, huge chunks of barbacoa inside and served with a quesadilla, come on! Also had the empanadas de campechanas(steak with chorizo and cheese) and also an order of pulled chicken and cheese empanadas (it taste like you at you're at home eating Ma's food!!!!), pastor taco was excellent, made with actual pineapple and seasoned well but not too salty or sweet; perfect! The street corn was nice and HOT in temperature and well seasoned but not spicy and could taste the squeezed lime with the tajin cheese and mayo; yum!!!! Carnitas taco was excellent, very tender!!! Oh, hand made corn tortillas.... Come on!!! This is the place to be, I'm telling y'all‍. We got caramel churros to go, they come with some ice cream and whipped with chocolate sauce, so banger!!! Also recommend the fresh made cheese dip with the made to order chunky guacamolè aka 'Guac Mexicano' and some grilled seasoned whole jalapeños on the side(aka Torriados) Finally, would also like to highlight that all the food had very clean presentations and you can tell everything is prepped with very very well- also can tell this in the horchata and Jamaica! I have never in my life tried a perfect Jamaica like theirs- it was not bitter or sour or too sweet or too weak; absolutely perfect, please try for yourself! The chicken tacos were cooked well, but the cheese kept coagulating in the roof of my mouth. Wished it was smoother. The margaritas are ranked as follows: peach, strawberry, and passion fruit. For 12 oz, they are $7.50, which is great! The peach was fruity and tasty. Strawberry could get sickly very fast but still better than the passion fruit. The passion fruit was a thicker consistency of syrup, which threw it off a bit, and the flavor wasn't quite right. The berry sangria was missing something. It wasn't quite wine, not quite a fruit juice, and the fruit was all at the bottom, making it hard to drink. Not what we expected with the flavor profile. The quesabirria was flavorful with the beef and very tender. They definitely stuffed a lot of meat in the tacos, which will fill you up. Didn't like the cheese. It didn't pair well with the beef, and it was not enough in comparison. Overall, good tacos and would order again though. The service was fine. She was around enough for us to order more drinks and offered me a box at an appropriate time. The music wasn't too loud, barely heard over the crowd that started forming as we sat. Will try them again because the price is right.

Well, guess who makes sure there's plenty of salsa verde on your plate? Good ol' Pancho Villa, that's who. I have a certain fondness for Pancho's Green Burrito, and when I ordered that dish for lunch today there was a pool of delicious green liquid literally spilling from both sides of my plate! A bit messy for the table, yes, but far better than the scant offerings of their competitor. Pancho has long been one of my most consistent dining experiences in this city, which is why it's often the target of my attention for lunch. They get patrons seated quickly and orders filled quickly. The food is always good and there's plenty of it to enjoy. The service staff does a great job of attending to the wants and needs of their diners. It's easy to see why the place is popular -- and thus why a parking spot can be tough to find around lunch time.
