Delicious Food and service was great will definitely be coming back next time im in the area

This small spot has a colorful if somewhat shabby exterior, in full accord with the surrounding area! The interior follows suit with low lighting and dark ceilings. There are a number of colorful wall paintings reflecting various Mexican themes, including bullfighting! The service was just ok, not at all engaging, and more than little language shaky, and less than fully focused otherwise. Getting the check took waaaaaay too long, actually paying at the cashier was also a rather lengthy process, with folks being seating who arrived after my appearance at the register. The complimentary chips and salsa arrived with a cold Corona along side. The salsa was rather chunky with a good amount of chopped white onion and a pleasant heat level. I ordered the Quesobirria Tacos ($16.99), and since it was not listed on the printed menu, I ask what, if anything, came with it. The spoke word was obviously a problem here, so I ask again, and was splutteringly told yet again, that it came with rice and beans - more on this later! The tacos were loaded with very flavorful, shredded beef, topped with chopped white onion and cilantro that was more than a bit beyond its " use by date"! The tacos had only one tortilla, light grilled at best, and came apart very quickly, requiring the use of silver ware. The overall flavor was very, very nice though, with the small amount of consommé being a real flavor booster, loaded with red chili seeds, with a nice red color. The rice and beans were barely warm, a situation I have often noted at Mexican restaurants when those items are plated separately from the entree. As to the rice and beans, there was a $3.50 charge labeled "open food" on the bill, and was told on inquiry that it was the charge for the rice and beans - not happy with that! Was there enough here to travel to here for another meal - probably not!

Not bad for a Mexican food craving fix. Great service, great for big groups, good chips and salsa too. I ordered beef chilaquiles, it was a bit rich in red sauce but chilaquiles is a very personal thing. My husband got the California burrito and enjoyed it. Just not quite there with authentic Mexican for me, still on the search for "the one". But it does satisfy the craving and I would come back. A friend of mine next to me ordered the beef fajitas and I regretted my decision when her dish came. I'll definitely order that next time.

I met a group of people here in the late afternoon and we sat in the back area of the restaurant. The service was really good and quick and the food was very good as well. I ordered #19 which was a chalupa, enchilada, and one chile poblano for $8.75 and it was good and very filling. There were other dishes the group ordered that I might get the next time I come here in the future that they said was excellent, but the food was good.

Food was great! Came out quickly and excellent service. It was a quite environment but clean. I had the grilled steak with cheese and rice. Chips and salsa were included. I enjoyed the salsa. The soft drinks are nice and crispy too. I would go again.

This restaurant is just decent. Decent service, decent food. Nothing was above average. The presentation was nice, but the steak in my burrito had a lot of gristle, which always turns me off from the rest of the meal The burrito had rice in it, but where I asked for a side of rice, they didn't put rice in the burrito.. not sure if it was a misunderstanding, but it resulted in refried bean overload for me. My mom got the taco loco and really enjoyed. The shell was crispy and she said the chicken was great! Maybe I just caught it on an off day.

Very good stuff. I'd worth going back for. The fries are good, the burrito my wife had was super delicious. They also have great house-made horchata, so good. There is a candy stand at the desk too. The service and attention to detail was amazing. The fooooood was a big star. I am on a mission to branch out and try a lot of new food this year, and today that included a bit or two of each dish ordered- An ACP dish, a burrito, a steak taco, spicy sauces, queso and chips, and my actual order- the pupusas. Everything- was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the pupusas- which I hear may be a salvadorian influenced dish? The shrimp in the different dishes was cooked perfectly- which I know from my various excursions and attempts in the world and my own kitchen- is not a guarantee. Accessibility notes: FULL stars. Various seating and options, tables and booths, room to navigate comfortably. A small ramp outside on the curb. And the bathrooms were actually fashioned correctly- in the handicap stall the bars were in the right places and at the right heights- as was the toilet paper holder- no bending necessary to access it seated. The door to the restroom was not too heavy either. Very refreshing as this is often a chaotic messed up set up at some place. The Birria tacos were really good but I do think it could use a little more flavor. I still ate every bite. The Salsa and Queso was honestly my favorite. I love Queso anyway but theirs did not disappoint. It was so hot with no lumps! Overall, I would recommend for a quick lunch date and the drinks.

I greatly appreciated that. The chips were a good quality and light, but sturdy. The salsa was refreshing and more of a mild heat level. The cheese dip was also quite good. I ordered the #12 lunch order with steak and I added grilled onions in the burrito. I got a side of rice. Overall I was very happy with my meal. The steak was a bit lower quality, but still tasted fine. Adding the grilled onions made it all even better. I wish they did not have such a huge dollop of sour cream as that took away from the cheese on top. The rice was enjoyable and in line with a lot of other Mexican restaurants. For my drink, I had a sweet tea. A personal preference is I think there was way too much ice, but the sweet tea was pretty average. My biggest pet peeve was there were no prices listed on the menu. That made no sense to me. We had gone there on a work lunch and we usually have to stay within a certain budget and I was unable to get any sense on the cost of what I was ordering. I would come back here again and it is definitely popular as the lunch hour was bumping.
