    Land and sea platter
    Julie Ying X.

I came here for lunch on a Saturday with a group of 5 people. I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to check out all the restaurants. In Sunset Park, there's a lot of Mexican and Peruvian restaurants. Ecuadorian restaurants seem pretty rare in NYC. We ordered a chicken empanada, a beef empanada, half chicken with plantains (can only order whole chicken for takeout), goat stew over rice, and the land and sea platter (grilled steak, chicken, fish, shrimp, plantains, rice, beans). We also ordered the mango and guanabana (soursop) shakes. The portions were large. I really enjoyed the chicken, goat stew, and the land and sea platter. I liked the goat stew the most. The mango shake was tasty as well. The empanadas were a bit too greasy for me. The service was a bit slow so I took off a star for that. However, the place was pretty full and they only had 2 waitresses. I would come back to try other dishes.

Had Sunday Dinner here and came out happy. It was a Rainy day & I was craving a soup. I ordered a beer with a seafood soup with some white rice on the side & it was delishh..

Mango Juice no milk. A must taste.

I am going to say, never judge a restaurant by only one meal. I walked into this restaurant, it is a complete Ecuadorian Food Restaurant. It was full, I was able to find a small table empty. I order the #1 Cazuela de Mariscos soup and it was a delicious and an amazing eating experience. The soup is a bit thick not watery as most soups, the flavor and taste was more than what I was expecting, they put cilantro in it, and I am such a lover of cilantro. There was about 5 different types of fish is the soup, baby octopus, baby crap, shrimps, squids, and clams. Served with rice and some really good seasoned shredded red onions. The Mango juice tasted just like a real pure Mango. I have to say, if One comes to Brooklyn, the #1 is a must taste.

    a plate of food

I ordered a plate w/ grill steak, shrimp & sausage. I received it, the steak was a milanese piece that they put back in the grill, the sausage was a left over that clearly was fried plus lots of rice and no beans. Calling then up to ask was happened and the woman who pic up say, she just take orders, everything else is with kitchen guys.. Really??

I am commenting on the lunch special I ordered the roast chicken rice and bean+ soup lunch special takeaway. I don't speak spanish, so I had a big problem communicating with the staff. The service is much quicker than any other takeaway places, got my food in less than 3 minutes!! The roast chicken is very flavorful, and the soup is heavenly, I don't know the name of the potato and chicken soup, otherwise I would get it again on its own in the future.

    Delicious!

Love love love this place! Great food at a great price! The staff is always friendly even though there is somewhat of a language barrier but they haven't messed up my order yet. Free wifi. Everything is very fresh. The beans could be tastier. The restaurant is small but it's comfortable and clean although the bathroom could be cleaner. I'd recommend this place if you're in the mood for some good spanish food. Thumbs up.

    Yummy food and reasonable price!

Love the lemon chicken. Love the chicken fingers. Hardworking crew. The two chefs (one a owner) is a-ok in my book

There are not a lot of options in the area, so we decided to stop in and grab a drink. It's a tiny, blink and you miss it type of spot with a handful of tables and a small bar inside. We were greeted and offered to sit at the bar since we were just going to have drinks (we had just ate at another restaurant). The bartender was very friendly and conversational during our visit. At the recommendation of a local patron, we opted for the happy hour margaritas, tamarind and blackberry. They were both really refreshing, with the tamarind being a bit sweeter than the blackberry. The food smelled delicious, so it was kind of a bummer that we had already had dinner elsewhere. It's definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood and worth checking out.

We stopped by for a quick sit-down dinner on a Monday evening. While the space wasn't big or busy,…read moreservice was quick. We ordered the Roasted Half Chicken ($18.72) and Lomo Saltado ($31.20). The chicken was good and filling, though some of the white meat was a bit bland. When I added the hot sauces and paired it with the Mexican rice and beans, it was perfect though. I'm not usually a rice or beans person, but this combination made the meal better. The lomo saltado is a classic Peruvian dish with tender steak, onions, and tomatoes. Usually I see this dish paired with fries, but they opted for chunks of potato instead next to a bed of rice. Overall, it was a delicious meal that was satisfying and fulfilling. Note that they offer cash and card prices.
