The yuca itself tasted like frozen yuca. For main course, I ordered fish fillet and corvina, a traditional Peruvian fish that was also one of the more expensive menu items. The dish arrived cold, dry, and lacking freshness. The side of beans was dry and flavorless, and the sweet plantains were overly ripe and extremely greasy. I brought these concerns to the waiter's attention and showed him my plate, explaining that I did not want to eat the dish. I did not order a replacement because I was dissatisfied with the quality of the food. When the bill arrived, I was charged for the meal I did not eat, and a 20% gratuity had already been added. This was not clearly disclosed, and I only discovered it after questioning an additional charge on the bill.
