Picked up my take out order today, 4/25, Saturday, about 3ish. 3 ground beef soft tacos, gave him $20 bill. When got home realized he'd given me $2 and chsnge should have included $10 also. Too late to do anything just wanted to let you know. read more

One of the waiters stole my wallet and when I went back he tried to acted like he didn't know where it was but said he'll check the camera, came out not even enough time to probably check them and brought it back with all the cards missed placed. read more

Used this place to cater an event for one of my doctors offices. They did an amazing job! The food was wonderful and so was the service. This restaurant is recommended by the hotel across the road where I am staying...so why not give them a try. It is a real stormy night but they have quite a few patrons enjoying dinner tonight. Thats a good sign...!!! Seated promptly, ordered an ice tea to start as I reviewed the menu. Quite a few choices, but I settled on the chicken tortilla soup, and the cheese rellanos. Soup arrived first, hot & steamy...and with a side of avacado...excellent flavors. The rellanos were also good...arrived very hot...becareful, the melting cheese can scald the tastebuds instantly. Very tasty. This restaurant has the appearance to be family owned...give these guys a try. Excellent service, excellent food...and at a great price. I'll be back, maybe tomorrow night...see you here...!!! read more

Delicious. Affordable and huge portions. So glad Mi Cosina is in Centerville!! I've tried several things on the menu- including the shrimp salad, taco salad and fajitas. So far, Most entrees serve one to two people. Staff is friendly and responsive. Atmosphere is clean and nicely out together. read more

So where do I begin. We ate there, the food was great! No complains there. Our complain is that our waitress had the audacity, to ask us if we knew where she could score pills. Because we were knew to town, she said that normally new people have drugs on them and that she was paying $12 a pill for them. Then ever so proudly said, " I'm 2 years clean from meth! Thanks to saboxine. But I'm looking for pills." I come to eat at a restaurant. Not get asked if I had drugs or knew anyone who does. How do you randomly ask 2 strangers about this while they are on a date? Needless to say we will no longer be eating at a restaurant that has a drug addict working for them. Completely inappropriate of her to do talk about that with customers and loudly enough that the table next to us (which were teens) heard. This is my hometown Mexican restaurant. I can get burnt out very easily here. I will say that I love all of the people that work there. They are exceptional! However, I am a total foodie and I find their Mexican food kind of...mediocre. I will say that their Fajita taco salad is my favorite thing there and I would recommend it to someone trying the restaurant out. read more

We ate here a lot when we lived here and I believe I've had everything on the menu. Your meal starts with chips and salsa. I like the salsa but I like the guacamole more so I usually order that to go with the chips. The cheese dip is also good. My favorite entree is Pollo Poblano. The chicken is so tender and topped with strips of poblano pepper. On days that I wasn't feeling great I would get the tortilla soup. It was my make me feel better especially when I was sick meal. The food is delicious. I've never had a bad dish - some were too spicy for me- but never bad. They don't serve liquor by the drink here yet but the law just past so maybe in the future. They do offer a variety of beer including Corona. The service is always fantastic. These are the nicest people. My husband was a regular there for lunch. read more

We ate at this restaurant while visiting family. This was a great Mexican food. I got the queso to go with the chips which was like every other queso anywhere, so good! I also ate the fajitas which was tons of food and excellent. Here's my tips for fajitias- order them for one and ask for an extra veggie place and tortillas, still more than enough for two! read more

This last order of fajita (steak) was great! My husband and I split an order and of course picked it up and brought it home. A few months ago I ordered same and I received chicken not steak fajitas. I dont care for chicken fajitas but I ate what I could of it. Staff and service is great, clean restaurant and I would recommend this location. read more

Same old tex-mex attempt at authentic mexican food. Their salsa needs serious attention, staff is attentive and prices are bearable.

The usual Mexican fodder 10 basic Mexican recipes spun into 136 all including beans and rice. Stopped on a road trip, glad I don't live in Centerville. Very nice people but methinks they need to try harder and come up with a couple of surprises. The place was packed so who am I to complain. read more

I had very low expectations for this place, given the surroundings of the town, but I am not lying when I say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever had. I wish I could remember the name of what I ordered but it was chicken, bell pepper, ranchero sauce, pineapple, onion, and a few more veggies. First of all, it was HUGE. I literally laughed when she sat it in front of me. On top of that, it was good, authentic Mexican. We're big fans of Mi Cocina because we've never had a bad meal here. It's a family owned business and the service and the food is always great and prepared on the spot. In other words, they don't reheat in a microwave. The place always looks clean and the prices are reasonable. The food is usually good from here but tonight whenever I got home and opened my tacos it looked like and HUGE pile of mess all of the shells were stuck together. I still was gonna try and eat them but when I opened the sour cream I had got to put on them there was a HUGE black spot in it I couldn't take a chance on it so I had to throw it all away so I got some cheese dip when I opened it it was cold cold cold and so thick you couldn't even dip a chip in it because they would break!!! So this has happened the last two times I've been there won't be a third time!!!
