One of my friends recommended me to go to Mi Dental, and I am glad he recommended me. I struggled looking for the right dental office that accepts Medi-Cal and am so glad for this practice! Many Medi-Cal offices I've been to were old, outdated, long waiting hours and unorganized, so hard to communicate with the office. I didn't have expectations. But Mi Dental is exceptional. The office is busy, but very clean; staff very kind, organized, and doctors are very attentive and professional. I am nobody to judge their professionalism but I trust their work and judgement. My first time at this office, and it did not at all disappoint. The entire staff is caring, patient, and overall amazing. Dr. Lee was very detailed and sweet. She did my filling and did an amazing job. I usually am terrified of needles but I did not even feel it. I got my cleaning with Amelia and she is also very sweet. I keep myself busy and I could be a hard worker but one thing I couldn't keep up was my dental appointments - Tbh it can be a pain. But I got to know Mi Dental through my co-worker and I felt at ease from the beginning. Front staff kept me informed and tries to accommodate my needs. Doctors are very honest and straight up, don't try to upsell services, force or scare you just because. Mi Dental discriminates based on what insurance you have. They also have a RUDE receptionist, the girl on the phone with me was Jennifer. I told them initially that I have HMO insurance since I wasnt so sure. But, I told them specifically after speaking to my insurance 3x and was confirmed that Mi Dental is in-network & SHOULD accept my insurance. I told this to Jennifer and she doesnt believe me. I told her to call my insurance to check with them herself on Wednesday And she promised to call me back on Friday later BUT DID NOT. Too bad, I was very keen coming to Mi Dental for my routine dental cleaning/check-up since I live in the apartment above here. But knowing that Mi Dental has an unrealiable staff & discriminate towards patients based on the insurance type- I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. Ahh also, turns out I have a PPO insurance (which they accepts & welcome widely!) lol. But no, I'm not giving Mi Dental my business.. too bad. I couldve been a loyal & frequent patient here but I better be somewhere else. And, even if I have HMO & they dont accept my insurance - I'm not a low baller & willing to pay the out-of-pocket cost of $150 for first visit/xray/consultation. I've been going to Dr. Lee for over a year now and have been really satisfied until now. Went in for my cleaning last month, it felt rushed and I felt like she wasn't listening to what I was telling her about my tooth pain. She finished and said I had a cavity on the left and a filling that needed to be replaced on the right. Scheduled an appt for the following week. THE DAY OF THE APPT the office calls and says Denti-Cal will not pay for the services I would have to pay out of pocket bec it's been less than a year one of the tooth. Didn't sound right to me but I canceled the appt bec I didn't have the extra money that day. Called last week to find out how much it would be and to ask for a another referral(the ortho they gave me never answers the phone and don't return calls).. the woman who answered said she would have to talk to Dr. Lee about both and let me know. She emailed me the next day with a new referral but no info on my cost. Again said she had to talk with the dentist. A few days go by I email her back to let her know noone called me. She emails back and says there is no charge. The services will be covered by Denti-Cal. I informed her that's not what I was told. She apologizes and says she confirmed with Dr. LEE there would be no charge. Asked if I wanted an appt. I say yes she says March 10th is available. So I've been walking around in PAIN and not really able to eat and I could have had this taken care of weeks ago. Noone called or email me to tell me the service would be covered. And now I'm suppose to wait another month for an appt. RIDICULOUS! read more

Mi Dental is great! I was looking for a new dentist after moving to DTLA and I decided to try Mi Dental since it is so close to where I live. Everything from scheduling an appointment to going in and getting my teeth cleaned was pleasant and easy. The receptionist was very friendly over the phone and made sure to check that my insurance would be accepted prior to me coming in. She also called me and confirmed my appointment a few days prior to. When I went in for my appointment, everyone was super friendly! Rosio at the front desk greeted me and helped me fill out my paperwork. Karla was a pleasure to chat with and did a great job polishing my teeth. Kenia was super helpful throughout the cleaning and procedure, and Dr. Natalia did a wonderful job of making sure that everything was in good shape. She also answered all of my questions and gave me some tips to maintain my dental hygiene after leaving the office. In addition to the great staff, the establishment itself is awesome! It's super hygienic and high-tech looking. The x-ray machine is the most advanced I've seen and some of the cleaning tools were also new to me and very effective. My email sent to Mi Dental Company. ( LEE, MIN H DS ) Good Afternoon, This is Kevin Erondu. I have an appointment at 12pm Tuesday that I would like to cancel. My experience has not been the best with this company. I was prescribed meds Friday that I could not get because of the following reasons. 1. There was no date on the prescription. 2. There was no amount written that should be given to me. & 3. The prescription was made out by a company called " FUN DENTAL 4 KIDS " located in Bell Ca and not " MI DENTAL " The location I was present. Not only did I not receive the medication I needed because of the pain I was in But today Walgreens called the number on the paper to verify that " FUN DENTAL 4 KIDS " did issue this prescription. Of course they spoke to everyone there in which all agreed that the slip I gave them was a fake. So thanks to you, I almost got arrested today. The police and Walgreens tried numerous times calling your office at 4:35pm that was suppose to be closed at 5pm and could not get a hold of anybody. Paying you got me nothing. I did not get the medication I needed and 2 hours of being questioned by law enforcement on the account of Your mistake. You will be hearing from my attorney. read more

If you're afraid of the dentist go to Dr. Lee. She does a wonderful job - very quick, painless and honestly caring with the whole process. I normally do not like going to the dentist but this was probably one of my first time actually enjoying it. I had deep cleaning, a few fillings, crown replaced and unfortunately a root canal (mainly due to extreme sensitivity after the initial crown was replaced). My holy grail dentist! I love everything about this place. Staff members are very friendly, kind, courteous and attentive all the time. Dr Natalia, of course, is such a great professional. I've been to many dentists before and I felt some of their services were kinda rough and wild, but Dr Natalia's dental service is so gentle, nice, delicate and professional at the same time. That makes me feel so comfortable on every visit. I will keep going to this place and would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. P.S. FANTASTIC! Starting with Alma, who is soooo sweet and caring, together with the great care of Dr. Lee... nice soft touch--which was really appreciated! I went for a check-up after years of not going to the dentist. Yes, I know, years. Nothing hurt, but with the X-rays, I was shown all the cavities I had. I was able to get half done the same day. I went the following week for the rest. Both times, the ladies in the front were great. Everyone is so friendly, and they call to confirm your appointments. The only thing I could think of is you're not seen at your appointment time. The wait is not too crazy, and once you're in, you're getting x-rays or something done while you wait for the doctor to finish up another patient. At least you're not sitting there like "ahh" for a long time, haha. Just something to have in mind if, like me, your husband is watching the baby . Of course, you may have a tech who's possibly new or nervous; be nice, you guys, we've all been there. The doctor is just as friendly and nice. He explained everything and is also quick. I made an appointment for 2. I was told to wait in the waiting room and then they brought me into the room around 2:30 the lady began to set up and then she just walked out. I waited and later saw her in another patients room. What was the point of bringing me into the room if I was going to continue waiting. Might as well have left me in the waiting room. The lady couldn't even have the decency to say that she's be right back. I'm a college student with a tight schedule I specifically asked when I made the appointment if it would take long. They said it shouldn't be longer than an hour and never mentioned that that included an hour of waiting as well. I understand that they are busy but if they are understaffed why do they continue to take so many appointments. Make it make sense super unprofessional! read more

I love Mi Dental! Dr. Natalia Lee and her staff always took great, professional care of me when I needed a teeth cleaning after not getting one for a while. Dr. Lee was able to squeeze me in despite her busy schedule yet I never felt rushed. This office has a super modern x-ray machine and with it, Dr. Lee was able to let me know of my problem areas and advised me to keep an eye out for a certain tooth. From past experiences, other dental office staff have pressured me to get this and that, but I did not feel like this at all here. I believe they accept most insurance, but give them a call if you're not sure. I started coming here during COVID. The staff and doctor have been professional and respectful throughout this period. I've never felt skeptical about their cleanliness or how they followed COVID rules. My doctor, Dr. Lee, is very sweet and attentive. She has also answered all my questions about my post-pregnancy care. Now, I've been doing my routine teeth cleaning with them and they've been so accommodating. The last one I got was this past Friday. I come here during my lunch break, so basically they're working through regular lunch hours in order to serve their patients. That's a plus for me because I don't have a lot of time after work or weekends, now with 2 kids. Im there in and out and they call me the previous week to confirm the apt. So they save you that spot for you and there's no double booking where I have to sit and wait for them to be done with another person. Also, they've billed my insurance directly and I didn't have to get in the middle at all. I would def recommend this dentist. read more
