They work well with most insurance policies and will let you know if there are any issues or concerns with that (so no worries of miscommunication in the future). They also let you know of any costs and procedures that need to be done before they get anything started. I really liked my experience here except the end part. I came on a Saturday and the receptionist was very nice. I was called within 10 mins of my appointment. Then, Hilda took my X-rays. She was gentle with my teeth and approachable with questions. The doctor came to check each tooth and dictated a description to her. They brought me to another room for cleaning/scaling, fillings, and polishing. The doctor was very gentle, swift, and thorough. I barely felt the shot. Another assistant helping him made it uncomfortable. She kept suctioning the sides of my mouth so that it would pull and would leave the suction in awkward or uncomfortable positions that I was afraid I would get a blister inside my lip. I kept adjusting my teeth so it would move. After everything, the polishing was a mess. It was so rough and I felt like she didn't know what she was doing. Literally felt like it was all over the place. She got it on her hands and unconsciously smeared it all over my mouth. She let the polish come off the head a few times and left it in my mouth for like 2 mins before I told her. I felt more pain during the polishing than the treatment. I wanted to stop her a few times, but didn't thinking it would end soon. Also it took a lot longer than previous dentists I've been to. I did not enjoy that experience at all and will ask to have someone else in the future. Thankfully, when I asked the receptionist about that person, she told me she was a temp. Hopefully, I will not have to deal with her again. Other than that, everyone else was great! read more

I do not recommend. I'm really concerned as to how I started coming to the dentist and my teeth seem to be getting worse every day.. this was my first time back to the dentist in a few years. But im actually having more issues going to the dentist than when I wasn't going. I requested for my treatment plan weeks ago, I got the run around about it. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone I was out of town. I was told they couldn't email them, even though at one point I was told they could. I asked if they could be mailed and was told that they would have to call me back. I never got the call. It's been a few weeks and I'm finally back in town.. I went to the office on Friday after being out of town for a few weeks, I requested for a crown when I made the appointment because I literally just had an X-ray before I left out of town. And I'm in need of the crown. Not a root canal. I get to my appointment and I'm pretty much being rushed, can't get any help. And obviously left without a crown. I was advised to do my best not to chew on that side. Really!! I feel like ever since I requested for a GOLD crown the office has been weird. They literally started bringing up how they didn't charge me the right amount for the fillings I had gotten previously. I asked them do I owe any money?! They say no. They were just making me aware.. When I ask for them to provide me with the numbers in writing for my treatment for the next things I needed. They gave me the run around.. This last time I didn't even get a confirmation call for my appointment, I had to call them. It's pretty evident I'm not welcomed here and that's fine. I'm a paying customer that is looking for quality care and I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Small. Dirty. And completely unimpressive. I'd zero-star it if I could. Went in for some work last September because I suspected I had few cavities. I was right. The dentist drilled into a molar while the assistant-slash-receptionist stood by to watch. My hands were gripping the arms of the chair and the dentist thought it was funny! I felt like he was a Mad Scientist and I was a bunny. When I checked the work, the dentist'd drilled a new shape in my molar -- it was now pointy - and barely covered it with the filling material; it didn't even fill the void removed by the drill. Dissatisfied and frankly scared, I tried another dentist the next week, and found out the X-ray at the Impressive missed a HUGE hole in one tooth. I mean...really? Needless to say, I transfered dentists. But not soon enough. Because the work they did on that *one molar 4 months ago now aches like the dickens and is keeping me up at night. Which is a good time to write a review of the worst dental office I've ever been to. Sigh. Shoulda known, right? Any place that has to tell you how great it is probably isn't. read more

I was at first very impressed with my experience at this dental office. I spent about 1500 dollars on a variety of services which included a no-charge first exam which was covered by the insurance. I commented to his assistant that I felt so well cared for there, good service as well as a compassionate attitude. However, about ten months after these visits I returned for another exam because I was about to leave California and then the country for an extended period of time. I was met by a man that I was hard pressed to believe could be the same the doctor. It was a case of Jekyll and Hyde. He seemed to resent my returning for another exam, and was quite rude and rough; attempting to convince me that my teeth were now somehow a complete mess loaded with decay. He had become a stereotypical greedy doctor focused only on money. As a result of this experience I will never return to this man, whom I had plan to keep as my dentist for years to come, spending thousands. We went there to use our HMO dental plan! Eeh! To extract the tooth, almost free but to get a root canal pay $$$ amount! And All **ALL** Dentists thrive by creating fear factor, if you dont do it today, it might be late. It could get worse... blah blah blah!! To me they said I had pinkish gums had to see periodontist, would send a referrel. Never got one.. The estimated cost was in $$$ range!! Guess what! We researched online, got a water jet to rid ourselves of any plaque problem! In less than $50, I could get rid of tooth problem. Dentists!! Had to reschedule my appointment 3 times last minute over the past month because front desk procrastinates and called my insurance to get my information last minute, and the whole staff decided to get their covid vaccination the same day. The front desk people had all week to get my insurance information faxed to them before my appointment today, but told me they waited to try and do it yesterday,, didnt receive it in time, and waited to tell me this AFTER I CAME TO THE OFFICE AND HAD A CONSULTATION!! Why did I come all the way there? So unprofessional, and disorganized! Do not come here if you want efficiency and professionalism, especially handling insurance and taking new patients. I have never had this experience with any dental office before, so I'm sure it's possible to prevent issues like this, by doing your job and not waiting last minute for everything. Don't come here. Nothing about my experience with them was easy, convenient, or pleasurable. And when I wanted to go to a different dentist and requested my X-rays, they made it difficult by insisting that I come in to sign paperwork. When I did, I waited for an hour to sign said "paperwork". They could not locate my file nor the paperwork so they said I needed to sign an informal agreement giving them my permission to send my x-rays. They didn't even end up giving me an informal agreement to sign. Just took my ID and my email address, saying that their policy is to send within 24 hours. THEN they ended up saying it was a $30 fee to send my X-rays. And then they said they would send it to me by 12pm, and now it is 1pm and I still have not received them. I don't know any other office that does not have an option to send X-rays remotely, charges anyone to send them, or is this unprofessional. I could not believe it. The few times I've come in or been in contact with them at all were just super taxing and not helpful. I would not recommend getting dental care from them at all. I personally believe they are dishonest and are taking advantage of this lower income community. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. read more

I really gave this place a shot. I came for 1.5 years and a total of 5 times hoping it would be better each time. After this experience, I changed from hmo dental to ppo. Wait time: each time, I had to wait over an hour. Appointment at 3pm. Seen at 415pm. Appointment at 4pm. Seen at 6pm. Explanation: someone had an emergency. Ok I get it. Next day. Appointment 3pm seen at 430. Appointment at 4pm. Seen at 530. It doesn't matter if you call in to make sure there won't be a wait. They assure you each time that you will be seen right away. #gullible. The doctor is accommodating and seems knowledgeable. He was nice and seemed to explain the details well. I had 2 fillings done with no issues. No beef in this category. No basic teeth cleaning. If you come here, they will offer you "deep cleaning", guaranteed to set you back 250. If you don't get it, they don't offer you the "basic" cleaning included in the hmo unless you ask multiple times. They then proceed to tell you that the cleaning doesn't actually clean and then put you at the back of the line or reschedule you for another day. When you come back for the next appointment, they remind you that the cleaning does not actually do any cleaning. read more

First time visiting a dentist in over 6 years. As a 28 year old, I was pretty apprehensive seeing a dentist after such a long time. Checked with multiple dental offices impressive dental was the only one with same week appointment available. Decided to make a visit with Dr Karla. First off, the front desk personnel are extremely polite, professional, easy to engage in conversation, and welcome you with a smile. I believe her name was Andrea. Technician who helped me with X-rays was also nothing but courteous and reviewed with me a preliminary X-ray read. Out of the few dentists I have seen in my life I can honestly place Dr Karla in my top 3. He educated me throughly about what was seen in the X-rays and presented me options. Never did I feel pressured to getting work done. Spent an hour with a clean and some medication application and before I knew it was done. Through out process he guided me what to expect and how to communicate if pain was becoming intolerable. Would definitely recommend. Thanks! read more

Worst place ever! Had an appointment to get my 4 wisdom teeth extracted by an "oral surgeon" but once I was in the chair with local anesthesia and the "surgeon" had made the incision he told me he couldn't perform the surgery because he did not have the tools! I was sent home with no antibiotics or pain medication. Impressive dental did not go over the risks of the wisdom teeth removal either and neither did their "surgeon". I rushed to real oral surgeon's office (Dr.Cedeño at Los Angeles Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center) he was able to give me antibiotics and pain medication and a week later performed my teeth extractions with no complications nor excuses! Please avoid this place! It maybe inexpensive but is it really worth the risk? read more

I really recommend this office it is a very enjoyable experience my mother started here first. She is 90 years old happy got new dentures and it's like you took 20 years off her age .
