I don't know, but they didn't have the best first impression. But as time when by, things started improving. The cashiers were friendly. The workers were helpful. It became my go-to supermarket. What do I like about it? - Lobster rolls, sushi, hot pot kits! - Kimbap, banchan, fried rice, and sweets, - L'Ami Bakery selection, - Hot food selection: musubi, rice bowls, onigiris, skewers! - Italian bread/baguettes are finally in stock! - Jasmine rice is available, - A good amount of Chinese groceries are available, - Lotsa of Ritter Sport Chocolate. What would make it better? - Better tea selection? - Inarizushi? - Hal's Kettle Cooked Chips. Why is there's no Hal's? I'll settle for Hals, Deep River, or Kettle brand. Not Lays.

Always clean, bright, with happy people. It has all the things I love in one place. Tropical fruits, all the veggies, a ton of mushrooms, fresh meats and seafood, and all the Asian snacks you can think of. And the staff is always so nice. A great mix of American and Asian things. There's also an awesome food court where you can grab yummy food to go eat there. It's a great restaurant. But wait... I'm not done. As if ALL these wonderful things weren't enough. They added a Paris Baguette in there? Come on now! That's just not fair... just take all my money right now! Paris Baguette has MY FAVORITE cakes. The Fluffy, light cakes wrapped in what I can only describe as clouds of whipped cream. The strawberry cake is a heavenly delight. All their cakes, confections, and breads are amazing. I have zero qualms! Keep up the good work

When I got fully fall on the floor I felt my head dizzy and pain on the bodies ! The security guard whose name is Willa came to help and brought me up and took a stone to let me have a break, he is American, very nice guy! Asked what I need and how was feeling after the incident, meanwhile he called the manager! When the manager came to ask if I need ambulance to the hospital, I refused and talked him about what happened, he didn't say anything about my health situation after the incident, said I was very careless about the steps and the walking issues, nothing about comfort words, that is the manager, a Chinese manager, too bad service and too bad environment with terrible customer service! American people understand how to help me out Chinese manager came to complain about why carelessness! If you met the incident like this what would you feel? We won't come to this store again!

There's no shortage of Asian supermarkets in NYC, especially in Flushing. Customers seeking Chinese…read moregroceries are luckily spoilt for choice compared to most of the country. DC Market (德昌DeChang in Chinese) is one of many places to shop, and they specialize in meat and takeout meals. This location is similar in size to their Chinatown location, though Flushing has more of a rectangular layout in contrast to the long narrow layout in Ctown. Their butcher counter is pretty much unparalleled compared to other Asian supermarkets with the exception of maybe large format Hmarts. DC carries a wide breadth of edible animal products both au naturel and marinated, including more familiar meats such as pork chops, short rib, flank steak, sea bass, running the gamut to less commonly appreciated though edible parts like frog legs, pork lung and hocks, beef tongue, whelk. Marinated specialties like tangerine peel minced beef and pork ribs in pickled plum sauce caught my attention, among many others. The second largest section is the ready-to-eat food section, with items pre-portioned in takeout containers, priced by the container. This area is composed of several counters with a wide selection of steamed, deep-fried, baked, sautéed and stewed dishes, all categories covered--vegetables, meats, carbs, savory and sweet--food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall food quality is not quite on par with good restaurants as some other reviews mention, though not too bad if you're looking for a quick simple meal. Aside from aforementioned meat, some seafood, and takeout, they have a suitable breadth of fresh produce, refrigerated/chilled, dried and frozen foods. What you don't find too much here are packaged snacks and processed foods, which I suppose is a good thing.
