We came in from Montana and we were on the west side of town so we just searched for restaurants near us and this was the closest and it had good reviews so we tried it. We were very happy we did. I had the super fajita and it was fabulous tons of food,(1 plate with rice and beans and another whole plate with meat and veggies. There was so much meat in this dish. It was great. The flavor was perfect. I ordered a side of guacamole and seriously I get guac everywhere I go and it is some of the best I've ever had was really fresh and smooth. My husband had the enchiladas they had a ton of meat in them and the sauce was awesome. Very very good as well. After we got our meals, we decided that the super fajita was so much food that we could've actually split it and it would've been very full. The prices were very, very fair and the young lady that helped us was very kind and courteous would definitely go here again. It's the kind of local spot that feels just right - always clean, the vibe is welcoming, and the service is quick. The Mex fare in Cd'A is as you'd expect. It's not bad, but it's certainly not memorable. Enter...Mi Jalisco. This family is not afraid to use spices. Nothing glaringly overpowering, but way above what we've grown to expect in this town. Seems to be Mom and Dad on the plancha, and a son on the cash register. It's not a big place, tucked in a strip business area off of Gov Way, but it is pretty popular judging by the folks coming in/out for to-go dinners. One thing of note is they close at 6PM on days they're open, and that can make it tricky for dinner diners. I don't think they'd turn anyone away at 5:50PM, but I for one would never feel comfortable rollin' in right before they close. That is their business model, and it's cool with me. Absolutely blown away by mi Jalisco. Been here 4 years and haven't tried it till today. The man and woman were super friendly, prob some of nicest staff I've met at any restaurant in the inland north west. I went with a carne asada burrito and taco de tripas, asked for it extra crispy. Spot on with flavor, with the right amount of blend of rice, beans, meat, onion, and cilantro. I went with their spiciest salsa cause every place around doesn't have anything that kicks and this one had a bite! Overall, this is prob the closest you'll get if you're looking for traditional Mexican street food, not the typical Mexican food your Californians around here think is Mexican food like el torito. Today my wife and I went here for lunch. I ordered the Chile Relleno and she the Chicken Fajitas. The chips and salsa are "wow". Mmmmmm!!! My Chile Relleno was absolutely magnificent. The beans were stunningly excellent, especially with their fresh homemade salsa mixed in. The crown jewel of the day was my wife's Chicken Fajitas. On a 1-100 scale they were a full 100! The portion sizes were generous yet the prices surprisingly fair. Of all the delightful things we experienced this afternoon, the friendliness of the staff and even our fellow diners was a good substitution for dessert. I rarely post a review in the negative but this was perhaps the worst meal in my 12 years in the area. I hope it was due to a new cook or some other rational reason. I don't even know where to begin with what was wrong with our six meals - honestly, there was nothing that was worth eating. I will definitely not return. I know Mexican food and this does not even come close to what I usually have. Rice was dry. Beans likely came straight out of a can. Beef was dry and unappetizing. Lettuce in taco salad was sparse and not crisp. We had tacos, burritos, taco salad and sadly, I cannot recommend any of them. read more

Best Mexican food I've ever had!!! So incredibly authentic. Friendly workers were able to substitute potatoes instead of meat in the super nachos. I've never had nachos before where I needed to take leftovers. These nachos were two full meals! There was so much on them I needed to ask for extra chips. I've gone to so many Mexican restaurants where I got nachos and there was barely anything on them. This restaurant is incredible! If you are considering it, definitely eat here. So far, the best Mexican food that I found in the CDA area. It's difficult to find authentic Mexican outside of California (and obviously Mexico), so I was surprised to find this place. Friendly management/owners, as close to authentic as I have found in the area and the pricing is good. Tasty tacos de lengua, chorizo, asada, etc. Their tortas are good. Beans and rice are good as well. Actual Mexican drinks, Jarritos, horchata and Mexican Coke, I can't recall if they had agua de jamaica though. This place should have a lot more reviews. It's located in a little hole-in-the-wall area, but that's where the best/authentic Mexican food usually always is. Stay away from the fusion tourist Chipotle garbage. Go out of your way a bit and have a taste of authenticity. Definitely recommend. read more

Simply delicious! Our large family of 7 ate here and had an array of menu items such as tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas and more. Every sauce was fresh and tasty, the various meats had no gristle or fatty pieces, the portions were great, and even the children enjoyed it all.
