    Beautiful Back Patio
    Urban Diner D.

We haven't been to our old favorite restaurant in approx 2 years (wrote a lovely review) ...boy what a change and here's our assessment: We entered straight to back patio for our second visit here in 3 days with our golden retriever. Brandon (long ponytail boy) approached us approx 7 min later with a rather gruff and loud dissertation about how we need to enter through the front door. We would have followed that directive had we known or seen a sign. Certainly he could have come closer to our table and spoke quietly so other guests did not hear. We were very upset. Then Gina came to take our order and i mentioned how rude Brandon was. I explained i owned my own business and if i ever treated a paying customer this rudely i would lose that customer in a moment. After we ordered Cole came out to deliver our food.. He was polite, calm, attentive and everything we remembered about with our former experience 2 or so years ago. To our surprise, Brandon delivered our bill and sealed the rudeness with shouting at us telling us 'never to come back again' in front of new guests! Sarah, whom i believe is the owner also has a second more popular restaurant has obviously worked hard and consciously to put together memorable experiences with not only the menu but with customer service as well. i am surprised Brandon feels he has the liberty to undermine all Sarah has worked for... I have no doubt Brandon has done this before.. Particularly since he demonstrated zero regard for us or your customers.. it's time to make some changes?

This is THE breakfast spot! It's got great food at a reasonable price. But the customer service had me before we even got in the door. We were walking up the handicap ramp with my stroller and a waitress opened the front door and said, "Let me open the side door for you so you don't have to deal with the steps inside and go straight into a booth!" Wow!!! So awesome! We ordered the Snow Crab Benedict and Fish and Chips (we would've ordered meats, but it's lent, so we're happy they have lent friendly options for you fellow Catholics out there). Everything was delicious. It was so cute to see fries and fruits as an option on the kids' menu...that's literally all my son would eat...they get it!! When we completed our meal, we took our kids over to Stoddard Park which is literally a few steps away! It has a playground and the first wheelchair swing I've seen...EVER!

    Awesome bus boy!

Long wait for food (nearly 30min) server wasn't attentive. (Had to get my own water refill) my Benedict came cold but was cooked perfect. Fish & chips were delish! Beautiful restaurant (patio closed early so had to eat in a ice cold dining area) All staff was super friendly except for our server.

Update: I went to a European restaurant in post falls ordered an Omolette and they know how to cook Hash Browns not Black and dark Brown. I guess they take pride in their meals. Ordered the Denver omelette with hash browns and Coffee. My ordered the chicken fried steak and Hash Browns. Both orders of hash Browns were overcooked to mostly Black and extra Crispy. I guess it was a cook in training. Definitely management needs to pay more attention to the quality of good that is being sent out to the customers. Will I RETURN Probably NOT. If you cannot trust a cook to out out a quality meal then Beware. My wife had to remind them about my coffee. I do not blame the server but management has a problem but will they do anything about the cook. The server did take some off the bill. But the manager(s) need to ensure quality in every meal.

I honestly don't know where to start.....great food, great staff, easy parking and great music. Outdoor patio.....small counter to sit at but good. Every month there are food specials which are appropriate for the holiday, summer or time of year...go to their Facebook page to see the specials. Everything is very good on the menu. 5 PLUS stars.

The BEST! We rode our bikes here the other day and then greeted by a very pleasant staff! The food was delicious and the ambiance was cozy and perfect. This is now our new favorite little spot :) Can't beat the value!!

I could not eat my omelet. It was cooked with rancid grease. Two ladies had four small screaming children. I mean screaming.

It feels like you somehow wandered into a slightly spooky Disney bayou attraction that also happens to serve brunch. Decorated to the nines and immersive, it is both a meal and an experience. We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

Twice we have been on account I'm a local private Executive chef so my schedule is all over the map, so I took a shot getting a reso and yessaaahh we got one ( highly recommend ) you are greeted w a bubbly smiley faced owner who is so kind and will give to a brief over view of what's to be expected. Then you are aproached by one amazing server CJ who will guide you on the dining experience we chose everything suggested and it was so spot on in every facit . CJ handles her guests w such professionalism but very funny. The vibe is super chill something cda has needed for a long time . We chose to come back this holiday season to not only have the amazing fresh sheet beignets OMG we ordered two diffrent ones to hopefully take home some ! That didn't happen hahah . Support the shit out of this place and the amazing owner and staff they crush it every time. We have found our best brunch spot to start our amazing day off Executive Chef Terry Alexander

Not only is Izzy's a gluten free cafe, the food is next level. Inventive, fresh, flavorful and a blend of traditional favorites with modern twists. I was torn between the shrimp and grits and the Virginia Benedict. The fried Green tomatoes instead of a traditional English muffin sounded too delicious to pass up. It was perfectly portioned, seasoned and balanced. Beautifully poached egg topped with micro greens and tangy pickled white onions nestled between delicious fried Green tomatoes and blackened shrimp. Creamy, velvety hollendaise brought everything together. My partner had a delicious omelet with Idaho potatoes Oh, lavender mimosas with edible flowers were a nice touch too. Only 44 seats including a small counter, so reservations are recommend. But there is great shopping in the area if you have a wait like we did. This is a must try whether you're gluten free or not. I'll be back for those grits!
