I love a mom and pop shop, we ordered quesabirria tacos, 3 (asada & lengua) tacos, fish ceviche, and some chips & guac. It was all so delicious, the only item I thought that gave me a weird aftertaste was the fish ceviche. I'd probably go for the shrimp version next time! Came for Taco Tuesday, but ended up ordering carne asada burritos because we were so hungry. Was greeted by staff immediately upon entering and they were friendly. Food came out very quickly. I was starving when I came in so at the time I thought the burrito I got was so good. But on a regular day with a regular appetite, I most likely would've considered the food to be kinda run of the mill. I don't have anything bad to say because it was filling and tasted fresh, but I'm not raving either. Also my bestie and I wanted to order horchata but they didn't have any today. :-( It seems like maybe the agua fresca flavor(s) are different every day...? There was tamarind, but we didn't feel like having that one. It would've been nice if we could have gotten horchata with our meal, I feel like most places always have it! Overall it was an okay experience. I prefer the nearby Taqueria Extra because they give complimentary chips, have a salsa bar, and I find the burritos there to be a little more flavorful. A lot of the reviews mentioned the food being pricey but I disagree, the menu is comparable to other taquerias in the area. Portions are large so I think it's fair. Indoor seating is minimal so you may wanna plan around that if you're coming with a large group. We had wanted to try this place for awhile and when we finally did, it was a bit of a let down. The prices seemed high for what you got. I don't remember if the chips and salsa were extra or not. The quesabirria was greasy and the dipping sauce wasn't very flavorful. The other tacos were just okay. The small parking lot gets crowded as well as the little dining area. We were lucky that someone was leaving when we arrived so we were able to snatch a table. All of the tables are outside with plastic wrapped around for some protection from the road close by and wind. The tables and chairs are outdoor furniture which is fine but they are all really dirty and close together. The area where we ordered was also very dirty. We hired Mi Lindo Sinaloa to cater my son's first birthday party, and they were incredible! The food was authentic, fresh, and very budget-friendly. We had more than enough food for 150 guests and they couldn't stop raving about how good the food was - they even had to take some to-go! My son's birthday party was at a park and it was nice not having to worry about setting up food. Jose is so wonderful to work with--he was incredibly welcoming and added some special touches to the menu that we didn't even expect. It felt like having a family friend help us celebrate. I can only comment on the flauta plate bc that's what I ordered. I came here mainly because I wanted to try their Birria (available Fri-Sun) but I ended up also trying their carne asada taco, papa loca w/ beef, and horchata. The birria was pretty good! There is some nice seating outside with tables that can fit maybe 20-30 people, and maybe 4 seats inside. Parking lot is very small, and would default to street parking after. Fattier meat. -Carne Asada: beef. not as fatty as cabeza, more lean. still good though - Al pastor: surprisingly not my fav, usually i LOVE al pastor but not sure if it was a bit more dry than usual.
