I came here after work today to pick-up some pastries for the weekend. I've been to their other location in Cheverly several times, and I've always been overly-satisfied with all of their baked goods. In addition, their prices are the lowest that I have seen anywhere in this area. I usually get conchas, which originated in Mexico, and they have always been a favorite of mine ever since I was a kid visiting Mexico. The person behind the counter who helped me was cordial, and I've always had positive vibes from this place. Neither of these locations offers any seating, which is what you would find at a cafe, but the quality of their baked goods is on point! I will continue to buy delicious treats from here every time that I am in the area. read more

I live around the corner from this store, and I'm getting disgusted at the treatment of non-Spanish fluent speakers. I speak some, and hear their remarks all the time, but the pricing is never consistent and they frequently try to get one over on non-fluent speakers. They honestly have a lot of excess everyday and I frequently see (and inadvertently purchase) stale items, so you'd think they'd want to gain more customers to alleviate these problems. I'll shop elsewhere if my business isn't welcomed, even if it's convenient. read more

I, a black non Spanish speaking woman, made an order over the phone yesterday for a singular cupcake with white frosting on top and a pink filling. They ask if I wanted to pickup same day or the following day (today). I respond saying I'd like to do same day. They say they can't do same day which is odd they even offered same day if it couldn't be done. I respond saying the time id come the following day. I come into this small, hot, and cramped space and mention my pickup. The lady was extremely rude to me and shoo'd me over to another woman who would go retrieve it. The cupcake had pink frosting in which I responded saying that's not what I ordered. She goes back to the back for two seconds and says this is my order. I respond telling her that this is not what I ordered and repeated what I requested and she argued with me saying this was my order. I double down and say "this is not what I wanted" and she giggles, turns around to the back, giggling and speaking in Spanish in which I just left. Terrible customer service. Would NEVER go there again. I'd give no stars if it were possible. read more

The pros- the prices are very reasonable, the store is clean and the staff are friendly, polite and helfpul The cons- the pastries are very bready and heavy. We got 3 types -a guava empanada, a pineapple filled pastry, and something looked like a pig in a blanket/sausage roll. They tasted fresh but they were just very stodgy. I think it's a matter of personal preference - I prefer flaky pastry, but for those who prefer more filling types this is definitely your place. read more

This is my favorite panaderia (Bakery). The Milhojas are the best. I go there to load up every couple of weeks because they are not close to home. If I can't find something I go to the other location on East-West Hwy 1.5 miles away. read more

I've lived only a few minutes from this bakery all my life yet never stepped foot in the place till last week! My boyfriend and I figured we'd grab a quick treat before heading out so we stopped here. It's a small bakery, but had plenty of baked goods like breads, pastries, and cakes. I picked what looked like a bite sized baked pie crust with cream filling and colored sprinkles, and my boyfriend chose a yellow cake with yellow colored filling. My treat tasted good, not too sweet! And the crust was perfect. My boyfriend liked his treat as well. All in all, it seems like a pretty nice bakery. The prices are very fair, so I'll stop by again whenever I want a treat and try something new next time. read more

This place is the bane of my existence. Do you know how well I've been doing losing weight? I've lost a ton of weight before moving within a half mile of these place and now this bakery with its exceptional cakes and breads is just sitting there mocking me. I went there for my wifes birthday and got her cake and it was ridiculously delicious and inexpensive and the lady was extremely nice despite the fact that I don't speak spanish and she didn't speak much english. I've since gone here several times and you can't find nicer people. The baked goods are ridiculously good. This place should be ashamed of the torment it puts me through. read more
