There's a handful of tables when you walk in, more seating then you'd probably think for a bakery of this size. The walls are lined with refrigerators and pastry cases. Some of the selection is self-service and then some sit in glass boxes that are more attuned to Jewelry cases. I went up to the front and saw a number of hand scrawled signed taped on the front refrigerators. The prices are insanely low. Tamales for $1.50 a piece are definitely worth your attention. The chicken sandwich that I tried for $3.00 was oddly out of this world. When it was set down on the table in front of me... I was like... "OK... this looks pretty basic." But then I tried it... and I was like... what the HELLO has been done to this chicken. As I commented to a friend: " I have no idea what they did to that chicken, but I'm pretty sure it involves wizards or MSG." It was freakin' good!
