    Chicken fajita toppings

Food is fresh but some dishes are a bit flavorless. Friendly service but a bit slow at times. Really like that they have outdoor seating. Chicken quesadilla was good but chicken fajitas lacked any real flavor. The gem of the meal was the churros. They were delicious and served alongside a giant scoop of ice cream. Overall a decent experience but the food just didn't knock my socks off.

A shame, I got charged for chips and salsa and a coffee I never ordered, they added gratuity in my check which is funny cause I'm server ... never going back there it used to be one of my favorites spot

I hate to give this place a red flags but our first experience with them is really unpleasure. Their food is amazing, and margarita is not bad, but the service, ugh the service is not on point. Yes, we bring a group of 10 to the restaurant. I understand there is social distancing policy, but we are in the same party, CDC policy is allowing people in the same party seating together or close to each other. I'm okay we separated into two tables but why we can't move these two tables close to each other. At least close a little bit. They literally just separated us one group in the table and one group in the booths, where they still have empty tables around us... it kills the mood already. Second is their price on the bill is different than their menu. This is everyone need to be aware. We found out and showed her online menu price and our bill are different, she told us their system updated the price and raise $3 more but their online menu didn't, and there is nothing they can do about it. Wtf, is that mean we need to verify the price in your system each time while we order the food? No. Definitely no. I'm sad to give this place a no-go as there are so many restaurants around the town. I wish they could provide better service to this neighborhood.

    Taco dorado

Passion fruit margarita was delicious and balanced. The cheese and squash Pupusa was fresh and hot. They are quite large and a great value. I also sampled a taco dorado which was also delicious. This place is a fabulous gem in the neighborhood! I sat at the bar and service was prompt and friendly. Loved the free chips and salsa while waiting.

Seems like a nice family hustling to make this place run and it shows. Great service and the food, while not completely authentic Mexican is very good. Extra star for not using the little plastic cups for salsa and such. Margaritas are big but nothing special. Good spot in cool location Orient Heights

They have a truly diverse menu. Convenient parking as well. The food is absolutely fantastic and bountiful. The staff very friendly and attentive. Ask for a dark margarita and you won't be disappointed.

I'd go to 3.5 stars if I could, while I've never had a bad enough experience to post a negative review I certainly have had inconsistent experiences here. From long delays likely kitchen related but poorly communicated by servers. To cold food. And mixed up orders, however their delicious margaritas, and cold beer usually help forget that by the end of the meal. Also they are open breakfast lunch and dinner, and late dinner at that! They can also accommodate crowds and parties. Usually they are true to form, loud music or a football game to watch as you eat/ drink. This is, in my opinion, the best Mexican choice within the 2 mile radius it occupies (and there are many options) We usually order heavy here, and I've eaten most items on the menu, (often I'm in a party of 5) They are a consistent choice for an uncomplicated dining experience.

We were craving waterfront dining and fried scallops--a combination that's usually hard to mess up. The inside has a tired, seen-better-days feel, so we opted for one of the picnic tables outside. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating area looked like it had been abandoned to fend for itself. A broken picnic table frame, weeds, and an unmistakable "good enough" attitude didn't exactly scream "welcome." The saving grace was the view. Looking out toward Boston was lovely, and watching planes take off and land at Logan was entertaining. That said, if plane spotting is your thing, Castle Island or M Street Beach are much better places to park yourself. Our server was pleasant, but the food never really took off. The clam chowder was basically potato soup with a cameo appearance by one or two clams, and it was much milkier than I prefer. My fried scallops were decent, but hardly memorable. My husband ordered the lobster roll with knuckle, claw, and tail meat (there's also a tail-only option), and his review was a shoulder shrug followed by, "It's okay." At these prices, "it's okay" is not exactly a ringing endorsement. To top it all off, they only accept cash or Venmo. In 2026, that's a choice... and one that raises an eyebrow. Between the lackluster food, neglected atmosphere, and cash-only policy, this place was more miss than hit. We won't be back.

I'm an actual customer who manipulated about not a bot from marketing purposes. That is all.... We originally came to Revere Beach for the food trucks... only to discover we'd timed it perfectly to miss them. ‍ Plan B was Drift, and I'm genuinely glad things worked out that way. We grabbed seats at the bar, where one of the bartenders took care of us. The service was outstanding--attentive without hovering, refills appeared before we realized we wanted them, and every request was met with a smile. We weren't exactly running up the bar tab (I think our group had one drink each), but we were treated like regulars. That's becoming a rare thing these days. The food was equally impressive. The salads were perfectly dressed, and the fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, though I would have loved just a little more acidity. A few dashes of Tabasco brought them exactly where I wanted them. Dessert deserves its own standing ovation. The olive oil and grapefruit creation was bright, unexpected, and absolutely delicious. But the undisputed star of the evening was the mushroom gnocchi. The truffle hits you hard at first, almost making you wonder if it's too much. Then, almost magically, the flavor evolves into something rich, earthy, and incredibly balanced. It's one of those dishes that keeps changing as you eat it--and by the last bite you're already wondering when you'll order it again. Funny how missing the food trucks ended up being the best part of the evening. Drift wasn't just a backup plan--it was the highlight of the night.

We had a large party and few kids so decided it would be more comfortable inside. We got a semi private room initially so that was nice. Another party came in halfway through which was fine. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. Got all our orders correct and was very polite. Surprisingly the truffle fries were my favorite. Very crunchy and just the right crispiness. Fried calamari was also great with the right level of crispness and mixed jalapeños. The swordfish had no flavor and was bit dry. I should have expected this but wanted to try regardless. The dish had plenty of strong supplemental flavors trying to enhance the flavorless dish but wasn't doing it for me. Overall not a bad place to take friends or date if in area but I would not go out of my way to come back.

We were in the mood for chicken pot pie, and the restaurant at Winthrop Arms absolutely delivered. The portions are huge, the food is clearly made with care, and the restaurant has such a warm, cozy atmosphere. We started with the mac and cheese, and it was one of the best we've had--super creamy, cheesy, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then came the chicken pot pies. They were piping hot, packed with tender chicken and veggies, and wrapped in a perfectly flaky crust. They also came with creamy mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and fresh bread, which made the whole meal feel like the ultimate comfort food feast. Everything was delicious. What really stood out, though, was the service. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We're from Los Angeles, and this is one of those places we'll be thinking about long after our trip. The next time we're in Boston, we'll absolutely be back. For a little restaurant on a quiet street corner in Winthrop, you'd never expect the vibrant atmosphere just beyond the front door. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in the Greater Boston Area, but owner Lisa, her family, and her staff have succeeded in making Vuolo's a destination restaurant. You better bring an appetite because their menu demands nothing less. I could fill up on just the crusty bread and roasted garlic oil alone. My top two appetizers are probably the tender meatballs and perfectly crispy mozzarella fritti. If you need some greens, the Caesar salad is perfect for sharing. As for entrees, it's usually a toss-up between the chicken parm and gnocchetti, unless it's October, when I only have eyes for the divine pumpkin ravioli. (That is a reminder to always review their monthly and Monday/Tuesday specials.) While all of their desserts are amazing, the crème brûlée and tiramisu are standouts. For those that imbibe, Vuolo's array of cocktails will truly blow your hair back. Beverage Director Joe is a wizard that knows how to satisfy any palate. Not only do they nail all the classics, but their inventive cocktail creations are not to be missed. Their creamy martinis (espresso, pistachio, and pumpkin in the fall) are the best I've had anywhere. I also really love Ol' Buddy Ol' Pal, their version of an old fashioned. In both taste and presentation, Vuolo's cocktails give any popular cocktail bar in the city a run for its money. The caliber of dining and food options in Winthrop has improved in recent years, and I would say that Vuolo's was the one to kickstart that movement. Needless to say, I feel just a tad spoiled having them so close to home. Nothing beats a satisfying meal in a cozy environment with some of the friendliest customer service around. Whether I'm planning a birthday outing or just want a casual weekday dinner, Vuolo's is always a top contender.

If you stick with the seafood, you're going to have a great meal. That said, keep in mind it is a seafood restaurant. They have chicken wings on the menu, we figured we'd get them to share until the food came out.. They were honestly terrible. The order we received came with six extremely small, overcooked pieces that were so dry and tough looking they weren't even edible. Just looking at them we didn't bother as they weren't at all appetizing. I'm not sure if it was a bad day, a supply issue, or something else entirely, but they were a complete miss. Speaking of, service can be hit or miss as well. This past weekend, we had a wonderful server who was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. The visit before that, however, was the exact opposite. Our server--who seemed to be either a manager or assistant manager--spent nearly all of his time chatting up a table of women, clearly trying to get phone numbers. Trying to get his attention for anything felt like a major inconvenience. What motivated me to write this today is that not only was the service good on our latest visit, but we also tried the fried seafood instead of the usual seafood boil--and it was absolutely excellent, and not at all expensive. Both the fried shrimp plate and the fried clam plate were outstanding. If you haven't tried their fried options, or not in the mood to put on gloves and dig into a seafood boil, don't sleep on their fried seafood. It was surprisingly impressive. Overall: great seafood, inconsistent service, avoid the wings entirely, and definitely give the fried dishes a try.
