I was sat at ac table in Anthony's section. I asked him about the new name and if the menu had changed. He said only some items. He was very attentive and we didn't have to ask for anything. Because I was on lunch and watching the time, I forgot to take pictures of my lunch fajita with corn tortillas and my son's grilled chicken chimichangas. The food was delicious! The salsa FANTASTIC! I went to this restaurant for lunch with a large group of coworkers. We called days in advance, and when we arrived, the table was ready and waiting for us, with piping hot chips and spicy salsa. We ordered cheese dips for the table and they were delicious and screaming hot! Perfect for a tortilla chip! Even though there was a large group, our food came out pretty quickly. I had shrimp tacos, which were great. The crunch from the cabbage was excellent as well as the chipotle sauce that was on the tacos. My coworkers got many different dishes, and I did not hear any complaints, next time we do a company lunch, we will likely be coming here! There is a ton of parking, and the service was quick, especially for a party of around 10 people! I stumbled upon this restaurant on a random Thursday afternoon. I'm glad I did as it's becoming increasingly difficult to get an authentic Mexican meal. It was hardly no one in the restaurant just me and one other table. The wait staff was incredibly prompt and kind. The chips were fresh and I loved the salsa. Im a huge fan of cilantro and loved that the taste was pronounced without being overpowering. I ordered guacamole as an appetizer and it was well seasoned and fresh. It was served with pita chips which I enjoyed. I settled for an old classic-the Texanos ACP which is rice, cheese, steak, chicken, and shrimp. It was a large portion and I took the majority of it home. It reheated well too. The restaurant is very large and looks like it would be good to host a party. The booths are spacious and can fit a large group and the backs sit up high so you have privacy amongst your party. I'll definitely be back and will enjoy trying other items on the menu. read more

Whoa, Mi Pueblo killed it today! The lunch crew was amazing today. Perfect customer service and the tostada de ceviche (under $7) was outstanding. I literally can't say anything bad about our visit. My kids enjoyed it. My parents enjoyed it. I had a great visit and I will absolutely return! This place is great for groups as the restaurant is huge and wonderful for kids too. I went with a church group and there were a lot of us! The staff were really great and all of our orders were correct. I will definitely be coming back here! I got the Guaca ACP and it was fantastic! The chicken in it was amazing and so flavorful. The guacamole mine came with was obviously fresh. High Point has no shortage of mid-tier Mexican eateries (another, La Fiesta, is a short walk away), and at first blush, Mi Pueblo doesn't appear to do much to distinguish itself. The music, the brick-and-Southwestern décor, and even the name all create the vague sense that you've been there, seen that. However, there were enough surprises to help Mi Pueblo stand out from the pack. For starters, the menu is appreciably huge. In addition to the base menu, there are supplements for street tacos, make-your-own rice bowls, and tortas. While you certainly can go the familiar route here, Mi Pueblo offers plenty of room to branch out. Want a baked potato stuffed with meat, cheese, and avocado? They have that. Want a bit-of-everything combo platter that serves four? They have that too. The same spirit of abundance extends to the drinks menu, which features quite a few margarita offerings (and sangria). My wife and I went with chiles poblanos (fried cheese-stuffed peppers) and a sopes trio (open-faced sandwiches featuring different toppings on thick corn discs). While our server was generally on top of things, the kitchen proved rather slow. Though far from empty, the restaurant was hardly slammed at the time of our visit. Fortunately, when the food did arrive, it proved worth the wait. The sopes included a tinga (slow roasted chicken), a potato, and a chorizo offering, all of which were tasty. The poblano was something akin to a luxury XL version of a jalapeno popper and became an instant favorite. A $6.95 "medium" flavored margarita will leave you scratching your head as you ponder how big of a glass a large would require. This, plus fairly affordable pricing, suggests that Mi Pueblo is more than merely the solid three-star experience it first appears to be. My coworkers and I met here for lunch today and it was great. We tried several of the salsas with different levels of heat. I'm sorry but in all the conversations, the phone didn't eat first, or at all. The hottest option didn't have a flavor to it (it was green). The next hottest option was somewhat green/red in color, and it had heat and flavor which is always my goal. I had the speedy lunch number 5 which was mostly beans cheese and a great flavorful sauce on top. I asked for guacamole but my coworker had a guacamole salad that I didn't know about. I called and Rafael said to call next time my order and asked for him and he would do something special. We have been here several times in th past but never wrote a review before today. First, let me say I like to food and restaurant itself but the service over the last two visits have been atrocious. Today we were seated upon walk on a section that appeared closed however, since it was just after five my wife said may be the wait staff just started. I love going to eat in this restaurant. But my problems occur when I order take out. I always order beef enchiladas. Since covid I noticed that the restaurant is now using a bait and switch with the enchiladas. If you order a lunch special 7 you get two enchiladas. The alacart has three enchiladas. So this is how it works. The left enchilada is filled with beef. Okay so when you start the next one the beef is gone. Your next enchilada will be filled with only cheese. If you eat in the restaurant this doesn't happen. It only happens with take out. It started during covid and its still continuing to this day. I would like the restaurant to fill completely all enchiladas not just the first one. If I wanted a cheese enchilada I would order it. Mi Pueblo show me the beef !!! read more

First time at Mi Pueblo. So I'll start with the chips and salsa yummy - the chips were nice and warm and the salsa & verde had the spicy kick I love!! The Mai Tai so good & reasonably priced. The veggie burrito filled with fresh vegetables seasoned to perfection & the rice and beans was just right and tasty! And the plate was hot on arrival straight from the kitchen. *business owner was emailed 6/21 since they responded below. I have not received a reply as of 7/6* As a mentioned in another users review, they choose when to honor their specials. My team and I were planning to use them for some catering at work but I'll spend that money elsewhere. They have the special below on their menu and website, worded exactly as I screenshot. They decided to bill regular pricing for the special since my coworker didn't get a drink. Neither the waitress or manager could produce anything in writing saying that a drink purchase must be made (after both were confident that it said it). The manager said we could complain to their main office but today it's full price. Needless to say it's not about saving $5. If you have to buy an additional item to get a special IT NEEDS TO BE WRITTEN or at least verbally told to customers before ordering. This was just one of 4 items ordered. Called them because both tomato and onion were on the nachos. They recommended we got a refund from grub hub for the item. Was not an option to replace the nachos with a correct order. Even though we just dropped $50+ on their restaurant. This was a manager decision not to replace the order. So just remember, if you order using their recommended grub hub for delivery, they take no responsibility in making an accurate order ... No matter what you pay for it. We had a sit down dinner a couple of days ago, and everything was great! I was so excited since I haven't had good Mexican food in nearly 4 months! Our server was very attentive and helpful, she fixed out margarita issue right away. We ordered a pitcher of mango margarita but I honesty could have let a child drink it, there was no alcohol whatsoever. After letting the server know, she took the pitcher back to the bar and had the bartender actually put tequila in it. She brought it back and had us check if it was to our liking! Thanks, it was great after the fix. I already knew what I came in for.. queso and a shrimp chimichanga. The plate was great, everything was piping hot and the shrimp was plentiful and succulent.
