It's been several years since I visited La Fiesta, but when a friend suggested stopping in for lunch I decided to give it another try. We were seated quickly, and the waitress came by with the menu and chips and salsa very quickly as well. The interior hasn't changed in as long as I've lived in the area, and it's exactly as you'd expect for a typical Americanized Mexican restaurant, very bright colors, and decor. I decided to get the build your own lunch combo, with a beef burrito, beef quesadilla, and my rice and refried beans as my side. The food came out almost instantly, no more than a few minute wait, it came out hot, and smelling good. The quesadilla especially was absolutely packed with beef, they definitely didn't skimp. The food was good, pricing seemed a bit high considering the very basic ingredients, but overall it was a good lunch, and I definitely did not leave hungry. If you're looking for good local Mexican spot, give them a try. read more

This is hands down one of my favorite spots in Greensboro its like comfort food at this point. Service is always quick they always have so many options for vegetarians and probably my favorite thing to get is anything that involves their spinach and cheese stuffing. You can build your own combo's, pick two items or three items and get rice beans or salad. They have constant lunch specials and drink specials. This time around I got their pick two combo and got quesadillas and rice and black beans and my friend got some enchiladas! And we ended up splitting a flan which I was speaking so very highly of. I'm no stranger to this restaurant. We come here often and I have to say one of the finest Mexican restaurants in town. The food is always great. Never had anything bad here. The service is second to none. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. This time I got the enchiladas supreme and it was way more food than I could eat. Very frustrating that a table with two adults and a baby were allowed to disturb the whole side of the restaurant February 18. A woman hacked coughing without covering her mouth and talked on speakerphone at max volume. We were forced to ask to move sections. I was then told they wouldn't honor the February special that was advertised either so I paid more than I expected. I have been to La Fiesta a handful of times. Every experience has been delightful. The margaritas are delicious and not too strong. The food is great. My only complaint is how confusing the menu is. My friend ordered a quesadilla off of the kids menu. There is specifically a section that says (not a kid anymore? $2.00 extra). However, they tried to up charge her the same price as the Quesadilla Supreme which is $10.75 (despite the difference in food quantity). When we tried to let the waiter know she explained that this charge was because of her not being a kid, despite the menu saying it's only $2 charge if you aren't a kid anymore, not - $5.25 extra charge. Besides that, I have always had a wonderful time at La Fiesta. I will definitely be back. read more

Ordered the Tuesday 4.95 draft beer special. Apparently it only applies to certain beer, but it doesn't say that anywhere. The bartender didn't know why I was "overcharged." She had to go to the manager. He told me their policy changed a few months ago. No I'm sorry, no compensation. I used to eat there at least twice a month. I will not be back. Covid-19 Review Why does every takeout taste extra good during lock down? Here again this was take out made easy. You order, pay and as little contact as possible you have your meal. One problem, they fit one order(big enough for 3 people) in one Styrofoam box. So when you bring it home have several dishes ready for each meal transfer. Then microwave for 30 seconds. Took a chance on this little gem after a google search and so glad we did. We moved from Charlotte and something that we have noticed since moving here is that there is a huge difference in Mexican restaurants. Here it is so Americanized, bland salsa, and people here love it for some reason? Places like Mi Pueblo are packed and truthfully the food there is garbage. BUT this place, La Fiesta, is AMAZING. Great salsa, great guacamole, fresh chips, the Al Pastor is legit how it's supposed to taste, the carnitas is delicious , all the flavor and cooked to perfection every single time. Quick service, and super friendly staff and servers who are polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely our new favorite place for Great Mexican food. What happened? The High Point restaurant on Rte 68 was one of my go-to places for good Mexican food. However today was not a good day. First and foremost when a person orders Fajitas (which is my favorite and I do a comparison at other establishments) they should come out HOT and sizzling.... here the emphasis is on HOT. My food was cold, not just the fajitas but ALL that were supposed to be hot was not. REALLY and you served it with a smile???? ... then you asked me how was the food??? You knew how the food was when it was served or at least you should have known. Somebody should have known and as early as my party arrived there was no way that food should have been cold in the middle of the day.... come on now!!! read more

One bad thing after the other. The booths are tiny. My water cup came with lipstick on it. Their menu is traditional but when delivered to the table, it's clear it's Americanized cheap ingredients in a similar appearance to what it should be but is clearly not what you ordered. The spinach quesadilla is just creamed spinach in a tortilla. The vegetable quesadilla barely had cheese but had an overwhelming amount of watery vegetables that spilled out. I asked for them to make it again with a normal amount of cheese and no water on the vegetables. It came out without having the cheese melted. The cheese quality is very cheap and makes you feel nauseous. The staff doesn't seem to understand a word you say when explaining what's wrong with their items. This is my second time there 2 years apart. I ordered differently from my first visit but experienced the same situations. The rice has no flavor. Their salad is just a pile of lettuce without dressing. I will never go back. They didn't even lessen the billed amount for all the trouble. Most staff is nice at least. read more
