The menudo was especially delicious and was served with fresh cilantro, onions, and lemons. The sopes were excellent, and every dish tasted homemade and well prepared. What really stands out about El Mora is the service. Everyone who works there is friendly, upbeat, and welcoming. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed, and we never felt rushed. The atmosphere was pleasant, with great music playing overhead. Although the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, within about 15 minutes it had filled up, which says a lot about how popular this place is. Excellent food, excellent service, and a very clean restaurant. We will definitely continue coming back whenever we're on that side of town. Highly recommended!

I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito & a Chile relleno a la cart and I have to say it was by far the absolute worst I've had. The Asada in the burrito was literally the meats fat & the tortilla was dripping grease disgusting, the Chile Relleno tasted like it had been made days prior, enough days to make the egg on it go bad I had to go back for my money & the cashier still had the nerve to argue with I will NOT be going back. Never coming again and you shouldn't come either. The tortillas were cold asf, the meat was ok, and the mess up my order. I bought 3 asada tacos with cilantro and salsa, and they only put cilantro, and I got a sope WITHOUT ONION, and they didn't put lettuce But whatever was a F*€KlNG joke, is that I only got ONE of each salsa for 3 tacos and one sope, and I ask for more, and the working was trying to charge me $1.50$ for ONE more salsa of each. The restaurant is ridiculously stingy with condiments. If you're a fan of salsa, be prepared to beg for every tiny container. Even when ordering multiple items, they barely give enough, and asking for more feels like pulling teeth. It's disappointing when a place skimps on the little things that make the meal enjoyable. We ordered a two taco combo with rice and beans, 2 large tacos, not sure if they were listed on the menu but we had seen them on their old menu and a burrito with Horchata. The meal was ready very quickly, I was happily surprised by the reasonable cost of our meal, it was under 40 bucks. The food quality was very high, the two large tacos pictured below had so much meat that I used the second tortilla to make another taco, I ordered the carne asada that had solid flavor but I was very excited by the flavor of the Al pastor meat, it had great classic flavor and a light char, it was amazing, it was just like my mom made it. My dad ordered the combo, same thing, every item as made from scratch, same for my brothers carne asada, my tacos and my dads meal came with vinegared veggies, jalapenos and two salsa types, one mid and one that had a nice spice level. The horchata was legit! I look forward to my next visit, glad they moved to a nicer spot.

Got the lengua, cabeza, and buche tacos. Barely any meat in the tacos. The meat tasted alright. Nothing special. Why won't they include more condiments? Really had to ration the condiments per tacos. Completely not worth it. Totally regret coming here.
