Went with a party of six to this new Mexican restaurant. The place is clean and nicely decorated. Mexican Music was playing and the vibe felt good. We met the owner who is a nice young lady. We ordered several dishes. The food was excellent. See the plates I posted in the photos section. All the dishes were beautifully presented. A limited variety of beers are available. Service was surprisingly quick even though it was just the owner in the front greeting and serving everyone. Complimentary chips are provided. The owner is still perfecting her carne asada and is open to any suggestions to create a restaurant that people can bring families and friends to for many years. First time here. I really wanted to try this place out and since I was passing by I went ahead. I ordered a burrito al pastor and a very expensive Jamaica. I clearly told the girl no rice and she laughed and said "we don't put rice in our burritos" like really your menu description says it includes rice Got my order and went on. When I got home guess what, my burrito had alot of rice, some beans and a strip of meat Not worth the $15 I paid for. What pisses me off more is that the girl who took my order laughed like it was funny or I was telling a joke or something. Never again will I go to this place. Overpriced for what you get as well as they dont even know what their menu says and definitely dont pay attention to the customers order. Gosh. I really, really wanted to love this place. It's very close to home and the decor is great. The servers are attentive and they place salsa with chips right away. The menu items are very varied and look delicious. And that's where the positive ends. I ordered a BirriaRamen. My family had a burrito, chilaquiles and taco plate. My broth was very oily and lacked flavor. One of the women there came out after our food was put on the table and started spraying Lysol spray like in our table height all around. A man at another table walked out to get a breath of fresh air. It was nauseating. I really tried but I'm gonna have to say never again. Points for the place looking nice but missing out on plain courtesy. She could have sprayed when the place was empty or not sprayed at all. Why? She never said anything. Stopped here on our way to Vegas and got my two young girls a quesadilla and two chicken tacos with toppings on the side and for me a carne asada burrito. The food tasted very greasy and they forgot to give me the cilantro and onion on the side like I asked for my girls; they only have just the meat. Meat was bland and dry. My burrito felt bland. Salsa didn't stand out. More than half the food ended up in the trash unfortunately when we got to our destination. It held us over for the time being. Their ambiance and decor was aesthetically well however we only picked up to go. I got a carne asada burrito and it was not good. I actually couldn't eat it. It was very sour tasting. I couldn't tell if they put too much lime or something was just off. The burrito didn't have a flavor profile, it just overpowered by the sour taste. It was also pricy, I paid almost 15 dollars for a burrito I couldn't eat. I cannot speak on the other food items as I've only tried the burrito, so if I decide to give them another chance, I will update my review. Hopefully they get it together because I was actually excited to have a local Mexican food restaurant that wasn't Albertacos LOL I gave two stars because the person that helped me out was kind. read more

Service was 5 stars -- sadly, the burritos weren't. This spot came highly rated (5 stars when we looked it up), so my friend and I were excited to give it a try. The service was genuinely fantastic -- friendly, fast, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the hype. We both ordered wet burritos and... yeah, let's just say they were more meh than Mexican. The rice dominated the entire thing -- like 70% of the burrito was bland filler. The meat was both flavorless and overcooked, which is a real skill, I guess. As for the "wet" sauce? Pretty sure it came straight out of a can -- watery, one-note, and not doing the dish any favors. I wish a picture could do justice here. This is my third time visiting this location. All three times have been less than desirable. Today's food was quite possibly the worst I've had, anywhere. The meat on two of my tacos was so dry it was inedible. No amount of toppings could have saved it. It very much seemed to be reheated, without any liquid, multiple times before it made its way onto my plate. The salsa (from the chips and salsa) was very watery and with no taste (almost tasted like it was canned tomatoes) I gave the place 3 stars as my husband said his huevos rancheros weren't that bad and the inside was nice and clean. read more

The staff was nice enough. I'm begging you to please add some spices to this food. The chips and salsa were the stars of the show for our lunch today - the only two things that had any flavor at all. My boyfriend and I were super hungry and passing by on our final destination in Little Rock and we love Mexican food, so we thought we'd give this place a try. We were extremely disappointed. The meat is so dry, the texture made it inedible. The rice and beans had absolutely no flavor. Felt akin to when I was eating food while I had Covid. Luckily I have chickens at home who will gobble the left overs without complaint, but as far as coming back, I don't believe that is in the cards for us. Great food. Where was this place when I was pregnant and would crave a California burrito. The burrito was perfect and so yummy. My daughter got the sope and it was good. The food was very fresh and the waitress was super sweet. Fast service. My husband ordered the green enchiladas and they were on point as well. The ambiance is nice. We were surprised to see staff just sitting, laughing and giggling with who we are guessing is the manager who was sitting in the corner, close to the register and on her tablet. The bottles of hot sauce were sticky and if the staff could be more mindful of the cleanliness then we wouldn't have to write about it. We understand to have fun in your job, but it seemed they were more focused on socializing then ensuring customers were cared for and ensuring areas were cleaned. Our waitress was very nice, but her attentiveness was lacking, she survived us our food and then we did not see her for the rest of our meal, no refills on drinks or water, did not come back to asked if there was anything we needed, and I don't think she ensure our order was correct before bringing it to us because I asked for no cheese in my food and there was a good amounts of cheese. I was not able to ask for a new order because she never came back. So I ended up deconstructing my food to get the cheese out. There was a big party that came in and we thought she was helping with that table, but that table had another waitress and our waitress was not to be found. I ordered the Milanesa torta, the meat was really dry, tough and tasted old, as if they fried it in old oil. The beans in the torta was flavorless. My husband had the enchilada plate (his go to item at any Mexican restaurant, his favorite) and unfortunately it did not sit well in his stomach. I am sad that this restaurant was a disappointment and underwhelming, we really had high hopes for this place especially because we do not have a lot of variety in the area. We had my son and daughter in law visit and we were so excited to try this place for the first time. We got there before 8:30 pm. The girl at the register didn't speak any English and she told me that we could order but we had to take it to go and could not sit there even though they close at 9:00pm. Before you think you can speak badly about your customers in Spanish, keep in mind they may fluently speak it too! My classmates and I went to eat here. We've been frequently weekly. Today we had a big group and one person was handed the wrong tacos. We didn't bother the server, we just gave it to the person in our group it belonged to. She waited on her food then let the server know she didn't get it. The two young girls in the front began to go back and forth in Spanish that she was lying and she knows she gave her the food. (She did hand her food but it was NOT HER ORDER.) they said they knew they should've had us pay upfront instead of letting us order. Awful. Imagine hearing this and you just spent your money here!!! Then they said well she was eating, YES bc we felt bad for her and shared our food. Idk if they thought because I'm black I couldn't speak the language so I wouldn't know or what. I ordered the carne asada burrito no pico de gallo and a agua de jamaica. The burrito was great well portioned and a lot of flavor. And the agua was fresh you can tell it was not powdered mix. Clean in the inside well air conditioned. Overall good spot and the service was great. read more
