We had a surprise party here. They have a huge back room that we had over 60 people in. Everyone had separate checks. The service was phenomenal! The wait staff successfully got drink and food orders correct. What a great job they did with such a hard situation. Everyone was milling about talking yet the staff continuously kept taking orders and delivering food and drinks correctly. I was amazed. The food came out hot and the beer came out cold - exactly how it is supposed to be. There were plenty of chips and tasty salsa the entire time of the party which was about 2.5 hours. I recommend the guacamole casero - so fresh with lots of avocado and the right amount of cilantro and lime juice. read more

I've only eaten here once that was with my mom and a friend of hers and I'm glad that we had the chance to. This visit was a few months ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. After we all got off work we decided to get something to eat at macron chose and the food was great not to mention the Margaritas were too. And the service was equally as amazing. Mi Pueblo is the name now of this establishment. Wow really tasty Mexican fare possibly the best I have tried around here. The food quality impresses me here. My third visit here & I have fallen in love with their freshly breaded and fried jalapeño poppers. Not frozen stuff off a truck but the real deal. Plates are served piping hot and good portions. I drink just water just to try the fried ice cream. Now I am looking forward to my return visit over the river . Great service and friendly staff too ! read more

Quality Mexican food at very reasonable prices, friendly staff and fast service highlight this place. Also, it's location is super close to me so I end up here a lot...lol. It is a restaurant, so they do expect you to eat and drink something while you are there (ROFL!!) but the portions are great and the margaritas are huge, so no problems there. Pretty much the same menu as everyone else in town (Theresa's, Salsa's, etc.). They have a huge building with an expansive outside patio to accommodate smokers and they can seat even the largest groups of diners inside. Today my husband had a beef burrito, and after eating a few bites, he realized something was wrong. When the waitress took his plate away, my husband told her that there was something wrong with the meat. The waitress said absolutely nothing, shrugged her shoulders, and walked away. Mi Rancho is a solid choice. Their salsa keeps me coming back, I'm not sure what it is about it, but I love it. The menu items are great, but honestly I end up mostly ordering a few tacos. They come packed with meat, loaded with cheese, and I can only finish a couple before I'm stuff. The prices are easy to stomach as well. The only thing that keeps them from being a 5-star for me is that on a couple of occasions, the service has been a little slow. We've been here maybe one or two dozen times and only had poor service twice. That's a pretty good success rate. Try it for yourself and I bet you'll enjoy it. read more

After at least 12 years of visiting this restaurant at least once a month, I will NEVER go back. Not only was the service slow, rude and incomplete (several of our party did not get their food until others had finished their meal), the thing that did it was the spilling of a hot cheese dip on one of our party members. Management never came around after several times asking to see them and never apologized. The cashier even tried to make her pay for the meal- she was as nasty as could be. Not only was an outfit ruined, there was still a burn mark on her leg well over an hour when we finally got to leave. I am not sure what has happened to this Mi Rancho, but it's a real shame they way we were treated. They lost an immense amount of business today. read more

Mi Rancho is a pretty solid bet for decent Mexican food in the Aiken area. I prefer this location but it can get pretty busy on weekends and some evenings. Their queso dip is yummy and I've had both their fajitas and their quesadilla combo. Between the two, I prefer the quesadilla. Good rice and beans as well. The service is usually good and fast. I'm always very impressed that they keep their menus so clean. Like someone is actually wiping them down. Kudos on the hygiene aspect there! We usually enjoy this restaurant but, today particularly, my family entered the restaurant and we only had 4 to our party. I asked if there were any booths available and the server asked us to wait while he checked, we didn't mind if there wasn't but we are more comfortable with a car seat in one instead of a flipped over high chair. He found one, set our menus down (along with napkins and our silverware) and picked up the dirty dishes from the people who ate there before us. He then told us to come sit. You could see the specks of food scattered on the tabletop, I asked if he could clean the table, he looked at me like I had 3 heads. He stood there and didn't say anything, I asked if he could please clean the table before we sit down. He said "I'll find someone to do it". He made us wait a few minutes until the runner with salsa and chips came over and he wiped down the table. The original waiter came back to serve us and barely spoke. We even thanked him for his service and he said "ok" in response. Very rude. Will probably not come back since, not just because this is a pandemic, but, that's a general health code violation. No one, even before COVID, wants to eat on other people's left overs. We absolutely *LOVE* this place. We just moved to the area and Mi Rancho became an immediate favorite. The first time we went was late on a Tuesday and the restaurant was packed - so you know it's good! Do yourself a favor and try the carnitas - they are spectacular, tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Highly recommend the burritos tipicos and the fajitas as well. The staff are very friendly and the food is aaaamaaazinggg!! We love to dine-in or order take-out. Either way, it always gets eaten. I can't speak highly enough of Mi Rancho. read more

The server was awful, they messed up my order, I got a combo and wanted a chicken tostada and a pork soft taco and chili rellenos. I got a pork tostada and a chicken soft taco. My friend had to actually go get up and get our waiter twice and she ended up going up to the counter so we could get to go boxes. The food was mediocre. The service, although, not a busy night, was non existent, and rude to say the least. Several employees were gathered around the bar, and it appeared they argued over who should wait on the customers? I suggest going across the street to Tequilas! The service is courteous, enjoyable, and several employees are willing and available to meet your accommodation, The food is excellent, and the salsa is authentic. Mi Rancho, in my opinion has gone WAY down hill. Let me remember to state, I was not feeling well for the rest of the night or next day.
